I kept thinking "well I must have just got a bad one out of the bunch but after the 4th pack I bought that was no longer my thoughts on it. I even double checked after every purchase to make sure it wasn't outdated So buy at your own risk just saying

This is one of the NICEST IGA grocery stores that I've ever visited! Store was very clean, well stocked and organized! Employees were welcoming, friendly and helpful.... Employees can sure make a difference in customers' shopping experience! IGA is a bit more expensive than most grocery stores, but check out their weekly ads! #SatisfiedCustomer

It is nice having a grocery store in town, but the prices are crazy high Was at AlDI's earlier today and bought a 3 pack of peppers for 2.49, I was supposed to get 2 packs , run up to IGA the same 3 pack is now 7.29 WOW

This store is beyond racist!! Been silly enough to deal with it for the last 4 years but today that ends! And the owners are Indian so I’m sure they don’t know their employees tell us what we can and can’t buy as if I’m spending their money! I spend well over $1,000 a month in this store and that’s not even including my other family members who were shopping here! They don’t hiring people of color even though the hiring signs are still there years later! We will make that drive elsewhere from this point on!! This place workers ESPECIALLY the deli workers are disgusting !! 🤮

They're located just around the corner from us. The selection is pretty good, the prices are kind of high when compared to larger chains but that's kind of expected. They have the best chicken and Jo Jo's in the area, just try to call ahead because they sometimes run out.

I personally find it a little expensive but, the store & bathrooms especially clean. All workers are friendly & courteous. Knowledge of store & products. Will try to get certain products in if requested. That's why they remain my overall number one grocery store.

I only take a star away from IGA because its prices are pretty high in comparison to places around it, however it is a fantastic little grocery store with a great selection. They have ready to order food thats always good, a little bakery that is fantastic, and even some unique items on stock that you wouldnt expect from a small town grocery store. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well, i frequent this store quite a bit.

Only gave 4 stars because this little home town store brings back memories when I lived in garrettsville over 10 years ago! Nothing has changed and I loved this! First time I was in there in over 10 years and I still knew where everything was! This place is great if you don't drive and live in town. The prices are too high and selection is limited. If you need a few things this grocery store is perfect! Otherwise you'd have to drive quite a bit to get into town. I would never do my full grocery shopping here, but this place is perfect to grab some things in a pinch!!

An elderly handicapped friend went to this store to buy some beer for a card game tonight. He has a big gray beard, walks with a very prominent limp. The cashier carded him. (Now I buy beer there all the time, never carded). He said to the cashier are you really gonna make me walk to my car for my ID, that he is clearly over 21. She said yes. This cashier made a handicapped elderly man hobble out to his car to get his wallet. That was WRONG! And I wasn't gonna mention this.. but since my friend was wronged.. these people cut chicken breasts in half and call it 2 pieces. Never will I ever go there again.

It's very convenient and the staff is super friendly! Generally the prices are a little high, but for a small town grocery store, nothing outrageous. They still have great deals sometimes! It's not a huge overwhelming and crowded place, and I love that! You go in, get what you need without searching for a million years, and you're back home in a few minutes.

Way over priced. They take advantage of being one of the only grocery stores in the area. You can go in and buy 3 things and spend 30 bucks I go to save a lot or Walmart and get cart of groceries for 50 bucks

We get Chicken & Jojo's from the deli here & so far never had issues. We now call first because a few times during the pandemic they said they didn't cook after a certain time, etc. & they'll hold what we need if we're on our way. No issues and employees we've dealt with have been friendly.

Great small town store! The best meat around and MUCH cheaper than giant Eagle!! Great customer service, the butcher can be a little off (grouchy) but he does a good job on the meat selection. I will always support our small town business owners!

We dont have a grocery store in our town so we go to the next town over to shop. They have everything we are looking for and it is clean and a pleasure to shop. The workers are always nice and helpful. The check out clerks always let you know if you can use a coupon. Love shopping here

I've shopped there on and off for about 4 years now. This morning I stopped in to do a little shopping ,when I was finished I went to check out but the only register open was the express lane! So I noticed two or three cashiers standing there talking by the express register! So I went there to check out. When I walked up one of the cashiers tells me in a nasty tone" you can't be at this register with that many items"! "You have to go to register 3" ! So i walked my cart to register 3. Then a different cashier tells me that I shouldn't have been in the express lane and that's what theses registers are for!! So ,I tried to explain to her that I was sorry but the express lane was the only register open, and that register 3 was closed! She says in a nasty tone " thats because I'm not a cashier"! I'm never shopping there again!

Went to get money order 3 workers looked at me ignored me walked right by me? When I got money order lady with short sandy blonde hair put my change in the counter when I had my hand out, then to top the rudeness up more she did same thing with money order. What did I do besides wait 15 minutes for a 2 minute transaction I was not rude. Great meat

There is a certain type of Bush's baked beans that I use to make chili and the only place I can find them is in Garrettsville, 32 miles from where I live. The people who work here are always nice. Store is clean and brightly lit. Pleasant visit every time.

Over Priced Non Quality food. No other options for almost fresh food in good old small gville. Also the workers obviously hate the pay or the owner cause they act like they are to good to be there and treat customers like garbabge. Save a lot is much cheaper that is down the road.

Not much competition means higher prices. Not always the best looking fruits and vegetables either. Nice people work there and you can sometimes find things you won't find at the one other grocery store in garrettsville.

This is a smal town store with a good selection of grocery items and a deli and bakery department. The prices are competitive with other chains such as Giant Eagle. The meat department is high quality.

This is the worst excuse for a store you will ever see. Out dated food on the shelves. Previously frozen foods that aren't always marked as such so you get home with rotten meat.Not to mention moldy produce.I've been there for the last time. I'll drive to any other store to shop .

Hope they never go away, very good deals, best price on pork loin in a 15 mile radius, hand it to the butcher and they cut it without charging you anything any way you want and where can you call in the AM and make sure you doughnuts are MTO , ready and there ready for pickup / Well ya can here. This store they earn your business. They are also contributors to the areas food bank including coupons for free milk for those in the food bank program. They are a great supporter of the community.
