We were out doing some Christmas shopping and stopped by Skylarks to grab some gift cards for our nephews. We had never been in the new location and wanted to take a look around to make sure purchasing the gift cards would be worthwhile. We were met by the owner who was super friendly and of course knowledgeable. He showed us around the store and pointed out some of his personal favorites. We found several things that the kids would enjoy, but it was also nice to have that interaction with the owner during such a busy time of the year. He treated us like friends who he was sharing his passion with. I would recommend checking them out if you haven't.

The owner Daren is super cool and friendly. I've always had an amazing experience when shopping here. I first discovered Skylarks about 3 years ago at their location that used to be on Broadway. I was just there before I went on my cruise and picked up some Sonic comic books to read on the plane and a few movies. I would highly recommend checking Skylarks out.

I freaking love this place! Went in tonight to check out the new store and picked up a few older comics. I just started getting back into comics and this is my go to place for the older stuff. The owner is an awesome dude and I am just so happy that we have a comic store here in gc cause there ain't too many close by. Check this place out if you are a comic fan or you like some vintage toys. This place rocks!

Skylarks Toys and Comics is not just a store; it's a cosmic adventure for every comic and toy aficionado! My experience was nothing short of spectacular—the store is a treasure trove of fan delights, and the service? Superhero-level amazing! Also one of the more visually pleasing comic book stores I’ve been too! Definitely will be back to Skylarks and encourage those who haven’t to stop in and check it out!

It seems like this place is closed every time I try to go to it. I try to go when it says it is open. The door is closed. I tried this three times throughout last month. I just tried calling the phone number within business hours and the call failed. I would love to go into the store and shop, but apparently they can’t be bothered to be open when they say they are.

I’ve probably been to this store about 10 times or so. Every time I’ve gone my experience has been lukewarm. The comics are never priced in the back issues. Several times I had to wait 20-30 minutes in my car in the parking lot because they shut the store down for a break mid day. Prices are way off when you do get the staff to price them. Highly recommend avoiding this place if you want a positive comic and collectible buying experience.

Cannot say enough about the customer service that I experienced at the store. I came into the store without a lot of knowledge to the items that I was looking for and the staff was nothing but accommodating and caring. I was able to find what I needed and at better prices than other places that I looked. If you’re in the area, or even if you aren’t, Skylark’s Toys is not only a great store but a great experience in itself.

i just drove around 30 minutes to come here the hours said it was open and the door was locked and it didn’t look like anyone was there. it is very upsetting that i wasted my time driving here for it to not be open.

Skylarks is a unique store that’s a great addition to Grove City. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful! Fair pricing and a lot of options. Make sure to stop in if you have an opportunity!

I was leaving the theater and going to my car when I saw some cool looking figures through the glass in this place, had to check it out. Went in not realizing it was 9 and it was supposed to be closed but the cool guy at the counter which turned out to be the owner let me browse around. The place was awesome and made me relive my childhood and how cool collectibles always were before having to live the busy life haha. He gave me an amazing price on a hasbro count dooku lightsaber I never thought I’d see again, bought it with no questions asked and a cool goku figure to go with it. Thank you so much man, I can’t wait to stop by again!

Hardly any anime items at all if that's what you're looking for, I saw maybe 5 or 6 including a few manga on the last end cap on the far left aisle facing the door side across from the comic boxes.

Disappointed, i came around 4:40 as well as two other customers and it was closed and it says open until 6 on Wednesdays. the other person looking to come in said she was wondering why this place hasn't been answering their phone. It also has the sign "I assure you we are open. " clear as day in the window, if something is happening inform customers of this so we don't go on a wild goose chase. :/

Man I was at Skylarks just the other day and he was the only one in town who had exactly what I was looking for. No one was a bigger Evil Kenieval fan than I was growing up. He had the motor cycle the doll and even a piece of one of his crashed helmets. Then I look to the right and in the case basically glowing buy me, was the Wonder Woman doll with whip! Linda Carter omg! Long story short it was a trip back in time that I will never forget. Not many places like this store exist anymore.Thank you Skylark! Shop at Skylarks Toys and Comics! You won’t regret the browse!

This place is amazing. They have so much stuff to look at that you could spend hours upon hours in there. The owner was super nice and helped me out. It’s a hidden gem in Grove City for sure.

First off I just want to say and to clarify that all of the negative reviews of this place are fake, there's people on here saying that they don't even have vintage toys in the store... Well I have news for you I was just in here yesterday and like more than half of the store is nothing but vintage toys.. so I'm not sure what those other people were talking about? And is a very good selection you got a lot of collectible and antique figures Andorra toys from very popular movie franchises and TV franchises, old school cartoon shows, you got stuff from like Sci-Fi, action, horror, etc etc, and the inventory is always changing he's constantly getting in new and different stuff all the time, there's got to be something in here for just about anybody, it's an amazing store. 😎

Favorite comic book store and vintage collectable store in my area! They always have a huge selection of collectibles such as funko pops, vintage Legos, hot wheels, comics, and more. The guy in charge is super kind and prices things very fairly. I tell all my friends about this place.

Has a true love and passion for everything nerd haha he sat with me for hours going over hundreds of comics to help to decide what was worth getting graded, his only cut was getting to look at the old comics. Picked up new GI Joe classified. No price marked. When I got up to the cashier he looked on eBay and said I’m gonna have to charge you this. When I stated the going rate from a store is $19.99. He lowered the price some. eBay is a secondary market. He’s also not selling on eBay or paying eBay fees. Also, anyone can list anything on eBay for any price. eBay is not an accurate value guide and it’s poor business practice to adjust your price on a customer by customer basis. Depending on what you find on eBay at that day and time.

Amazing store. Very knowledgeable in what they sell. Clean and friendly environment. They now sell fudge which is an added treat. Would advise anyone looking to find a hard to find collector toy to try here.
