This location is always clean and stocked up!I have always chose to shop at this located vs closer locations that may not be as clean or have everything we need. Our cashier really made our night even though we hadn't had the best day !She was super polite and her bubbly personality made her line a joy to go through!Thank you so much Denise for uplifting my spirits tonight ❤️

MOLD!!!!!!!Every time I’ve gone into this kroger, I’ve always noticed bad smells when I open up the fridge doors. I’ve noticed mold in multiple spots (juice aisle, yogurt aisle), and I finally snapped a picture to post a review. This was last week (2/26/24) when I opened up the fridge to the yogurt section… you can clearly see there’s MOLD and other sanitary issues in there…. Be careful

I've gone to this kroger my whole childhood and never had an issue until today. I wanted to try the hot combos of wings they can make, there was a sign that that said the Deli was closed so I asked Kathy if it applied to that service too. The negative attitude started with how she asked to speak louder for her to hear, and continued throughout the ordering process. Another customer came up in the middle of this and Kathy had all smiles for them. I don't know what was different as a customer about me to Kathy compar3d to the other.

This location has has gone to $hit lately. There are never any carts in the store if you want one you have to back to the parking lot and grab one. And if you got there anytime after 6PM good luck! The close whatever they want when they want. Sometimes closing both self checkouts and having on checkout lane open with a line that is as long as two aisles. The store is not understaffed they continue to send everyone home too early there for a quick convenient shopping trip turns into and 45 minute to an hour waiting to be checked out. I would definitely suggest going to the Hilliard Rom location or Georgesville I don’t know if this location is privately owned or is corporate location but it’s a $hit show

This location - once a premier location - has become a pig sty!! I would NEVER step foot into this location after dark by myself!!! And it's NOT necessarily the area, as the area is well kept and growing! To top it off, upon exiting my vehicle (parked in handicap because I AM HANDICAP) I see a young (no older than 30, probably much younger) EMPLOYEE come waltzing out - NO NOTICABLE impairment of any kind, and PROMPTLY waltz up to his vehicle PARKED IN HANDICAP PARKING!!! Now as a handicapped individual I'm WELL AWARE that NOT ALL disabilities are visible; however, I ALSO KNOW that handicap placards are one of the MOST ABUSED ITEMS in history!!! Anyone capable of working a 6-8 hour shift, presumably standing and/or walking for most of it (I once worked in a grocery store so KNOW that 98% of all grocery jobs are PHYSICALLY TAXING), able to remember where they are parked after that length of time and COMPLETELY UNENCUMBERED briskly walk to their vehicle has NO BUSINESS having a handicapped placard!! Those devices are meant for those who have memory/cognitive issues, who are mobility impaired, etc!! And before someone spouts off about someone with epilepsy, etc. Anyone suffering from that is either EXTREMELY WELL controlled (medications) THEREFORE would NOT have a placard or ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE DRIVING!!!

The damned locking wheels on the carts! You can't walk in and find a cart without the wheels locked, and when you do, the wheels will lock when you leave the door. With a full basket of groceries and a case of water. Stupid idea.

Excellent grocery delivery, much better value than Amazon Fresh. Not much more expensive than going to get it yourself, highly recommend!

The staff at Kroger's discriminated against me because I am hard of hearing. I kept asking them to face me so I could hear them but they would not and I couldn't hear them. The older heavyset long grey haired woman supervising the check out machines made fun of me by trying to do deaf hand signing but she was making fun of me. Two of the employees only. I asked for her name and i.d. number the manager and the employees would not divulge their names so I could call corporate and recommend customer service re-training. Only the assistant manager female and the older lady that supervised the check out machines and made fun of me with the sign language mimicing were in appropriate. I could not hear the check out machine talking. I was sweating trying to get some food for myself. I was hungry. There was a bump and a crack inside the floor that I fell over so I hurt my toe and was limping. I couldn't find anything. The manager was so nice and helped me. When I had to check out I could not figure out the last item; a donut. The heavy set long grey haired lady was so mean and would not face me so I could hear her, as well as the female assistant manager that would not speak a little louder. Then my Navy Federal debit card didn't work she said. She said Kroger doesn't accept that debit card. but this was my 5th visit to Kroger's from West Virginia, Hebron Ohio, to Columbus Ohio. She stated "you haven't been here 5 times today!" I said from west Virg to here! so the lady took my food to save it while I went out to call the credit card company EDGE. All Kroger's are included! I already knew that. I got away from the staff went to another check out and did the purchase 100% by myself and it all went through except the donut and not hearing the machine talking to me I couldn't figure out how to do the donut. The asst manager came over and I proved to her my card is fine. I said can you now acknowledge that? If it was me iwould have apologized and encouraged my customer. I said "it's you that were wrong." She said "just take the ice and the donut free" I said no. I can't do that but thank you. They were loud and made a fool of a senior female widow loudly in public making fun of me by mimicing deaf signing language. Why do they discriminate? Haven't they been trained at Krogers? I served all during the covid in Florida where we had 10000 deaths the first month in Dade and Palm Beach counties. Ohio is where I was born. Ohio was a state to be proud of then. Now people are so mean and aggressive and rude to seniors like Kroger's employees are. The heavy set long grey haired older woman looked disheveled with dirty long hair and you are not supposed to have long dirty hair hanging over people's food products. She is on camera making fake sign language mimicing at me to humiliate a disabled senior widow. As a nurse during covid or any other time I would NEVER not use my customer service skills! Men with covid and Alzheimer's in the hospital have attacked me and other nurses but we would NEVER treat them unprofessionally because I am a professional! Why embarrass humiliate and be dishonest about my food card which worked fine until they started to "help" me with the donut which was by the way the best I have ever had including the famous Jupiter Donuts in Florida. I don't need this humiliation. Do you? Kroger's needs to retrain these older employees in customer service.

this Kroger is a mess. it needs an intervention. Easily the worst Kroger between Hilliard and Georgesville. The shelves are a mess. they run out of stuff easily. The last two remodels were horrible. I miss 2011. The workers are generally nice though.

Click list orders get delayed at the last second, when I am already on my way or there to pick it up. also the Starbucks employees go on break while there are customers actively waiting in line. lazy and horrible customer service.

Becoming one of the worse places to shop for groceries when they seriously are back with empty shelves again, never having anything I need in-stock period. Used to be a nice location to shop, but the empty shelves keep happening, business will be lost. Today was was yet another day shelves were severely empty when I went, even a lot of vegetables weren't even in-stock with that being unusual.

Kroger now has digital coupons for anyone with a Kroger plus card. Plus you'll start receiving customer best coupons. I got a family size box of Lucky Charms for free, picture below. Plus I got 5 boxes of cereal for 99¢,limit 5 per card. Plus I got Pepsi products,4 6 pack bottles for $8. Sale ends today. I saved over $60 in coupons. Try it out. Go to Kroger. This location has gone so down hill over the years. I've been a loyal Kroger shopper for decades. Tens of thousands of dollars spent between the Broad and Norton location and Galloway I'm sure. No more. I'm even going to change my pharmacy.

Last week I went grocery shopping and the teller messed up my order trying to void to items because I was using my health insurance card and it only coved certain items so it was only $15 dollars which I still would have bought with my 2nd order which was still waiting to be rung up however he completely screwed up the order which really had me baffled it was 2 items and he didn't stop there he then tried to do it another way by time he finished and mangers couldn't seem to figure it out I walked out of that store with nothing not 1 grocery and $240.00 dollars that still hasn't been returned to my card I have children and no one has contacted me or even shown a care in the world and I shop there all the time you would think that they would have more decency than that they could be given me a gift card to replace the cash or something but nothing and not a phone call to say sorry and they just looked at me and said there's nothing we can do but what am I suppose to do just sad service

I love this store, been coming here since I moved here last month June 15. I must say that the employees are very nice, welcoming and friendly. But there's this one manager that ALWAYS STARING at my daughters and I whenever we come into the store. I REALLY AND DON'T APPRECIATE THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT IT'S LIKE SHE THINK THAT WE DOING SOME UNDERHANDED PROFILING. To me it kind of DISCRIMINATION. BET, she don't watch the other customers in that manner. You should be careful how you Treat People cause you don't know who you are directing that type of behavior towards. It's happened too many times for my liking.Updated Review 9/7/2022:And then there's the man that prepares the Sushi, that STARES AT ME WAY WAY TO MUCH and it's really irritating to the point that I will never buy any Sushi from here as long as I'm in this area. Seriously thinking about shopping at another grocery where I feel comfortable. It's not a good thing to just STARE, LIKE SERIOUSLY!!! This store needs to do a lot better with some things.

Walk in and get a cart that doesn't move bc of an app. Then the coinstar machine can't count coins, but can send crypto. Then the self checkout lanes are down. Then the prices rang up are higher that what was displayed all over the store, which are actually only available on the app, not if you go to the store. Would love to just buy groceries and not get ripped off by a bunch of tech idiots

I’m reviewing this Kroger solely on their sushi. I went into the store to grab lunch not expecting to pick up any sushi. When I walked by the sushi display was perfect. The fish looked very fresh and I couldn’t pass it up. I still didn’t expect much, but then when I sat down to eat it and it was amazing. The fish was fresh and cold. It was beautifully put together. For grocery store sushi it blew me away and I hope the chef finds my review because it’s hats off to them. Amazing job!

Everytime I shop here...boxes all over the floor (tripping hazard for your customers). There are never enough cashiers...self checkouts constantly have bagging errors which require an associate to clear it.usually takes them 5 minutes to realize you need help cause they are too busy standing there talking to other associates...very inconvenient...if you want your customers to do a cashiers job don't have the register call out so many bagging errors. Grocery stores have changed for the worst after the plandemic...Go back to the old ways when it worked.

You should staff your pickup better. This is the third time my order that i placed WELL in advance was delayed multiple times and tonight was outright cancelled. I didnt even know about it being cancelled until I physically went there and the poor staff member came out empty handed. I also dont appreciate the wasted gas with how prices are having to come back TWICE today with nothing to show for it. Do better

What has happened to this Kroger in Galloway???? Used to b my store for all my grocery needs. NOT ANYMORE!! Dirty, unkept, seldom stocked shelves, very few employees working anywhere, always a forever wait for the 1 or 2 cash registers on a Friday morning. Pallets & pallets of stock EVERYWHERE. Hard enough to maneuver around the on-line shopper carts, but every aisle has stock sitting. Even see ppl pulling stock from the boxes on the floor to purchase! And the bagger there don't know how to bag cold stuff together!! I have went to several other Kroger stores recently & have been amazed at how well run THEY are, yet Galloway Kroger is disgusting!!! Not a shopper at this location anymore!!! Get it together, looks like I'm not the only one sick of it!!

This store was great when we first started going but has dropped off significantly! The employees are wonderful but the management is subpar at best. They are rude to the employees working, rude to customers, will spend time standing around in a circle while the employees run ragged and lines stretch so long they're reaching the back of the store. Their ordering is iffy as they are regularly out of items. Meat Dept is often out of what you came for but can say when they have stock their meat is great!
