Pet Wants is the best pet store I have been to. A lovely associate took time to follow me and answer all my questions! She knew all about my dog breed. She gave me great advice on toys, snacks, equipment, and food!With a staff so attentive and knowledgeable, I doubt I’ll shop much everywhere else.It’s worth to at least stop in and let them give you a free pound of dog food to try out!

I really appreciate Pet Wants. I encountered them at a local farmer’s market. Their passion for animal health and wellness was contagious and exciting. I purchased their cat food by the pound for a long time. I also used to buy other accessories for my cat and even gifts for my friends’ and relatives’ pets at their store.

I stopped in this store while visiting town, I'm not normally from there. I just wanted to see if they had any single ingredient or more natural treats. I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw! Not only did they have single ingredient treats but they also had other well known brands. Don't even get me started on the staff. They were so nice and we ended up talking about our pets for 45 minutes! I loved it there and can't wait to go back!

I love small businesses with employees who care. Once you're a regular, you're recognized and the employees are all so friendly.I started getting my dogs the chicken and brown rice kibble years ago. My pups love it! Plus there are great natural treats like chicken or duck feet, freeze dried meat, bully sticks, etc. Prices are reasonable, and they have a rewards program.The toys they sell are very durable. At first I thought the prices for the toys were a bit much compared to some I've seen on Chewy or at Walmart. However, the toys I've bought two years ago are still holding up.

We have been feeding my dog the food from Pet Wants since he was a puppy. He enjoys it and I feel better giving him something that was locally made. A new owner just stepped in. He's friendly and obviously loves animals. Stop by and check them out!

Very good products, very nice people run this franchise and they do a GREAT job with delivering a fresh product. The product and the people are top-notch, but the website is one of the worst I've ever seen. It's virtually impossible to have a good experience ordering on this website.... I can't believe I'm the only one who feels this way, I wish the company would invest in a better interface.Even with that, though, happy to have a local manufacturer who diligently delivers fresh product to my door, providing good nutrition for my puppy dogs.

This is hands down the BEST dog food I have ever encountered.We have two adorable aussies who are high maintenance in every way. One of them has a very delicate stomach and the other suffered from skin issues for a long time. He was constantly scratching, had rashes all over his belly, and even lost all of his hair on his belly where he always scratched.We tried everything we could find - every kind of grain free food, supplements for skin issues, organic salves for rashes. Some of them worked, but they only treated the symptoms, not the problem.We found Pet Wants and decided to try their food for a few months to see if it made a difference. Within a month we saw huge differences in them both. The food was so gentle on a delicate stomach and did miracles with the skin issues. He stopped scratching completely almost right away, the rashes cleared up surprisingly fast, and all of his hair grew back healthier than ever. Both of their coats were shiny and soft, and we havent seen ANY if the issues we had before in the 2 years since we've been feeding them Pet Wants.The best part is we hardly pay any more for this food than we did for any other store bought food we used. Not to mention they deliver SO quick and completely FREE, and are truly the nicest people who care so much about your pet. It is obvious from the smell, look, and results that this food is completely healthy, natural, and fresh. I truly hope wherever we live there is a local Pet Wants because I never want to feed my dogs any other dog food.

Love this fresh dog food. They offer kibble that is so dense with nutrients that when we switched from a high end commercial brand all my dogs gained weight. We had to reduce the amount we were feeding to keep our dogs at their healthy weight range.The retail store always have the safest products for my chewers. The dogs are always pleased with the options. Great support from the owners!

Our dogs love the cow cheek bones and the duck hearts are their special treat. Love the owners, very informative and we even got a sample of dog food to try. Thankful our friends told us about this store,we used to get there bones at jungle Jim's but not anymore.We are forever customers here from now on 😁

The owners of this store are outstanding. They are super friendly, caring and committed to their business and providing quality products for our pets. I have visited another Pet Wants much closer to me and the proprietor was no where near welcoming. I cannot recommend this store or the products they sell strongly enough! Our Morkie is thriving in their products. AND, if you're concerned about price, well settle down! The whitefish and duck adult food is just $2.89 per pound. Because of the quality of the food, your dog does not need as much kibble as with the commercial brands, so the cost is comparable. Go here. Get a sample. Offer it to your pet. I promise your pet will gobble it down and will thank you with robust health and energy.

Pet Wants is a great place to get all of your pets wants and needs. They have a healthy homemade food for both dogs and cats. I want to feed my cat all of the nutrients that I know she needs and Pet Wants has that. They also have toys for your pets.

I can not thank this place enough. They are fantastic. They educated me on what I'm feeding my dog and found the best recipe/mix to give him. They deliver his food in a timely manner. They even text us before the delivery to ask us how we wanted the order. These people know what they're talking about and their customer service is phenomenal. Pet Wants is truly an exceptional company and their food is the best in the industry. However, the Hamilton store confusingly refuses to sell me their food. I am left to drive a much greater distance to any of the other Pet Wants in the greater Cincinnati area where those employees are more than willing to sell me their product. At the Hamilton store, which is close to my home, I am told lies about availability. For the past year I have been purchasing $150 of cat food monthly, mostly from the Findlay Market and Vine Street stores.The Hamilton store employees refuse to sell me the same products, choosing instead to make up lies about the supply chain and availability. Really, why lie about the products you choose to sell in your store? It is your store and you may choose to offer whatever you will, just don’t lie about your choices and please don’t blame the supply chain. Own it. Be honest.

I absolutely love the owners Rachel and Chris are absolutely some of the nicest people you could meet. My dogs do well on the gluten free chicken and rice. They have super shiny coats and both are a healthy weight that has been maintained. Very fast response and delivery. Thank you for your local service!

We have a picky eater senior cat that literally hates all kinds of dry foods.. until we found this place. Rachale and Chris are so amazing with timely delivery, warming messages upon delivery, amazing customer service and of course delicious nutritious foods that literally have my fur baby gain 1.5 lbs within 3 months. Very knowledgeable, and while the selection wasn't huge it was only top quality goods. I'm considering switching to the kibble they produce 🤔. Just doing my research first.Edit: while I love the products the packaging is inadequate. Lost half my order getting it out of the car because, the bag ripped and the plastic was barely closed with a twitie tie. Dog food all over the driveway. Probably 40$ lost

This place is absolutely wonderful! Staff are so caring and professional and willing to give you advice about what’s best for your pet and what they should be eating and how much etc etc and they give you their undivided attention and you can tell they are genuinely interested in helping you to be a better pet owner. They will do whatever is necessary to make your life easier by helping you figure out how much food you will need per day/ per week/per month etc and help you remember when you should order it. If you cannot go pick it up, they bring it straight to your door free of charge. Never tried their services before? No worries...they deliver a very good sized portion straight to your door free with no strings attached! If you like them, great! If not, no problem because you don’t have any obligations to them. It’s risk free! They even sent a hand written letter with the free sample and the letter was not a “general to everyone “ type of letter, it was personally directed to us/our family, addressing the issues we spoke about to them over the phone about our concerns re: being a new pet owner and things we were hopeful and/or concerned about....they remembered that conversation when they aren’t required to do that and wasn’t asked to do it and that was extremely thoughtful and very very heartfelt! Definitely give them a try, you’ve got absolutely nothing to lose and sooo much to gain from the experience!
