I’ve been to this location a couple times and everything went well until earlier today. I ordered cookie dough and the Samoa ice cream double scooped. I am allergic to peanuts which is why I ordered the cookie dough and not cookie dough with peanut butter!!! I started eating my ice cream and noticed that it tasted like peanut butter. I walk up to the counter and tell them that they made a mistake and added the cookie dough with peanuts. The girl at the register made it seem like it was my fault because I didn’t let her know I had an allergy, mind you I’ve been to this place a couple of times and nothing ever happened. I ask the worker for a refund and she’s on the phone with her manager for a long time without trying to speed up the process, knowing that I’m having a reaction to the peanuts. All the workers behind the counter didn’t even care to help, instead they just looked at me as if I was crazy. The girl who made the mistake putting the peanut butter cookie dough didn’t even care to apologize…In other words I will be calling corporate and I will not come to this location again!YOU WORKERS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO READ!!!!

The ice cream really is that amazing! Some of the previous reviews have mentioned that items are pricey, but I have to say that for the phenomenal quality and the huge portion sizes, the prices are very reasonable. I do wish, however, that they offered smaller portions (at a lower price of course) -- for example, it'd sometimes be nice to have 2 smaller scoops of different flavors than to have one large scoop of one flavor. The photos below show the size of a 2-scoop container using a credit card for scale.

Been coming here for years. This is a great local family ice cream shop that has tons of homemade flavors. Everybody is always very friendly. Place is always clean. My biggest complaint is the blizzards either there is next to nothing or so much candy you can't eat it. But all in all this is a great shop. They have pretty yummy ice cream cakes also.

Eric's has changed just a little bit over the last season but the ice cream is still the best in town. The eating area was clean the parlor was well staffed with friendly associates and the patio area is always clean and ready for guests.It's a great place for locals and tourist.

Love this ice cream place!!! The ice cream flavors are interesting and good and they let you try samples if you are deciding between a few. The biggest problem is deciding what to get and the 2nd biggest problem is eating it all. My wife and I get 2 scoops a lot, and we have a hard time finishing it. We somehow manage. I would love a smaller size 2 scoop option. Staff is friendly and helpful and seem to always be pleasant when we go. It can be busy during the summer months. Glad they are open year round too! Highly recommend :)

The ice cream is incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had. However the service is awful. I’ve gone two Sunday’s in a row - the only times I’ve gone, and the young woman who served us was unbelievably rude. Plus she didn’t take care of the bathrooms either. The soap was out and the toilets and floors were filthy. We were the firstCustomers there so there’s no excuse. I’d really like to go back but after seeing how the service is I’ll pass until she’s gone and they take care of their place better.

Some of the best ice cream that I've ever had in my entire life. And that is no joke the ice cream here is excellent. They have a lot of seasonal flavors so make sure you talk to one of the super helpful girls behind the counter to find out if the flavor is going to be gone after they empty out all the ice cream. Everything is very fresh and is very well made you can totally taste the dedication they put into their ice cream. I honestly won't go anywhere else for ice cream.

Oh man. Very disappointed in my experience today. Long story short, I rode the motorcycle to the Wooster Street Location last week while my fiancé attended a baby shower. The Oreo Flurry was as expected, no big complaints on the quality. I really wanted to take my little brother for a visit yesterday evening, June 8th. As we were walking in, an older gentleman was leaving with an order and there were two other patrons eating on the patio. A small business at work! Yes, they were getting close to closing time, about 849pm. We walked up to the woman at the counter and smiled, no smile returned reminded me it was the same woman who served me last week. I asked if it was too late for a couple milkshakes, she said yes, it was too late and they were closing up. We thought she was joking. Unfortunately no, she said they weren’t serving anymore and that they were closed. A final thought, in today’s economic times, you’d think a small business would accept any business even if it means you’ll have to re-wash an ice cream scooper or re-rinse an ice cream blender. Little bro was disappointed, but DQ got our business down the road.

Order 4 milkshakes and they all came in liquid form and half way filled. When I tried to reorder it the store told me that I need to pay almost $50 again. Terrible customer service. Should have went to Dairy Queen. 👎🏾Responding to your reply: so it was door dash fault that your workers half way filled our cups and made our milkshakes runny? And the order came up to $47 and some cents. It's wasn't $35. But go head and put all the blame on door dash. Terrible owner and service. So unprofessional. Door dash refunded $41. Thanks door dash. Never will I ever shop at Eric's again.

Wow, just looking for some good ice cream and we found excellent ice cream. The flavors were bold and a great variety. I have enjoyed ice cream all across the US over the past 2 weeks vacation and I believe this was the best overall. I was also pleased that they don't skimp on the servings. If I didn't live a couple hundred miles away, I would gladly return.

Great place for an ice cream treat! Large portions and plenty of variety. They offer testers so you can try a few before making a decision.There is more parking around back of the building and an additional entrance back there as well.

Great choice of soft serve and regular ice creams as well as sundaes and such. If you could call it a complaint, my only "complaint" is you get too much! Ordered a small hot fudge sundae and it came in at least a 16 ounce cup, full over the top! With tons of fudge!! But it's that really a bad thing!?🤔🤣 My sister loves their cookie monster ice cream.

Best place to get ice cream in the area. They offer non dairy in both vanilla and chocolate which is so hard to find. Most places always make their non dairy some gross 'fun' flavor that forces you to either eat a flavor you don't like, or mix it with toppings you don't really want.The staff is always very nice.You won't find a better ice cream shop anywhere near by.

The quality of the Ice cream is unmatched! So smooth and creamy. So many great flavors to choose from. Portions are very generous, especially for the price. They can't make a milk shake at all. We have been there multiple times, and each time we ask for it to be extra thick, we get a milk shake that is basically chocolate milk.

A clean ice cream eatery with great tastes, and a lot of unique flavors. Definitely a good place to visit no matter who you are, just be aware that it is very costly. Go there expecting to spend at least $5 per person, if you want cheap go elsewhere.

This place has the kind of ice-cream you'd think about being able to eat in heaven. The flavors are varied and very much seasonal. The quality is superb. This ice-cream is homemade and the portions are generous. Staff is very kind and they provide free samples of ice-cream so you can decide what you'd like to have. If you're in BG looking for ice-cream, this is your place to go.

Staff member was extremely rude. She began scooping the ice cream and I said oops can I have that in a waffle cone please and she rolled her eyes and threw the cup on top of the other cups handed me the ice cream and rolled her eyes again. Ice cream was good though. I’ll definitely come back as long as whoever was working tonight isn’t there. I was there around 9pm yesterday.

Friendly service, with an ever changing ice cream flavor selection based on the season. Go for the pint or quart for a good deal for take home. Theu offer samples before you purchase so do not be shy about asking to try a new flavor. Our favorite is still the blueberry pie icecream.

A good quality ice cream shop. They have a variety of flavors, but if you don't want to spend too much money they do have soft serve options. There are also a variety of food options posted inside. A good atmosphere, and friendly staff.
