I love visiting this pet store with my 8yr old daughter. It always brings a smile to her face being able to play with and spend time with the puppies. The staff is always super friendly and patient about letting her choose which she wants to hold and switching pups. A++

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I purchased a dachshund in October 2023. The day after getting her, I found out she had pneumonia. She was hospitalized for 5 days and on treatment for weeks after. She also had Giardia but it was mostly likely picked up while she was receiving treatment. The only upside is that Petland paid for the costs of the hospital stay/pneumonia treatment because I caught it the day after and it did not exceed the purchase price. I’m so happy my puppy responded well to treatment and is thriving now, the vet said if it had waited another day or two, the outcome could have been different. I should have done more research because it is known that Petland as a whole is horrible and unethical organization and I hate that I contributed to them. I will never again. I love my puppy and I’m happy she is mine, but shame on this place for not taking better care of their dogs.

First - WOW! Immediately was greeted by an employee- Emily ! She was awesome. She asked me if I was looking for anything special & if she can help - she walked through the store with me and showed me around. They even have ferret Christmas stockings!!😊 super cute. Grabbed all my ferrets one. And she also helped me shop for my other animals at home. Even after done shopping we still took a look around and she let us play with a puppy! Told us what they came with and was super informative. Even though I did not walk out with a puppy - I will keep this petland in mind for when I want to expand my pet family & will be taking my business here. Ask for Emily! She’s awesome. :) thank you for the experience! Will return.

This is the petland where we got our liver spotted Dalmatian I would recommend buying a dog here! the staff were so friendly our Dalmatian is healthy! This was awhile ago when we brought him but just thought I should give a good review!

Came in a few weeks ago they have a small selection of items but it’s a clean store. The puppies are super cute! and the girl that has black and blonde hair is super educated especially with product/food. I came in for some different food cause my dog was being picky and she suggested some great things that I have tried at home. And now my dog is happy, healthy and eating! Thank you grove city petland for wonderful staff members and having everything I needed.

We had the best experience here. My husband took me to pet puppies, and, well, our new puppy is happy in his new home. Petland took wonderful care of him. The employees are knowledgeable and considerate. We will be returning for our pet needs.

Was just there and brought my first puppie "Jack Russell Terrier" from them! Paige and Emily was absolutely amazing! Thank you both for helping me get what all I needed for my sweet and beautiful pup and for being extra patient.Both girls was super sweet and very educated when it comes to a new baby's! Emily was extremely pushy and rude towards me and my son when we were trying to look at dogs and didn’t give us any time to actually play with the few dogs I was looking at for my son. Her acting this way wakes me not want to come back to this location, it doesn’t feel welcoming like it should be.

We was searching for a cockatiel, this location didn't have any but took our number down and said they would call us when they got more in. They called us a week later, so we went and got our newest member of the family! She's such a cutie and so sweet. Still thinking of a name for her.

Emily belittled me infront of my children bc I genuinely couldn't afford a 3k dog. I could get a petland cc but who one earth wants that.Also. They change date of birth for the "puppies" so they appear younger and they're really 24 weeks old and not 14.

The staff was great. The only complaint was that they didn't carry fish,being the reason we went there. But the puppies, birds, hamsters,and rabbits were plentiful. Nice store.

A dog normally around 500-1000 bucks should not be sold for 6k period. This place is ok to get pet supplies and hold some pups for a bit also have rodents fish reptiles and even spiders and crickets.

Unfortunately Petland has almost entirely stopped selling small pet supplies. What used to be multiple aisles of supplies is now a single shelf in the back corner. After many years of being a regular customer I am sorely disappointed in their choice to stop selling these items.

I go to petland for dog food and I typically don’t have issues here, but I sometimes end up having to deal with some issues when it comes to the brand of food I need being there or just coupon issues. It does get on my nerves sometimes because I like to just be in and out of the store. Everyone for the most part is friendly, just wish more of the items I needed were consistently stocked because I can’t buy them at other pet stores.

We went here to get a hamster and hamster supplies. It was so nice to see a staff member pick up a hamster!!!! Their container is open, so guests can play with them. This means they get used to being handled, unlike other big chain stores who leave them in isolation, and untouched.So far we have had lot of luck in hand training our little girl.... Playing with her every day and no biting.We had a long drive to get to this location. When the employee heard about our drive, she gave us an extra box and another cardboard container for transport. So considerate!The staff member knew exactly what food and treats the hamster had been eating when I asked, so I was able to pick up there to make the transition easier.We have had 3 hamsters so far and this was by far my best encounter in purchasing a hamster.

Great nice and clean place with some type of awesome "lifetime pet" deal . It's where you buy a pet and they supply you with food resources and grooming options also. You will have to check it out . It's a good place to go if your looking for a pet. They even got beautiful birds. Had to add that . There like lil parrots..

I went into the Grove City Petland store over Labor Day weekend to grab some shampoo for our two golden retrievers. Stephanie helped me pick out what I should get for my dogs which included the “Good Dog Fur Mist For Him” which is essentially doggie cologne. It may sound booshie, but MY GOODNESS does it smell incredible! Our dogs have never been so soft or smelled so good.Thanks Stephanie for the help! We will certainly be shopping here again.

Bit smaller than other Petland's but has a great selection of puppies and is not as overwhelmed by people. Employees are kind and knowledgable! Puppies here are pricier than breeders' but the price includes cage and all other stuff everything you need to start, 14 day/1 year health warranty and Petland Lifetime Program, so it's not unreasonable and could be convenient for some people. Enjoyed my experience here! Played with a really cute golden retriever puppy.

I've never been treated so rude in my life. My boyfriend and I went to this location to pick up crickets and a dog bed. They were out of crickets (very common for this location) and the dog bed we wanted did not match the sales price. When we were waiting at the vacant cash register (also very common) the male employee came up and said "what do you want?!" Needless to say we left and did not purchase anything. I highly recommend driving the extra mileage to a different PetLand.

I got a French Bulldog a few years ago from this location. Now my dog that i have became bestfriends with is diagnosed with hemivertebrea/ivdd which if they were actually health tested would never have been available to buy in the first place. HE ISNT EVEN PAID OFF YET AND NOW HAS TO BE PUT DOWN. THIS IS HORRIBLE. SHAME ON YOU. How is someone supposed to even heal when they have to keep making payments on a dog that is gone due to someone elses mistake because they are born with this diagnosis it doesn't just come on so if his spine was checked correctly he never would have been available to buy.

I never felt pressured to purchase a puppy. But I didn't want my credit ruined. I told them they can do soft inquiry only. They performed both. Knowing if soft inquiry wouldnt allow me to purchase my pup I would buy him out-right with cash. He had a slight cough. Took him to the vet the very next day. He had kennel cough. After trying to get Pet Solutions to fix the mistake with my credit inquiry they told me to contact someone else. So to this day. That inquiry wont come off. Beware of what you verbalize and actually sign. And if you suspect animal is sick. DO NOT purchase.
