The manager at this store with the glasses is so rude and unprofessional and nasty. Don't go to this store unless that's the service you're looking for. You tell her prices are ringing up higher at the register than on the shelf she'll ignore you or get an attitude or make some flippant excuse. Went to get ranch for 2.50 it rang up at 5.25. she said people have been moving stuff. No ma'am no one came in here and moved your entire row/inventory of ranch. Then one day I asked her to check the price of pop because it was on sale and everything keeps ringing up higher at the register. She said no it doesn't not here. I said it happens almost every time I come here yes it does. She said maybe at the self checkout. Um ma'am that still an issue you need to fix. Then today asked for help on an order she acted like I was stealing. Said I only see one receipt that's after she took all my receipts and threw them away. I. Was using two cards so that's why there was multiple orders. I had to show her my bank transactions like I'm stealing some 2.00 cookies after I shop here almost every day or every other day. Then she was rude to a doordasher who said he needed help she said it's not my job to do your shopping for you you haven't even started the order on your phone how do I know what you want. Why are you so rude and condescending and lazy? You need fired for fr. The guy manager or key holder whatever he's called is very nice and deserves a raise and deserves to be manager not this sorry excuse or a human being. If your job is that bad and you hate people that much then quit.

Ok, so today is Saturday, I went to DG to use the 5 off 25 deal. I clipped the coupon in my app, I grabbed $26 (pre tax) worth of items and put my phone number in at the register. The coupon didn't go through. The worker called over the manager who said they've been having problems all day, they weren't given a print out of the coupon to scan and there was nothing she could do. I wasn't buying anything important and $5 doesn't make it or break it for me. So I wish I would've paid the full amount and left with the items i had spent so long picking out. But the problem came from the rude manager making me feel like I was the one causing problems. She turned it into a personal issue and treated me like I was threatening her job and her life. Literally, she said "$5 isn't worth me losing my job and feeding my kids". Excuse me, this should not have been a war between me and her. This should've been both of us upset with the inefficiency of DG. I wouldn't be the one firing her and she isn't the one withholding my deal. Had she shown any amount of interest in customer service and reassured me that she was understanding of the situation and on my side or helped me with a solution of calling customer service or telling me she would call when I left I would've just paid the $25. But she made it a personal issue. She put me in a position of feeling like a threat, which caused me to feel defensive. I literally drove 30 min and passed multiple DG to go specifically to this location because I thought it would be nice and become a regular place to shop. I'm disappointed to say I wasted my time and I was wrong. I'll spend my money on Amazon where I don't have to deal with rude people who hate their jobs!

Came to the door at 10:02 am and the only worker was just sitting in her car and unlocks the door after I’m already at the entrance, says I’m not opened but I will be in 20 minutes. Like so you’re late the stores 2 hours behind and that’s the best you can do. Definitely should be fired for not opening the store on time but that’s just me. Wouldn’t pay an employee who’s incapable of showing up and doing they’re job. Shouldn’t of been sitting in there car being lazy but again just me

While in line to check out Cashier Becky was ringing up another customer and saw swiffers were on sale, turned to another worker and said "oh the swifters are on sale, maybe we should have stocked those, oh well the sale ends today".I tried to use the u-scan. My coupons were not coming off correctly, i used the call for help. I had to press twice before anyone came over. Becky said to try using the regular machine. I was explaining I had other coupons saved that didn't come off, one was a $5off $20. She said it came off at the if the total after coupons not the subtotal. I asked if the coupons changed I come in every Saturday. Her only response was "well I work here". Hmm ok...I asked a question, that you didn't even attempt to answer. The total before coupons is what matters, the coupons can stack. Since you work there you should know this. Instead you want to have an attitude instead of answering a question.

Don’t waste your time at this place. Stood in line for 15 minutes while there were 2 lanes open but only one person working the register while the one 2 workers behind the second register talked. A customer in front of me politely asked them to maybe turn the light off the register if they weren’t going to work it cause there were 8 people in line and they kept walking to that register thinking it was open. When the older lady said that the assistant manager or whoever works there that seems to be in charge immediately got hostile and told the customer she shouldn’t have came that what she bought was stupid and to make sure she never came back. Very rude and uncalled for.

Love Dollar General...love this location. Employees are always friendly and helpful, store is clean and always well stocked. The ONLY place I've found Lysol since all this "stay home" began. And cant beat the prices...whats not to love?

There are truly great people who work in this dollar general. I saw a man who is a huge threat to me walk in and then go sit in his car. The cashier got her manager to walk me out. They were very comforting as I was panicking. I can’t thank these people enough!

It can be tricky to get out of the parking lot during peak traffic hours. It's just what anyone would expect from a Dollar General. Newer store and it was clean; well stocked. Staff were helpful and polite to me during my visit. I would recommend this location to anyone.

This place was unwelcoming from the second I stepped inside. The aisles were super narrow, there were uneven piles of boxes taller than you absolutely everywhere, ready to fall over with the slightest nudge. There were literally tripping hazards every 3 steps and the 1 employee there... you could tell she wasn’t happy although I don’t blame her honestly. It was understaffed and she tried her best.

Boxes and incoming carts everywhere. Went back today and hardly nothing has changed. Got to the counter, two people in the office talking about personal life problems as one heads out the door to her car. I ask about a product I had been looking for, still now two weeks later, her answer, "to be honest with you, we haven't the man power to stock the shelves and I really don't believe I could find it back there anyway."

Terrible store, aisles are so packed with product on floor it’s a fire hazard! Will never return. Its an accident waiting to happen. Product everywhere on floors, unorganized mess. Dirty, no toilet paper or paper towels in restroom. One person working one line. Good luck shopping in this location.

Atmosphere very pleasant. As a multi racial family, we are proud to say that we were treated with upmost respect and we enjoyed talking to the awesome cashier who was chatting with my 3½year old son... Very very sweet lady!!

Used to be a great place to stop in and pick up a few items. In the past week, I've tried to shop there 3 times, and each time the store was closed during normal hours for some reason. Not a good look.

Unfortunately, something has happened to the overall management of Dollar General. I hate to write this as these stores are my favorites normally to shop in. However, in the past few months the stores that I shop have become impossible to navigate. Wagons of merchandise block the aisles. No stock is put away and the shelves aren't stocked. There is usually only one person on duty with a line of people at the register.

Best DG I ever been too. They have home decor at this location I've never seen at another DG EVER! Best home decor for the price hands down. Customer service was great as well.

It's cheap and they have a good variety. It is pretty cluttered though. Often times stuff laying on the floor or carts of merchandise just chilling in the isles. The isles are really narrow and makes it difficult for people to pass by each other.

This is the Harrisburg Pike and Home Rd. location.Apparently mask wearing by employees is not enforced here. Elderly woman in front of me just asked the cashier what the sign, directly in front of his face on the plexiglass, was for if he wasn't going to wear a mask? He responded that it was only a recommendation. Now the sign, in part, says "Do your part and wear a mask". I guess Dollar General doesn't mind if employees don't "do their part" and risking the spread of Covid-19 to customers, even the elderly. It'll be real easy to check the store cameras for evidence of non-masked employees (rarely does one have one on and if they do it only covers their chin).

Conveniently located on 62 just north of 665. We use Dollar General for household supplies. I dont buy them, wife does all that, but I know she wont buy paper towels, toothpaste, laundry detergent etc from a regular grocery store because she says it's much less expensive from here.

I usually have a great time there and everything is just as it is supposed to be but I went with my friend today and this guy came up to us in the parking lot and started asking me and my friend random questions and he thought we were stealing soda and bikes

It’s great when they are OPEN but I have been there SEVERAL times when the doors are LOCKED in the middle of the day and no notes on the door or anything explaining why they are closed!! Several people trying to get in! Also the phone number to call the store is NOT in service!!! Just like now locked doors and 4 cars with people in them trying to get into the store 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
