Stopped here today and when I went to pay for my stuff they told me my bank card was blocked! I had cash to pay for it but let them keep it! Drove to Ripley Ohio and went in the Dollar general store there and got stuff I wanted and when I payed for it my bank card was NOT blocked! I feel the people who work in the dollar general store in Georgetown need to learn how to do their job,!

This is my favorite dollar general. Employees are always nice, and they don't bother you when you shop. Plus they have the best variety of all the stores I've been to. The only down side is they never seem to have there truck put away. Its always always in the isles, in the way. Its not really a big deal, unless you cant move it out of your way.

just went other day.had 9 people in line.shut one register down so they could dig to bottom of stack for item for some guy.he was at the opened register. Held people up.was #9 in line one item after just standing there five minutes I put back item and left.new staff,very poor service. If it keeps up like that after 5 years will take my business elsewhere.was a sad joke that day.need jay jay and her crew back.now 1-24 and I must say they are doing much better.hadnt been in awhile but they have workers again who keep things running much smoother and are happy to help.

Went in for a return and The bigger male cashier was rude the whole time making snarky remarks and complained when i wanted to take 1 pack of cigarettes and acted like it was the end of the world and acted starstruck like a deer in headlights. By the end of it they managed to take more money from me and owed me money by the end of the transaction. There are some in there that love their job and you can clearly tell who are there just for the paycheck.

Went and did a return without a receipt and received a gift card which I already knew would happen, then when I went to purchase cigarettes with the gift card the girl was talking to me like I was gum stuck to the bottom of her shoe and said I couldn’t with a gift card I got from doing a return when I was just there on Friday and got a gift card from a return and purchased cigarettes with no issue I don’t remember her name but everytime I’m in there no matter if I’m just purchasing something she always looks at me with disgust and talks to me that way and looks down on me like she thinks she’s better than everyone. I live 2 mins away from that store but from now on I’d rather drive to Hamersville dollar general then to walk in there and be treated the way I get treated by her. I am so blown away I worked at the DG in bethel I know the policies like the back of my hand and she’s doing her own thing an saying what she wants cause of the fact I did the return without a receipt I will most definitely not be back and I will let me friends an family know what happened and will suggest that they don’t go there either. Very unprofessional and disrespectful and it’s only the 1 person who gives me problems if I could do 0 stars I most definitely would!

Bathroom clearly states on outside of hallway to *Ask for the Key from an Associate*. Yet they will not let you use the restroom when you are there and will give no explanation as to why. Come on people, we are past the COVID scare 😱 and we know how to wash our hands!! I will never shop at this location EVER again! What a joke!!

The staff is highly unorganized and they do not follow the outlined dollar general guidelines for COVID-19. My girlfriend was pregnant and working there for only two days when she contracted COVID-19. Overall they were very poor at communicating with her and maintaining the schedule. She was promised 23 hours or more a week and was being only given 8..... It really wasn't worth it because we lost more money due to covid than she made. Rude staff. I will personally never shop there considering how they operate and treat people. Most of the staff there are tweakers because dollar general doesn't drug test. You can tell by looking at them. Just go somewhere else.

AWESOME Group of employees. So helpful & friendly. Easily found what I needed in a hurry. Came back at a later date & was treated like an old friend. So nice. Spent time going thru store & found many great bargains. Love this place. Great place to stretch a buck. I recommend this place to all on a budget or those just wanting to save $$

I visited Georgetown location horrible !!! Store is a mess nothing on shelves and one cashier ( during Christmas season)Really hard to shop this location I normally do not for this reason. Only stopped because I needed on item ( kidney beans) and of course none on shelf, I refuse to shop off a u-boat.

They are extremely helpful whenever I go in and I do not know where to find a product or if I need information on the product they are very helpful in telling me where to find it or how to use it. The Dollar General has everything I need 2 cook a dinner clean my house. I will continue daily

I live in a small town, so having a place like this is very convenient and saves me a 30 minute trip to the nearest shopping center. The store clerks are usually pretty friendly and helpful.

Always seem to have things I'd never expect a dollar store to have! Great pick up store for last minute items so I don't have to drive all the way to Mt. Orab to Kroger.

Was told to put on A mask when entering the store,I ask if they wanted me to leave they told me no,so I did my shopping.when I got to the counter both employees started hurrasing me.one(Travis) was around the counter getting in my face.when I told him to back off he lost control and wanted to fight me, I sent my 15 year old daughter to the car. Travis told me he would be waiting outside for me.upon existing the store he pulled his shirt off threatening me again.I called police to keep him from getting hurt.

I like this store except ever aisle is cluttered with merchandise that needs stocked. Soon as you walk in there's a hand truck of toilet paper that is on it's second week of sitting in front of the c D's

It never takes off your digital coupons at the register. You have to show the employee that you have the digital and then they will refund you but just a hassle😣

This Georgetown Ohio location is horrible, the store is always a mess freight always on the floor, never but one person working register and the girl that was working the register was not nice , did not greet customers and never had a kind word or even a Thank You as you were paying, This store is the reason I normally do not shop at Any Dollar General Store.

Dollar General: for the people who only cares about themselves and throws their gloves and masks out in the parking lot. I would think and hope Dollar General could at least put a trash can outside...
