I own a 130 lb Great Dane. Just took her there for the first time to bathe her. It was free this month but normally $10. They Supply the shampoo of your choice plus towels plus a blow dryer. Absolutely worth every penny of the $10! I would recommend it to everyone oh, especially those with a big dog. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

I absolutely love this store!! The expert service was great they helped me with finding the right supplies for my lab who has overly dry skin. And answered all my questions and gave me helpful tips!! Also they had dog toys right there in the store that I usually have to purchase online because of my lab being an aggressive chewer!! I will definitely be buying all my pet supplies here in the future!!

Went in to use pet wash for my dog, he is an English Mastiff. I had been in previously to ask questions. They assured me it would handle a dog his size. The cashier even said they have had others and St. Bernards. She made me feel comfortable bringing him.The price was great! Until we were given basically no instructions on how to use equipment, watered down shampoo, no towels (after we asked they did give use more) we have a very large dog. My dog slip on tile and fell and then continued throughout the store.I could understand not being helped if the store was busy but, it was not and there were three attendant or cashiers available.This will be my last time bringing in my dog or another pet I have.

One of the worst pet stores I have been in. The smell of the cats was overpowering. I mentioned it to the lady working but she said it wasn't her job. Really! The shelves were empty and the wash area gross with lots of hair. This store used to be a good store. Can someone please tell me what happened to it?

Haven't even been in the store yet, but from the two reviews I've read...I'm going to LOVE IT!!! There are no animals for sale in the store which means they care about animal welfare. They are not in the business of torturing, neglecting or abusing animals for the almighty dollar. Nor in it to pump out animals as fast as they can to immature, spur of the moment purchasers, who don't understand that "kittens and puppies" take more care then hauling them around in their purse!If you want cute kittens and puppies to stare at and play with...go to The Dog Shelter, they have new arrivals daily and others dying for attention!!! (P.S. Have someone explain the 5 star rating system to you.)

I honestly thought there were gonna be animals in this pet store such as kittens and puppies. But there's nothing... I'm not even gonna waste my time with this place. I honestly don't see how you build a pet store but only have supplies for these animals. But don't even have any animals in this pet store. What a joke!

Best pet store EVER! Employees were friendly & helpful. Store is clean and carries quality products for pets. Much better experience shopping here than at larger pet stores.

I wish I could give them zero stars! I took my dog there today as I have on multiple occasions and never had a problem. I was going to get her nails done but instead I had my day ruined by a bully hater! Once again I had a "professional" throw pit bull breeds under the bus. Our dog is 5 years old been around kids, small dogs, babies crawling around, to festivals you name it she's done it. Never bit, snapped or even made me worry that she would. It was really unprofessional and almost hurtful to have this woman stand there for 15 minutes telling me how horrible ALL pits, mastiffs and bullys are. I will never go to pet valu again which sucks because MJ loves their brand of food but I refuse to buy anything from a company that would allow such a fowl human being to "care" for people's furry family members. VICIOUS OWNERS, NOT VISCIOUS DOGS.

They need to check there stock, when they run out, they need to order more. I ordered a case of Instinct dog food in rabbit, more then a month ago, which was suppose to be in on senior day March 27, they said the truck was coming in sometime that day, we later came back that evening, no rabbit, we went to the Richmond store, none there either, we had to go to the Englewood store where they had a case there. We went to Greenville, 3 weeks after senior day, still no rabbit. What's up with these stores, why can't they order this food when they say they are and it should be here on the shelves.

Friendly customer service always! That being said very limited on non dog/cat supplies. Great place for over priced dog/cat treats and such. Not a place for reptile or amphibian or small critter owner

The people at the Greenville pet valu are always very kind and helpful. They are very knowledgeable on various pet needs and will gladly help you find the items you're looking for.

Clean store, good service, the dog wash area is very useful. Product selection is sometimes lacking compared to some of the bigger pet store chains.

There's so many things to choose from I ended up with about 20 NEW cat toys and the employees are very nice just a pleasant place

The staff are always nice, and I love the dog bathing area. My dog hates baths, but she doesn't mind them as much here.

Disappointed in the store. Prices seem high. Don't have a very good selection for small animals or fish related items. Often out of stock of items.
