Went in to get Covid vaccine. They don’t do walk-ins. Have to schedule online. I explained that I don’t live in the area. Doesn’t matter. They told me I could try the Minute Clinic (which is set up inside the CVS.) There was no one at that desk. (But there was a sign saying Medicare wouldn’t pay for vaccines at Minute Clinics. You have to wonder why.)

Originally I left a very good review and was so happy with my service here I changed pharmacies to this one.Until I went to get 2 prescriptions refilled a pain pill not a narcotic and a muscle relaxer, I'm suffering from a torn meniscus. Well apparently your pharmacist can't count to 14. I was supposed to get 14 of each bill. I come home and only have 9 of the pain pill. My husband called and the pharmacy tech he spoke to had a bad attitude about the mix up. But told him to come tomorrow to pick up the other 5 pain pills. So he did and he gets home and it's 5 more muscle relaxers. Are you guys getting high? What the heck! This is very worrisome as to the integrity of your pharmacist and your techs. So BEWARE check your prescription and count them before you leave there.

This pharmacy is dangerous. This morning I came in and asked the pharmacist (Marty) specifically for "dextromethorphan, brompheniramine, and phenylephrine" in an over-the-counter medication, because our pediatrician recommended it specifically as an additional med for my sick 2 year old. The pharmacist immediately told me that I could not get it without a prescription. She was very dismissive of me and would not let me finish a sentence. She wouldn't look at the piece of paper where the Dr had written down with the exact words, verbatim, of what ingredients I needed in the medication. I couldn't believe how rude she was. I tried multiple times to clarify my question to the pharmacist, to clarify what my doctor told me that my child needed, and to re-confirm that the pharmacist was specifically saying that "was not available," so that I could relay that to our pediatrician. The pharmacist (Marty) wouldn't even let me finish my question before trying to walk away and literally said "I'm too busy". The other pharmacy employees seemed empathetic of my situation and obviously embarrassed of her behavior. I repeatedly tried to finish my question, but she would not let me finish. Another pharmacy employee chimed in an said "that medication isn't available anyway." My wife was horrified at their behavior and lack of basic tact or customer service. Let alone that their one specific role is provide medication advice and fill prescriptions from physicians.I was a pharmacy technician for 5 years and we dealt with countless nightmare-pharmacists like this who let their personal emotions get in the way of their dutiful oath to help & protect patients. It's the low-life's like this who have absolutely no business in the profession. Negligent pharmacists undeniably put people's lives at risk. I immediately called my doctor and told her what the impatient pharmacist (Marty) told me. The Doctor said that the pharmacist was "absolutely incorrect", and that she had purchased that specific medication for her own children last week.So I then proceed to a different pharmacy down the road, and once again ask a new pharmacist if they could get me an over-the-counter medication containing "dextromethorphan, brompheniramine, and phenylephrine." This new pharmacist swiftly walked me directly to 4 different options on the shelf, and I found exactly what our doctor had told me to give our sick child. I explained the situation to this new pharmacist of how I had gone to CVS Stringtown and been told very adamantly and impatiently that no such medication existed without a prescription and "even if I did have a prescription it is backordered and not available." This new pharmacist told me she had heard so many awful stories about Stringtown CVS in the past and she would never recommend going there. I am pursuing this issue further with the retail chain's corporate office and the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy on Monday as my wife recorded the entire interaction on video. This place may be great at conveniently providing your potato chips and greeting cards, but when it comes to their one role & responsibility where you need professional medical advice, please don't do yourself the disservice of being insulted by this disgusting example of a professional establishment. I was told an outright lie in front of many employees and pharmacy customers, presumably because she thought I wouldn't know the difference. This person has no business working here.

FIRST THEY ORDER IT. NOW THEY DON'T HAVE IT. Very irresponsible pharmacy. Very important medicine that I needed. Zero star. I will never use CVS AGAIN.

Very clean, all the staff I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. I went to the minute clinic, it was easy and convenient. Then went to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine and they were also very friendly. Highly recommend!

The staff is always friendly and welcoming as I enter the store. They always ask if they can help me find anything and that is refreshing. When I do run into issues, the manager is right on it and helps the other employees out in a timely manner. I appreciate this store so much. It is always a go to for a drink, gum and my medications and I love that it is close to home and I can depend on a nice experience when I am in there. Thank you!

Went here to get a medication - pharmacy tech said they don't have it. They have it in 3 other forms. I asked to speak with pharmacist to ask the differences and she attempted to dismiss me. I just wanted to know the difference between ER, CD, and LA.The 2 staff members that I encountered Saturday and the 1 I spoke with today are all very rude, short and curt. It is unfortunate that our insurance company no longer accepts Kroger. They were always nice, kind and amazing. It is a shame I only have 1 choice for filling meds. I absolutely HATE going to this place!

Always excellent service from pharmacy and cashiers. Sometimes pharmacy doesn’t have medications ready but that’s part of the gig. Especially love Barb at the front, she’s a phenomenal employee and super sweet

I scheduled an appointment for the bivalent COVID booster and flu shot at this location over 24 hours in advance. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and successfully checked in via a link CVS texted me. I walked into the store and over to the pharmacy and was told that they ran out of the COVID booster and that they had sent me a message. I had received no message.I left without getting the COVID booster despite having an appointment and confirming that appointment when I had arrived. There were multiple steps when I could have been notified. As I walked out the front doors, I received a text and email that my appointment had been canceled (4 minutes before my actual appointment time). I wish I didn't need to waste the gas today, but here we are! I do not recommend this location.

Update your store hours. We got my prescriptions sent here SPECIFICALLY because it states it’s open until 10 pm. When we showed up at 9:02, the pharmacy was closed. Waste of our time and gas

Called to make sure what I needed to buy was available. Spoke with an associate and confirmed before driving over. When I got there the pharmacy manager, Tyler, went out of his way to call me a liar and basically embarrass me in front of everyone. I can see why they are so poorly reviewed.

Drive thru is apparently only there for their convenience. Last 3 times there it was closed with a sign saying to come inside. Still nicer than the eakin store.

Out of all the CVS’ I have filled at, this one and its Pharmacy staff and by far the most rude and unprofessional group of people I’ve ever encountered. I will never fill at this location again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Slow, incompetent, rude.Too many times I’ve waited 20+ minutes in the drive through, just to be told to come back once I finally reach the window. Even though their text notification system told me my medication was ready. The pharmacy manager Michelle is condescending and fake.Today was the last straw when they told me my insurance wouldn’t pay for my anxiety medication because it was filled earlier that day at another pharmacy. Are you kidding?? Great job CVS for giving my script to someone who isn’t me, or whatever blunder you’ve managed YET AGAIN. Now, after once again waiting for ages in their joke of a drive through, I’m waiting for them to sort out their mess so I can actually receive my medication. Enough is enough.

Do not get prescriptions filled here. Multiple times I have been hung up on while put on hold and was hung up on this morning after calling them (tech claimed they couldn’t understand me and hung up), techs not entering information correctly and do not provide the correct information unless you ask them and drill them to provide answers, and most of all a lack of patient privacy and hipaa violations. Have had techs shout across the pharmacy to other staff what medications I am on for everyone in the waiting area to hear. Have been getting prescriptions filled here for years and have never had a positive experience with them. Their techs do not take the time do fulfill their duties correctly and rush. Multiple times I have had to forgo medications for days at a time merely due to their mistakes.

Post from 11/29/18: I called into the refill line again, not for me but for my daughters prescription. I went to the pharmacy later than the requested pick up time and the prescription had not been filled. She asked if noon the next day was okay, I said yes. I just left CVS pharmacy without my daughters prescription because it wasnt filled yet, AGAIN. Asked if tomorrow would be okay, I said not really because you told me yesterday it would done today and I need it. The script is for a compound medication. I understand that is probably last on the pharmacist's priority list but its at the top of mine. I could understand if they needed to order the supplies but they didn't. I left but I am furious. I called another CVS close by to see if they could fill the script but they didnt have the supplies and told me to call back to the pharmacy because this was unacceptable. I can make my own compound medication but cant take it to her school because its not in a prescription form. At least if you dont fill the script be nice about it. Made me feel like they dont have time to make the medication.Previous post from 8 months ago: I only use CVS because of my insurance plan. I used their automated line to call in a refill. It even asked me what time I would like to pick up my prescription, I thought well that's convenient. Well I went there and of course they said, we didn't receive anything about your prescription. I think that they need to look into this automated system because if it doesn't work then they need to have it fixed. I didn't ask for my script to be filled the same day, it was the next day almost 24 hours later.

There’s a pharmacist by the name of Shawn who is absolutely amazing! He was patient, accepted more that 5 calls from within an hour and did everything he could possibly do to assist with a childcare center requirement situation. Ultimately my situation was unable to be resolved but nothing that was CVS’ fault!

No one answers the phone here. I was on hold while I was AT THE HOSPITAL WAITING WITH MY DISCHARGE NURSE to make sure my escript was there. I am terminally ill. I was being discharged from the hospital after having my nineth surgery in the last several months, so getting this medication was important. I still haven't talked to the pharmacy, nor have I gotten my medication. I had to switch pharmacies during this already difficult, stressful time.

Says 8a to 10p on here for today's hours. Got there at 6pm after leaving an urgent care and they were closed. They billed my insurance then closed. So now I cannot get my 8 year old sons medicine for pneumonia until tomorrow. If they wouldn't have billed it then closed I could have had another CVS who stays open past 6pm fill it. But they cannot double bill insurance.

This pharmacy is the worst. Hopefully I will be able to switch to a different location soon. Please hire employees who speak fluent English. This should be a requirement when hiring pharmacy techs! The pharmacy tech who waited on me at the drive thru earlier this morning was horrible. I had questions regarding the medication and she couldn't answer my questions. I guess this is the world we live in now days.

Scheduled Covid testing online, showed up early. Waited for 40 mins and wasn't contacted. I knocked on the door and called inside and they said that no one was there for testing. Would have been nice to have been informed.

If you click on "see more hours" it shows the Pharmacy times compared to store times. It''s not the stores fault that you people are too lazy or too dumb to find the correct times! They are posted RIGHT HERE! It says they close earlier than the store EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! PAY ATTENTION! OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

Absolutely ridiculous!!! I was told 2 hours, 5 hours ago. I was told 15 minutes, 45 minutes ago! People are sick. No one wants to sit here this long . I understand a place being super busy but don't quote times if things aren't going to be ready. Allow folks to rest and come back when things are ready.

A horrible place to fill prescriptions. Dropped off 2 prescriptions at the same time for my husband who just had surgery and they only processed one then had the nerve to ask me if I need the other one right now. Seriously ridiculous now that after waiting over an hour for the first prescription I have to wait longer for the other one that should have been filled at the same time. I will never come here again
