This is a very low-key local ice cream shop. They always have good food (ice cream as well as hot dogs and chips, pop, sides). The amount of food you get for the price is reasonable, and the service is fine. This is a seasonal business, so be sure they are open if it's not summer. Take a walk around the quarry while here, it's a nice stroll and a good way to burn off a few of those calories.

older lady who was working Friday evening during Genoa homecoming extremely rude horrible customer service! wish I would've read others reviews which say Same things about This Lady before I went there. plenty of other ice cream places where the customers are treated politely. mello creme much better customer service!!!!

Went there to pick up an order. The girl I placed order with was new ( first day) no problem. I placed order paid for items (3) items cost, one $4 two were $2.50 and only two of the three items came to window. I let new girl know was missing one item. That was it. Nothing more nothing less. Then this old crabby lady (staff) starts barking at me about how I need layoff the new girl, it's her first day... WHAT??... I simply asked where the last item in my was was that I paid for. Nothing more nothing less. Then this old crabby lady said if you want last item you're going to have to pay for it. Ok, I did already but she wasn't worth arguing over with so I just paid another $2.50 to get last item for our order. If the crabby old lady would have bothered to look it was clearly written down by the new girl at the time the order was placed and paid for, but, the old lady rather yell at a customer because of her screw up. We won't be returning and after hearing from others this is a common practice there. So if you want ice cream without drama I would suggest going elsewhere, and if you're the owner (crabby old lady) maybe it's time to either sell and move on or go get some customers service skills because the one's you have now suck.

Agree with others who complain about the old hag, who is consistently awful. She's screwing up the young girls who work there, they are also rude. I won't go back to this place, too many other good options.

A girl named Melissa took my order and was rude. She was giving me attitude and dirty looks the whole time. I grew up in Genoa and used to injoy being able to get ice cream. I'm not going back there again.

The ice cream is very creamy. The Dole Whip taste like your eating fresh fruit. All of the portions are very generous.

The best is ice cream stand in the area. Great sundaes and cones. I suggest you try a blue raspberry freeze. Then take your treats to the park next door.

They rush you to place your order and are just plain rude. I’ve never been to a place that tells you “hurry up, we have a line” when you’re literally the only people there.

Only take cash. Light on the toppings. Was not very busy for a hot late afternoon. Ice cream was okay. Most likely will not visit again.

Ice cream cones are huge. Small is the size of a large, medium is the size of King Kong and I've never been brave enough to ask for a large and the prices are cheap. I think it was like $3 for that colossal cone.
