Stayed one night in room 217 last week. Pretty great. Like, seriously, the only issue was one short wall on the far side of the shower wasn't quite at 90 degrees with the adjacent walls, and had wrinkled wallpaper at the bottom. Everything was clean, slightly luxurious, and no signs of bedbugs or other infestations. Even the inside of the microwave was squeaky clean. Kudos to the housekeeping!Nearby activities: Mothman museum

I have to say I was beginning to get disappointed at Hilton properties because of hit or miss experiences as their various properties. I normally prefer to stay at Hilton properties for both work and leisure. I travel quite frequently because of work. This is my second week staying here and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Everyone, and I mean every employee, cleaning staff, front desk people. Everyone is so nice and accommodating. Felt like I was staying in a Bed and breakfast because I felt so at home and put at ease. Both weekly visits I got turn down service everyday without me having to ask. Front desk staff when out of there to share treats with all the guest. The property both inside and outside has been kept very clean. I can tell the employees here take pride in their work. It's evident. As a woman I also felt very safe. And I was even able to use the keyless check-in. I got to pick the room. Even when I got in super late from flight like after midnight the front desk people saw that I was hungry and thirsty and offered me some concessions. Very nice of them. They didn't have to do that. Overall, I have more confidence now in Hilton if they continue to have properties like this one. I've already told all my coworkers who also travel to stay here if they come into town. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant and relaxing. Also the hot tub is actually hot and the bubbles timer thing works lol. That may not seem like I big deal but I love hot tubs and pool. I normally will pick a hotel if they have both indoors. I will stay here again whenever I'm sent back out here. Thank you truly.Rooms: Very clean rooms. Everything works. Newer facility with a friendly staff on the Ohio side of the river. Short distance to Point Pleasant. Clean rooms and decent breakfast with waffles, sausage, biscuits and eggs. Coffee and hot tea available 24/7. Includes indoor swimming pool. There is a microwave, fridge and one cup coffee maker in the room (not Keurig). Would stay here again.

As soon as we arrived, we saw warnings on the door that there was no water. I fully understand it was a city municipality issue, but I feel a call or email was warranted for those coming to check-in. After traveling all day, we can not use the restroom or shower. That was frustrating and almost led to us leaving for a competitor down the road that had running water. We went to the store to get some gallons of water and as we got back the water pressure issue had been remedied by the city. The staff was friendly as can be in a stressful situation. Breakfast was decent as well.

The rooms were adequate in size and amenities. However, we have a very allergy prone family and the bathroom did not have a vent for steam. Mold spots were alone the crease between the ceiling and walls and there was one small spot on the bedding that looked to either be mold or ink. I was not willing to get close enough to check. That being said, the beds themselves were clean, the room and fridge were clean, and the rest of the bathroom was also clean. Staff were incredibly hospitable and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Best we had our entire trip. Food was fresh, top quality, and plenty to go around. Would absolutely stay again so long as the mold issue is addressed. (See Room 221 bathroom for reference of mold.)Noteworthy details: The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the best we had our entire trip.

This is a very nice hotel to stay in if you're in the area. It's very clean and has sufficient amenities. The staff are the stars since they all are very polite, friendly, and helpful. We've stayed here several times and would definitely book again. The only reason location didn't get 5 stars is there's not much around for dining (but, Gallipolis is rather small).

So affordable even with $50 dog fee. Clean! Quiet! Lots of choice for breakfast including waffle maker, eggs, crock pot oatmeal, many juices. Fresh fruit and yogurt. Bagels, toast, and sweet breads. Very clean eating area.Saltwater pool and hot tub. So clean and refreshing! Clean, quiet rooms.Pleasant experience.I just reread my posts. This Hampton Inn is more affordable and every bit as clean and hospitable than the one in Bowling Green, KY.
