I have been a client there for 23 years & feel BWACC has evolved to become an even better veterinary facility. Yes, they have the up to date technology, equipment & knowledge but they have outstanding staff, vets, techs, groomers & all. I feel like they are family & vice versa. They are also quite flexible when there extenuating circumstances. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. 👍

Love this place and their vets. Dr. Hirsch is kind and considerate and truly cares about your pups. I also did an tour of their boarding facility - I did it on the spur of the moment - I wanted to see how the facility looked with no preparation on their part. I was very impressed. Clean, spacious, and friendly care takers. I will be boarding my pups there in the future.

My very anxious dog stayed here for 9 days in the boarding center. We provided food, bowls, comfort items, and her *as needed* medication. Instead of providing her with said items, they used the maximum dosage of her medication as often as possible. She is now incredibly lethargic, and we suspect that she's also dehydrated as she is scared of the metal bowls (which is why we provided our own...)She came back skinnier, and this also happened to the other dogs at the facility (We met a boxer that came and left the same days she did and we could see his ribs by the time he went home.)This is all without mentioning the upcharge for the basic right to be a dog and go outside... Do not go here.EDIT: I forgot to mention, I was not made aware of her taking any medication, until I counted how many pills were left until I got home. They claimed she was "doing great and adjusting well!"

We've been taking both of our rescue pups here for several years and have been so happy with their care. They also took amazing care of my husband's cat when he developed a brain tumor and were so patient in helping us figure out the best course of treatment. Love them!

I have been taking my dogs and now cat here since 1999. I love the care and treatment they always receive. Very professional, friendly and caring with a great staff and veterinarians on hand.Rocky absolutely loves Big Walnut Animal Care Center. I've never had a dog happy to enter a veterinary hospital like Rocky. He is very comfortable with the staff. He loves it here and I love that he loves it here!!!

I've been going to Big Walnut Animal Care Center since it opened in 2003. Everyone, doctors and staff, have consistently been friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They know my dogs' by name and always show them extra attention.Dr. Hurst is a wonderful person and an amazing vet. She takes the time to explain my dogs' health needs and offers alternative treatments. She's personable and sympathetic. I highly recommend her.

We have been going to Big Walnut Animal Care Center for about 5 years now and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a wonderful staff and doctors and who are compassionate and caring. Our son recommended Big Walnut to us and I am so happy to say that we have complete faith in the doctor we see. Our kitty is under the care of Dr. Hurst and she is fantastic!! Takes time to answer all questions and never have to wait long to see her. It's a beautiful facility and very clean and up-to-date. I can't say enough good things about the Center. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good, caring place to take their pets.

I love Big Walnut Animal Care Center. I've been taking my dogs to them for 16 years and tell anyone who'll listen how wonderful they are. The convenience they offer is incredible: vet services, grooming, do-it-yourself grooming stations, boarding. There's no faxing around records so your dog can get a bath. When I go on vacation, it is such a huge relief to know that if they get sick, they're already at the vet!! My old dog is extremely picky about who he likes and he loves his groomer there. That's as good of a character reference as you can get.

Just moved to the area, and we had a really good vet before we moved and I was worried we would not find a vet just like we had. We had tried one other office and it just wasn't the same, we are very happy with Big Walnut Animal Care Center, they are almost the same office. they have the same invoices, which I really like cause it gives you all the information you need on them. They seem to really care and that is important to us.

Just went I for our annual check-up appointment for our Bernese Mountain Dog On 1/13/17. Another super visit with our vet, who always seems to be in an upbeat mood, with just the right amount big care band attention for our big boy. Facility is always clean, bright and welcoming and does a great job boarding our boy, whenever needed. Recommended!!

I've been taking my cat to this clinic for about 6 years, and am VERY happy with their service. It's a comfortable place for both me and Sassy, the staff are all very gentle, caring folks, and they've taken excellent care of Sassy's needs. Unlike some places I've taken her to in recent years, they don't pressure me to do things which are not entirely necessary and which are very expensive, there's no arm-twisting or guilt-tripping. However, if something really is important, they explain that clearly and why. I couldn't ask for more from a veterinary clinic.

Love the staff here, everyone is so friendly. My dog and 2 cats had to stay here for a month & I was allowed to visit them whenever I wanted and even take my dog out for walks. I highly recommend this kennel to anyone. Your pet will be loved and well taken care of.

I have three dogs who I take to Big Walnut Animal Care Center. Last fall Dr. Gonzales took great care of my lab Sampson. I had brought him in suspecting kennel cough, but Dr. Gonzales thought it might be something else and after thoroughly examining him diagnosed him with a lung infection and probably saved his life. I appreciate the personal touches that the staff use with the animals. They are very kind and professional. None of my animals ever have any issues being seen at this office.
