I took my dog, Venus, to see Dr. Emily. Venus is 12 years old, poor Baby, and she was having trouble getting up. She's an American Bulldog, 102 lbs. so I couldn't lift her. I actually had to have an ambulance(SQUAD 51, another great service) transport her to the Clinic. Once there, all the staff was wonderful. We didn't have to wait long, even though we didn't have an appointment. Dr Emily was really good with her. My girl is old and I thought I might have to....you know. They helped me get her in the car. They were very gentle and caring. By the time I got her home, I got her out of the car and she was walking on her own. I know her time is coming but, thanks to Dr. Emily, I've got more time to spend with her. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I recently had to put my cat down. I called a few vets in town and this was the only one that could get me in the same day. When I got there, it was taken into a private room, not an exam room. It reminded me of a mini funeral home with soft, calming music, pamphlets on grief, and tissues. It was very nice. The tech and the vet both explained the whole process to me and they were very understanding and sympathetic. When they finished the shots I was allowed to stay in the room with him as long as I liked and there was a button in there you could push that would ring the front desk if you needed anything or when you were all finished. She even took me out the back way so I wouldn't have to walk through the lobby crying in front of everyone. I also thought the euthanasia and the private cremation I wanted was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone needing a vet for their fur babies.

My dog Abby was having some issues with her skin and some other random symptoms that caused concern. I used to go to another vet and had a bad experience and was afraid to switch to a new place and admittingly waited too long but finally bit the bullet and tried out Geneva Vet. Dr.Miller is so thorough and understanding ! I have never received this level of professionalism and compassion from a vet before so we will definitely keep going. I even got a call late one night after hours from her just assuring me that Abby would be okay and she is on the path to recovery after her Lyme diagnosis and treatment plan . Definitely recommend!

We took our dog to dr Emily on Thursday to find out that she was extremely sick with metastatic cancer that led to lung lesions. She was so empathetic and caring not only to our baby but us as her parents.She passed away yesterday and last night dr Emily had called to give her condolences. I’ve never met a more empathetic vet! She deserves 10 medals!

I noticed my dog was having signs of a UTI or something more serious. I emailed GVC the situation at hand & I received a call back shortly after they opened. Appt. was made even though they were busy. We didn't have a current vet for Gizmo at this time. He was given a a new patient exam & his situation assessed. Further examination was made and req'd tests. Meds were prescribed and on hand. Overall from initial email to heading home it was a great experience from beginning to end. Receptionists called helped with initial paperwork, Vet tech was excellent in handling Gizmo and answered any questions and concerns. Dr. Miller was very thorough & helpful during the Q&A part of this stressful time. It was Tuesday, they're closed on Wednesday and they still got us in. Excellent vet and support staff. Thanks. You're Gizmo's vet .

I wish I could provide a zero star review. After making an appointment over a week in advance I called to see if anything other then a stool sample was required for my new puppy visit only to be told my appointment was never set, and if I “had” to come in I would have a 2 hour wait cause they would be “squeezing” me in. When I asked what happened to my appointment they said well we must have forgot to schedule it. I was then told they have a lot of customers and I should find another vet. If you are looking to become a new patient I recommend anywhere else.

This clinic truly saved our dog... Our puppy was attacked by another dog last month, and as we were driving around desperately trying to find a vet clinic to see her for an emergent eye procedure, all other clinics said they did not have any availability in their busy schedule. Despite having a full schedule that day, Geneva Vet Clinic promptly took us in, evaluated our puppy, and immediately performed the necessary procedure to save her eyesight. They were so caring, knowledgeable, and thorough in answering all of our questions, and we will be forever grateful for the care that we received at this clinic. Highly recommend!!

I am new to the area and chose Geneva Veterinary Clinic based upon reviews I had read and its close proximity to my new home. I couldn't have made a better choice. I had to make a very hard decision for my beloved dog and they were so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Was very professional. Except the receptionist when I checked my dog in she was very mean and rude. Talked to me with no respect and if she was mad about working late then maybe she needs a part time job.

I recently took my dog here due to a bad foot problem he was having. I have had many appointments here over the years and have never been late to a single one, but my dog and I walked in 8 minutes late to this one. We live 30 minutes away.I got two lectures about how long they were waiting for me and how they were about to turn me and my dog away. But every time I come to this vet, my dog and I are waiting at least 20 minutes to get into a room. There were times that I had to wait for over 45 minutes in my car with my dog.After the appointment was over, they had me sign a paper that said if I was 10 minutes late (which I was not) to any future appointments, that my spot would be given to another person. I signed it, but I wish I wouldn't have because of how hypocritical it all is.

Very friendly staff. Stray kitty, most likely dumped in my neighborhood had eye issue going on. They were able to get him in fairly fast. Another vet I've used for previous pets had a 4-6wk wait due to "new patient". Did not matter that animal was sick. Vet herself was very friendly. I'm certain I've found my new animal Dr.

From NC and brought my 12 wk old puppy with me to visit my mom. Puppy got an eye infection and we had no vet up here. Called Madison Vet and they recommended the emergency vet 1hr away with a $120 initial visit fee before any treatment. Called Geneva, and they got us an appointment within 1hr of calling and the people working the desk were phenomenal. Then, both veterinarians were super kind and helped us get treatment and then also flea and tick prevention as well. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

The staff was absolutely amazing. I had to have my cat put down, it was so horrible for me. The made it as easy as possible. The staff is amazing. Afterwards they called me to tell me they had her ashes. Also some of her fur that I had asked for. Plus extra paw prints. They all went way above and beyond. A couple of weeks later I received a sympathy card. Absolutely amazing veterinary clinic ❤️m❤️

We have two chocolate labs (7-1/2 and 1-1/2) and visited the Clinic the day before Thanksgiving for a regular health visit. The staff and technicians were professional and handled the social distancing and mask use with animal transfer in and out of the clinic with class. Dr. Miller spoke with us during the visit to discuss the dogs' health, active and preventative treatment and long term care. She was clear, concise, caring, compassionate and thorough. This is a pleasant surprise after switching from another clinic (that does not believe that ticks and pathogens like Lyme disease are not an issue in our region of Ohio (northeast). The dogs are healthy and happy in good hands. Thank you to Doc Curie, Dr. Miller and the entire team at Geneva Veterinary Clinic. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Emily, Danni and staff are amazing. Got me in as a new client to help our cat Mari . Was not overly priced and taking care of her and finding out what was wrong was what is important. We are very grateful for taking us in as a mew client when all are vet clinics would not and didn’t have appts available. They were also recommended by another Vet clinic in Geneva as well. Nothing but good things and gratitude.

I took my cat, Peanut, when he was lost a bunch of weight. The staff was very friendly. He had a #2 accident in his carrier. They took him back and cleaned it out and kept him a separate room until it was our turn. They were very gentle with him.We went back a month later because he was limping around and we discovered blood in his urine. After giving him an x ray, he had severely fractured his leg and with his other health problems and his age, they felt it was in his best interest to put him to sleep.They treated us very well with the process. They never rushed us out of the room (we did not leave until an hour after they officially closed). They let us have time to say good bye. The vet even took time to talk with my kids to explain to them why we had to let him go.We opted for a home burial and they brought him out to us through the parking lot and the vet tech gave me a hug before we left. Every member of the staff (including the receptionist) was wonderful with us. We even got a condolence card in the mail signed by everyone.

We became reluctant owners of a 4 - 6 week old kitten. We called Geneva Veterinary Clinic to have it checked out. Even though we were not previous customers, they were able to get our little stray in the very next day. He didn't have a name yet, but the staff treated him and us as a long standing customer. Since we now know the kitten is a male my 82 year mother-in-law has named him Cooper. We normally would have taken care of Cooper and found him a good family; however, my mother-in-law has decided we are his good family. Welcome to our family Cooper and we'll be switching your brother and sister over to Geneva Vet when their next needs come due.

So my little pug Louie was in an accident while attempting to trip giants that were doing a full sprint. Little Louie ended up with a limp after.I called Geneva Vet Clinic and they were able to get Louie in same day, even though we were new clients.They take very good covid 19 precautions everyone was masked and exchanges were performed on the porch 1 at a time and very brief. They conducted most of the customer service portion of thier job duties via telephone and were very polite and courtesy. I even had the option to pay via telephone. They also have an amazing app.Louie got x-rays and it was discovered he had a fractured femur. It wasn't nearly as expensive as Google thought it would be, half the price google said it would be in fact.I am very pleased with this clinic, we will be using them from now on.

We have been looking for a vet that will care for and treat ferrets. We are owners of 7 ferrets and foster 2. Our little smallest ferret who was 3, Kali needed to be out of pain. We are very thankful for the procedure used to do this by Dr. Miller and for the kindness that was shown to us and Kali. She was the best little girl. Most people don't realize ferrets are like any other pet and are just as important. I would recommend this clinic. Thank you again.

Dr. Miller and the staff are amazing. I was first there earlier this year with my, not yet one year old, Westie, Mosely. He was very sick and was in and out of our vet for 2 days but not getting better. Our vet was closed the next day, so I took him to see Dr. Miller. They got us in right away. Almost immediately, Dr. Miller thought Mosely was having an addisonian crisis. Not knowing what Addison's Disease was or not even have heard of it before, Dr. Miller educated me and advised me to rush him to the emergency specialist hospital. Since being in the hospital, my Mosely is doing amazing and continues to see Dr. Miller for continued care. She saved my babies life and I couldn't thank her and the staff enough.Also, I have senior Mah-lshi, Helo, and he was going in to get blood work for his upcoming dental cleaning, and she noticed his kidney levels were a little high, so now he's on a special diet. He's already feeling better and is more active since switching diets. I really can't thank her enough. Dr. Miller is very thorough in educating you, which I appreciate very much! I would definitely recommend her!

I love the caring for the fur babies ..I went to a different vet due to finding it to be a little cheaper.but what a bad mistake I made. I'm going back..the caring they show is so unbelievable the Dr will take time to call and talk to you to see how your fur baby is doing.i can't say how much they really care. all of them .you won't be disappointed coming here.they are so great

My cat Rufus was so sick. Took him to an after hours emergency vet but he was still sick. The vet we were seeing would not see Rufus that day even though he's been there many, many times. I was thinking of changing vets anyway as I had not been happy with the care Rufus had received in the past year or so. I called Geneva Veterinary Hospital and they got him in immediately. Dr. Miller and her staff are kind, patient, and take such good care of Rufus. He's elderly and has multiple health problems but I feel like thanks to Dr. Miller we have had more time with him. Fantastic clinic!
