This particular location needs some work. The front door has been in rough shape for a couple months and the store inside is cluttered and messy. But it's a Dollar General. If you're the nine out of ten people that just need to drop in and grab a couple things, it will do just fine. It's possible they're like a lot of stores and are just short staffed.

This store is disgusting! It is cluttered and hard to navigate because of all of the unstocked carts of product. Disgusting and stock seems to be a going trend in all of the DG stores. I think the corporation needs new management across the board.The pictures above ARE NOT from the PWN Galion OH store.

Always crowded aisles usually packed and stuff everywhere but the employees are willing to help you and its close to my house so i go once in a while to get some stuff that's inexpensive .. its better to go in the am hours fyi.

Nice convenient store for quick shopping needs. Means I don’t have to travel into Ontario or Mansfield. The selection is varied well with a wide range of choices, however it is limited on soft drinks. The store is kept up well despite narrow aisles. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, a good experience for me.

Was just in this store and stood at the counter for 5 minutes while the cashier stood there on his phone. After i asked if i can get checked out he looked at me and said oh i didnt even see you there... Come on ppl its not hard to do this job.. Maybe try training the workers to do there jobs and. And stay off there phones while at work

Not even one star worth. There was ice cream sitting out melted. You couldn't get through the isles. There was open rappers everywhere. They need to fix it that's gross

Its just as good as the 💵 store on the east end , courteous and helpful employees. If you frequent the dollar stores then you know what they carry and they generally have what you need. Anymore the dollar stores carry a little bit of almost everything, they're almost like a mini Walmart with great prices.

The shelves have been and still are bare! Selection of products is a joke! The cashier has the audacity to ask if we found everything ok, I told her no we did not and now have to go to the other dollar general in town, and she stated that she apologized but they're just so busy and management cut their hours so they cannot get to unloading the truck merchandise! Who runs this place? This is unacceptable!

The store manager Tony is a great guy.And good leader of his people. He makes you feel like family.I used to go to the other store that he managed.I still do.But I'd rather shop where he is.., Sincerely.Eddie King 🤴

It is a dollar general and has the same prices which is nice. The down side is that the parking is essentially nonexistent and the store is small and cluttered feeling. The staff is friendly and check out times are fast. The store is otherwise clean. I definitely prefer the one across town.

The store was so piled up with unpacked boxes that it was super difficult to manipulate through. I was on crutches which made it almost impossible to get through the store BC of all the boxes everywhere. I saw other people struggling to get around boxes also. Wasn't even enough room to turn the cart around. It felt very dangerous. The staff were helpful when I asked where an item was located.

I'm a grateful customer here,the staff have always gone above and beyond to help me with my groceries.whatever I needed they had and a nice price for it.i always enjoy and love shopping here.their items are a good selection and variety.most of my groceries I buy is usually at this store.if this store had a competitor I would say it's drug mart.depending on the items and the sales this store would beat drug mart.the staff have always been a big help to me,letting me pick their brains about items and what I use them for.i love the staff's performance and personalities they are 1 of a kind and very unique.and I'm grateful for their friendship with me

Because corporate office does not give the stores up to date computer/register systems the employees/management can not take coupons even though they are absolutely correct for the item. Dollar General corporate punishes cashiers/managers for over riding the sale to make item/coupon correct. Never do they reward cashiers/managers for making a customer happy. It seems to me that's what it's all about, happy customers will return. Jackie Davidson. One store was in Galion and the other was in Crestline. Going shopping in Mansfield tomorrow, will see how their Dollar General's do.

I'm a grateful customer,I love shopping at the one in galion,they always have what I need and at a nice price,the manager and staff are so thoughtful,caring,helpful and respectful and I love picking their brains about anything and they all have a personality that i get a real kick out of.pretty much I name it,they have it.I very strongly recommend everybody to shop there.I'm grateful I do,and I'm grateful for the store being there.don't be afraid to shop and look around,you'll be surprised or shocked at what they have and nicely priced.over the many years I've shopped there all the staff have gone above and beyond to help me out with all of my needs.the staff and i love respectfully teasing each other.

Too crowded and always tore up. Only one cashier until the line reached midway in to the store. The staff was friendly. Uncomfortable using cane in aisles,tripping hazzards. The staff needed help keeping up.

Hometown original. So much stuff packed into a store. A good and bad thing all at once. If you need it they have it though. Oldest location in town but still a great store I'd recommend to anyone who needs anything

I am always reluctant to visit this locale, as the line often extends to the store's halfway point. In the meantime, the manager typically stands staring into space. Jump in an fire-up that register Mrs. Manager.With the traffic from nearby Geyer and Dollar Tree, I would go to the east side store.

Everything is crammed in there, not much room to maneuver around. Fell several times tripping over stuff all over the place. Finally just left and went to Walmart.

Good value.Low prices.They have little bit of everything, from grocery to cleaning supplies.They even have some tools and auto supplies at an affordable price.Good place to shop on a tight budget.
