Love this store. Ive been going there since 76. There were times back then when I would run out to Home Depot, Stambaughs or Lowes and not find what I wanted. Only to find out our neighborhood store had. I eventually started making them my first stop and saved alot of gas. It's a great family owned to just walk around in and come across thing of ma jigs I never knew existedGreat family business.

Friendly and helpful staff. They carry Benjamin Moore paint, which is the only paint we like to use. Couple awesome pinball machines you can play while you wait for your paint to be mixed.

An old fashioned hardware store where service comes first. When you walk into this store you feel like you've gone back in time with the real wood flooring and all the bins of nails, screws etc. And yet this store carries all the modern essentials from kitchenware, camping things to toys for the kids..I've gone to this store for years and the staff gives 110 percent. You're met with a greeting of "Is there something I can help you with today?" Today my daughter took in a broken plastic piece from her camper canopy that had broken. Although they didn't have that particular piece she needed, the dark haired young man took the pole and rigged up the pole to work better than ever!Whenever I need Christmas lights for our camper during the summer the guys will go into the downstairs storage and come back with exactly what I want. I love this place!!!

Always willing to answer your question and give helpful advice from folks who actually know what they're talking about. Location is in a old building that they've also turned the basement into a sales area. The floors creak on the first floor / street level which adds to the charm of the building. Family owned and operated. Very nice selection of products and if what you want is not in the store but at the warehouse, it will be shipped to the store free of charge.

The staff at Central Hardware are very knowledgeable and their inventory is surprisingly diverse. The result is a store where you can walk in with a broken part and vague idea of how to repair and walk out with knowledge and the right parts or tools. They are easy going about returns if you buy more then needed. Compared to the big box stores they are typically a little more expensive but but not always. The real savings is when you factor in the cost of your time and knowledge. Where-as Home Depot or Lowe's will typically take hour or longer to get a minor part and their associates have little to teach me. At Central I expect to be in and out in 10 minutes and am more knowledgeable after the visit.

Came here to buy ice melting salt that is safe for dogs. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have things that other hardware stores don't. I would recommend this store to everyone

The folks at Central hardware in Geneva, OH know their stuff, and they are extremely helpful. If they don't have what you're looking for they will go out of their way to try and get it. If that doesn't work, they will happily suggest a different retailer.I will happily pay more here than drive to Home Depot and save af ew dollars.Great service and great staff!
