I love the face lift they finally gave the store here in gallon but as seen in photo who put the new sign right on top of the old none painted area the old sign was in. Like why who does that. The new sign can't even be seen until night time barely. This could have been very nice.

This is an odd store. I went in the other day and a conspiracy theory podcast was playing over the speaker and the cashier tried talking to me about politics and clearly made the lady behind me really uncomfortable.

I'm to the point where I'm no longer going to shop at this location. One of the cashier's (I don't know what her name is) is extremely rude. Literally says nothing and has a sour look on her face. No hello, no have a nice day. Nothing. I'm honestly floored every time I go in there and she still has a job.

The employees were helpful, friendly and attentive. You do have to be careful about the prices. Some items aren't that much of a deal. Know how much items are at your regular grocery store before you go here to get the best deals. Selection isn't that good, but it's worth the trip.

The Store advertised ⁸a 3 day sale on T bone Steaks and Pork Ribs. I went on day 2 nothing was availableThey had Ribeye but they had a whole lot of fat on them. The Staff was very rude. I say don't waste your time in this Store⁶

Helpful low prices. Everyone wears masks. Good sales. Sometimes they don't have enough employees so checkout lines can be long. Don't shop on Sundays because they don't seem to have anyone stocking shelves on weekends and they are consistently out of things by Sunday evening. Otherwise, I like this store very much.

Had a good experience. Got in and out without any issues. Randy was quick and friendly like always. A lot of empty boxes laying on the floor,which blocked one aisle,but the store was being stocked and the employees were busy.

The quarter machine carts are ridiculous, and I think the only reason anyone would steal a cart is because you have to PAY to bag your groceries. Selection is small, but not too terrible. The only good thing I can say is that the employees are generally nice, and I feel bad that they have to deal with the angry customers that corporate leaves them with.

UPDATE: Competition (from Buehler's opening in Galion) brings positive changes, and another star! The staffing situation, mentioned in my original review below, seems to have been resolved. The shelves are well-stocked, the aisles are mostly clear, the lines are short, and the prices continue to be great. Save a Lot is back on our list of FIRST stores to shop. :) 5-9-2022This is a much-needed, much-appreciated grocery store for Crawford county. The sad thing is that they tend to run short-staffed (by upper management, I'd wager) for the volume of business they do. Get there earlier in the day for full-stocked shelves.That having been said, they have really good, inexpensive meat and produce. The store brands are decent quality, and the service is friendly, especially if you put in a kind word for their hard work.

Excellent place to buy lower cost substitutes of brand name products. Their lower price items are still really good quality. They could improve customer satisfaction by having more then one check out lane open.

This place can be best described as outdated, and for that I give 3 stars.Parking lot and facility is run down, it sits so far back in the lot between two derelict buiness chains in some form of mall chain. Watch for potholes.Food quality for vegetables are pushing dates, meat quality seems okAfter all never had a bad experience here with the staff.Good place to get groceries local.

No restrooms for disabled people. Cashier was rude, acted like she didn't want to be there, and just thru the food in the cart not caring if she damaged anything. Will not go back

My first time grocery shopping here I was surprised.everything I bought was nicely priced,nice selection and variety.it surprised me at what they had.i liked shopping here.anybody who's a first time shopper here or never shopped here I encourage them to check this place out. Its a beautiful and clean and organized store.i can tell that they remodeled the store a little bit and made the store look better.the staff were also wonderful,caring and so helpful and a good personalities. I'm looking forward to shopping here again.

As the only grocery store in town,Save-A-Lot has been a great place to shop when I don't have the motivation to drive to Kroger in Lexington! This Save-A-Lot location is pretty well run,friendly cashiers/associates,and a good variety of foods to choose from;and at a low price!!

Decent grocer with low prices. Their parking lot has recently been seen to so it’s much easier to navigate. They have low prices throughout their inventory and specials each week. A great shopping experience for Galion.

When elderly ppl have to stand out in the elements trying to pay for a cart I have to rate it one star. E1 can say what they want about seniors having other options but the bottom line is sometimes they have to go out when they can. The storm hit here a bit earlier than expected and these ppl were froze and soaked by the time they got inside. Then they had to go thru the whole covid thing w washing their own cart and wearing masks... I was surprised to see so many out. Even more surprised to see the indifference shown by this store and others w pay carts. The use of a cart should be free for customers.
