The Groveport Kroger store and pharmacy seem to be very organized and stocked fully without boxes and skids everywhere blocking isles like most other stores across Columbus and the surrounding areas. Everyone I had contact with was well informed and eager to help and very friendly. The store seems to be very clean.

Sold me moldy mac n cheese, contacted store & they offered to make it right with a replacement + $20 gift card. They informed us it would be under my name. Went to make the exchange and pick up gift card only to be told by customer service rep there was nothing he could do & talked to me poorly instead of getting manager - turned me away for not having the managers name we spoke with on the phone.

I went to the store for the pop and didn’t realize that I didn’t clip the coupon. The line was huge and the cashier said he can remove the pop and have me go back through the self checkout again that was half way down the aisle. I called customer service to say that they could have done two separate orders but she was cold and said that they were busy and that is how they do it now. I would have been happy not to write a review had she just been a little nicer and said sorry mam for the inconvenience. Anything but you make a customer feel like you don’t even care. Besides I see people check out with two orders all the time. By making me go back in line only makes the line longer and customers angry. To boot it all, I went to self checkout and it still didn’t go through after the coupon was clipped and another associate had to move me to another spot to fix it.

It's a grocery store, not too much to say on that. My one big complaint, however, is that the dairy section noticeably has some spoiled products whenever I come in here. I check all my dates because of this, but it's still sad to see that they keep expired products on the shelf and sometimes don't do much about it

Will never order from grocery pickup from this store again. I arrived for my order Sunday at 6pm due to notification it was ready. After arriving was told the order would not be ready due to short staff and I can pick up the order tomorrow. Communication is absolutely trash I did not receive a voicemail and when i spoke with the manager Tim he was a joke, very unprofessional. I have order many order throughout Columbus never have I experienced this. You not only wasted my time you now made it an inconvenience.

Employees need placed where they can work. Was very low on fuel,"walk for sho" thanks to maps leading me the wrong direction. Attempted to get fuel while they were open approx 530 pm. Lol to behold,gas station attendant decided go grocery shopping and out to eat with her family. This put me in a very bad spot, and made me not able to complete my day. At about 5:50 pm she arrives with her apparent mom and dad, instantly her dad showed why there was Jerry Springer. Apparently wanted to start an altercation, which he was duly invited to partake. Screaming that his daughter was diabetic as of an hour ago, as an adult that's why she needed to abandon her area (per other customers )approx an hour. Manager says he allows his employees to just walk off the job... especially in critical areas. This employee family stayed behind me for 15 minutes walking around with their video cameras going while trying to escalate the situation. At the point after speaking to the manager on the phone and telling him to get his but out there, that I mentioned I was a former marine and it's been a while since I got to do marine stuff, get out here before there is marine stuff going down,that they left. While I was talking to the manager , they came back and started their Jerry Springer audition. So if you miss Jerry Springer hit their fuel pump up.

This Kroger still charging more than price on the shelf. How long has this been going on? $20.99 sale, charged $22.99. Manager would not adjust the price of only $2 and treated me like dirt, not good customer service at all. Called Ohio Dept. of alcohol to report.

Wrong pricing on alcohol. Rang up for! REINGRIEST 9.99 6 pack. Charged 10.99. Would not correct receipt. Manager said xant correct alcohol prices. Do better Kroger. Get the prices correct

The pharmacy is a hassle. Long lines inside. The drive thru gets shut down often. They are now closing for lunch break. I also see signs in-store indicating they they are short staffed, and I know the people working are doing their best. But pharmacy management needs to work on hiring and retaining employees. I like using Kroger for pharmacy because it’s convenient, but that value proposition is quickly diminishing.

I like this Kroger produce is always fresh. The meat counter is wonderful. I can almost find what I need here. Service is very friendly.

Overall good store. But it’s not my usual store & everything was not where I thought it would be & ended up taking me way more time than it should’ve. For some reason my closest store has decided to move everything around after all the years I’ve been going there. Not cool. But I ultimately didn’t save any time like I thought I would by going to a less packed store.

It's bad enough that we have to "work at krogers" in self check out at 8pm. Now, there is a restriction of 20 items on self checkout. Sooooo at item 21, this popped up and I had to wait for 14 minutes (actually 14 min 30 seconds), for someone to come over and scan their ID. If you are going to force us to do this, at least change the limit number on it. Or I we can play a game of oh? Here take my cart of $250 in products and occupy yourself playing "where in the store does it go back to". I can do that every night... so maybe be more C U S T O M E R focused, because when I get a 20 item limit reached when there are ZERO ACTUAL LINES OPEN, someone is going to be given the cart and told "here good luck, going to Walmart."

PARENTS & PEOPLE WITH DOG ALLERGIES BEWARE! FOR MONTHS, I have asked Customer Service and various managers at this location to post a sign that only allows service animals to enter the store. Nothing has happened. A month ago I witnessed a couple allowing their dog to sniff or lick the bacon. When I saw them later in the store, they didn't have bacon in their cart. Since then I have counted about 7 dogs in the store without a service harness. Today this woman had a Yorkie in a cart with a towel under it, WHY because when Yorkies get excited they do what -- PEE!! They were in the fresh produce section with the cart pressed up against the veggie bends. I went to customer service and they all were too afraid to say something to her. Nevertheless it is unsanitary! Animals are unsanitary, and laws protect the national food supply from contamination from dog drool, urine, feces and other material that dogs carry on their coats and paws and might leave behind on store shelves or counters. You have parents with kids that have dog allergies and you are exposing them unnecessarily. Dogs should not be in a cart that other people use for their groceries. If you arrive home and dog hair is on your groceries, you know why. I love dogs but they don't need to be in grocery stores unless they are a legitimate service animal to someone that has a disability. If you want your dog to lick all over your groceries, then wait until you them home. How can Kroger guarantee Fresh Food if they are allowing pets in the store.KROGER MANAGERS: The FDA is very clear about Non Service Animals being in grocery stores... Kroger POLICY: Kroger does not allow pets in their stores with the exception of service dogs. This policy has been in place for many years and SHOULD BE enforced at all of their locations across the country.

Flies always surrounding produce. Bought expired products on accident a couple of times. One time in the frozen section the bags of general Tsos had clearly thawed on the top and the employee told me it was okay because, “the bags on the bottom are still frozen”. Dogs in the store. Got cheese the other day that was sticking to the wrapper because it had clearly warmed and melted to the package. I am switching to giant eagle.

Dont buy any Mandarins from this store. I have bought 3 bags over last week and a half and had to throw out at least half of them due to being dehydrated, no juice just dry pulp. Even tried the organic ones. Not edible, and its not like you can return them either. Staff is good, only reason for 2 stars.

It's Saturday! Place was packed! No lane open for checkout only the self checkout lane. We put our stuff down and ended up walking out. Have tons of customers with full carts, and not one lane open. Last time we will ever go back.How about get some better management, maybe open a lane to accommodate the people who pay you.

The experience happened on 05/04/2022 at 01:30 PM.Employee’s name was YolandaShe was supervising the self checkout machines on the right side of the building, if you're facing the doors leaving the store.Asked her to assist when the self-checkout machine number 15 didn't accept two of my bank cards. She told me I have to click go back. Which I did twice but that machine was stuck.She FSR carried on with a rude attitude and tone stating "there is something wrong with your card"I said I tried two cards and it did the same thing.She said "well maybe you're going to fast"She had me to do it all over again and the same glitch happened.She eventually had to transfer me to another machine to get finish the transaction which worked fine.I knew at that point that I'll leave a bad review due to her denying and rude attitude on top of the time being wasted.I asked her, are you going to report that machine broken to not waste someone's else time?!She said : No the machine is fine; we test them every morning. It's your card that's not working or maybe you didn't use it right !Well if it was my card or me, why did it work perfect on the other machine. She continued to be rude until the last second of the interaction.Also, there is a good chance that the machine breaks down given that it's been more than 7 hours since she checked it.However, she knows it all !

Was doing shopping and what looked like 2 high school kids dropped a loaded gun on the floor the clip came right out and everything as i was walking by they both looked at me with huge eyes and picked it up and ran then went to a cashier who also looked like a teenager and I’m assuming told him what happened then started laughing smh. Very unsettling experience i just got out as quickly as possible

This is the racist Kroger I have ever experienced as shopper and employee. The management and staff are primarily white – and depending on what department you are in; the racist undertones are undeniable. I think his name was John Hock (store manager) and Melinda/Melissa (pharmacy manager). The produce manager wasn’t too bad, but he had a similar temperament.The pharmacy staff was cold, off-putting, and just rude as hell. I couldn’t believe this was their general attitudes. I was the only black person in the department, and they sure did not want me there. It all started when Melinda/Melissa came back after giving birth to her latest runt in her litter. I’ll never forget the look on her face when she saw a black person working there. I don’t know what she said, but she left the pharmacy and I believe she went to talk to Hock. There was another assistant manager, I forgot her name, but she was the mouthpiece(she was racist too).Anyway, suddenly there were no hours available for a few weeks. Melinda/Melissa was icing me out. Everyone had hours except for me. Comical.Naturally I raise concerns, to no avail. I’m “offered” to work in another department I think, but subsequently I transferred to a more “urban” store up the street to work in that pharmacy. But my house was closer to this location.Did you know not even days later, they had two or three new white boys working back in the pharmacy LOL!The word on the curb was Melinda/Melissa only wanted to work with other white people, who attended OSU. Fun fact – I knew the President of OSU – she personally wrote “me” a letter after I assisted her one day – not even knowing who she was(not that it would have made a difference). I never shared with her my experience.Given the facts and timing, I had a clear case of discrimination. There were plenty more issues and subtle incidents, covert comments, attitudes, bad energy, just an awful experience. One of the most racist experiences of my life.I don’t know why this was on my spirit to tell my story, but it needed to be told.I haven’t stepped foot in this store since. You shouldn’t either. Judging from the latest reviews, it seems karma has caught up with the racists and I’m quite pleased. Meanwhile my life is fabulous and well, check the name b****h!

I only come here if I can't find things at Aldi. Kroger prices have gone through the roof, even with discounts and coupons. Beware of wrong prices and expired items.
