I was visiting my niece, as she attends Hiram College. I love to go to used bookstores to find treasures, especially classic leather-bound books. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of books I could choose from. There was also a nice amount of used books of more modern literature. My niece and I had a nice conversation with (who I assume to be) the owner. She was knowledgeable about the area and the college. I will definitely visit again when I come visit.

The shop owner is so friendly and helpful. I have shopped here frequently after discovering it last year. Time spent here browsing among a huge selection of books is so peaceful and relaxing. I have made many purchases and look forward to future visits. This place is amazing.

The shop has so much charm, an impressive selection, great prices & sales, and the owner is incredible. It's very encouraging to see a safe space for LGBT+ folks in my home town

I love love love Ellen and her quaint bookstore. If you are a small bookstore lover, this place is for you. It's in the historic part of Garrettsville and the brick architecture just adds to the old world ambiance. There's an excellent selection of books for a great price and Ellen will go out of her way to help you find what you are searching for even if she doesn't have it in stock. There's also a really cool case of some older rare books behind the counter- fascinating stuff. Ellen not only has local author signings, but she also plays the harp in the store for special events! Books and harps, what more do you need??? Call before you go to see what her policies are during covid. She takes covid seriously, so you don't have to worry about your health when you are shopping for a great book!

Old and rustic, like stepping back in time with tons of books from all eras, some even 1800s, prices are very reasonable. If you can't find what their looking for, they can order it for you.
