Well staffed, but not well stocked. Favorites are always out of stock (Coffee Mate Sugar Free Hazelnut creamer is constantly empty amongst a full shelf of creamer but more is never ordered, there's only ever a few available if any). A lot of favorites completely went away. The staff keeps things running fast through the checkout and are very nice, always. But the store could use some cleanup, example in the chip aisle (photo attached). It would also make the community look nicer if they rented a power washer and cleaned the side of the building that currently looks like it was next to a factory burning coal or something. They need to put a sign up in the aisle on Sundays about not selling alcohol until noon, it would help. It's the only close place to shop for groceries or else I think a lot of people might choose a different store, but little improvements like cleaning up could really elevate this place to 4 or 5 stars. I do appreciate the staff and think they work hard, so maybe additional staff is just needed or a new strategy from the owners.

Nice atmosphere; not one of the newer remodeled stores. It’s a rather smaller store so you may not find all of the same products as other locations.However, this location did have a nice freezer section by the bakery. I was able to snag a couple of these gluten-free pumpkin spice donuts by Katz and they were so super good!

My mom and I have been coming to this giant eagle for over 25 years now. I love the morning cashiers very friendly however the cashier's in the evening (young boys) have no customer service skills whatsoever! Yesterday Adain was our cashier couldnt even say hello. my mom and I came in we had separate orders she put the yellow bar down to separate them. Adain moves the bar before he was done ringing my things up and my mom said oh this is separate, He said I know in a very rude manner.. Next we had what we thought was a coupon but apparently not.. He said it doesn't have a bar code I can't scan this. I said well can you get someone who knows what to do we got it here... he rolled his eyes with attitude picked up the phone to call his manager over, which she wasn't very helpful either. Needless to say this is not the first rude interaction with the evening staff lately . Oh and what happened to cashiers putting your groceries in the cart or asking if you need help out... I normally do not do reviews good or bad but this has happened on multiple occasions now.

I came to shop at giant eagle today and what a pleasant experience. The isles are so nice and clean and wide. The lady that checked me out was so friendly and the lady working next to her help me take the food out of my cart. They asked me if I needed any help going out and I told him I did not. Then when I was leaving another gentleman coming in with the carts he asked me if I needed help. I found everything I wanted , The whole shopping trip was very nice.

Very nice grocery store I go to every couple weeks with my mom. Selection and store goods are nice. Prices the norm for all the grocery stores, high! Most of the cashiers are very friendly. Just a few could use a smile on their face. But overall a great place to shop and to grab some hot chicken and pot pies.

I like Giant Eagle, but it's on the expensive side when compared to other places. Where I live, it's the only grocery store in my town unless I want to drive 10-12 mins instead of 2. The one in Canton is better and bigger.

Sadly, some areas seem to not been cleaned in years!!! The window to the right of the entrance looks like it is full of black mold. The entrance carpet is extremely worn and filthy!This store needs to attend to these issues! I will not be back.

This giant eagle went through some ownership changes a couple years ago and it was for the better! Parking lot got fixed. The store is cleaner and the employees seem much more happy. They have many more products and new products that never used to be there. The store is much much better an I actually go in here a lot now for groceries if I don't feel like going to the strip or walmart. Great improvements on the store and moral

Expensive!!!! Can only buy what's on sale. Steak was not cooked to perfection. They gave us honey butter for our potatoes.. weird...I felt like the waitress was annoyed by me too

Very rude staff, dirty, unmaintained store. I typically avoid this store as other Giant Eagles offer fresher food and a better selection, however I went in today because I was in the area. Store is dirty, dumpy, nothing is stocked and when I asked the staff why things weren’t stocked I was met with attitude and a cashier who threw her hands up and didn’t say a word. No one offered to help me find what I needed or check for the non stocked items. If I wouldn’t have asked a question no staff would’ve spoken to me they were all on their phones or talking amongst themselves. Won’t return.

I will always recommend giant eagle bakery. Though this giant eagle is smaller than others they always have the essentially for a weeknight dinner. Everything is always fresh. Workers are also very kind every time I’m in there.

It's ok. No complaints at all, but can't say it stands out. Cashiers are always pleasant and efficient, store is clean and well stocked. Selections are more limited than other newer, larger Giant Eagles (such as on The Strip or the Market District in Green), but I've never not been able to find something that would work for what I need, even if it's not exactly what I wanted when I left the house.

I always get fresh fruits and vegetables. Great donuts. I love they have the Soy Silk Milk's and Other brands too. Their 5/ $19.99 section is great for a couple. Or singles. For casserole dishes it's a great idea as well. Pizza night with the huge amount of pepperoni you can get, would be great plus they have ham right there. I hope this was Helpful!!

Very dissatisfied. Staff not friendly or helpful. Presented with an issue and it was explained. And solved with a different purchase and I was met with attitude from 3 different employees including a manager and was not thanked for my time or patience or spending money in their store. I thanked them and told them to have a nice day and still had silence walking out of the store. I won't be back and I will be letting everyone know to avoid this store. I couldn't imagine treating people this way who give your store business

Store always does great. Always hard to keep things in stock. Employee's are the best! I don't like that today a lot of people were not following the arrows and a few with no mask.

Getting tired of this place constantly shoving the plan-demic down my throat through means of signs on doors, all workers wearing face diapers that are proven not to protect anyone from anything except maybe dust which is what they're intended for and constant announcements over the PA system. 👎 Makes for an uncomfortable and annoying shopping experience.

i must say store is looking great much cleaner. this past trip was on the 18th though i was impressed with 2 of the cashiers working. one a young woman and the other was a man prob about 30. what i really liked is how she wrote in a black marker on my giftcards and neatly put them in a bag for me. i know that doesnt sound like much but i had several cards and it was really thoughtful to me. the gentleman came around said hello to me and pulled my cubes of pop out and picked them up for the cashier to scan and said to her these are heavy and "i dont want you to hurt your back again". like i said a gentleman. she handed me my receipt told me to have a nice day. i did not get his name but i kept my receipt and it said her name is kaylin. these two worked realy well together but also humanized me and made me feel like more than just a customer. i hope to get service like this in the future.

This is a nice smaller Giant Eagle in a rural community. The layout is very thoughtful and there is a good meat department and bakery and beverage center.

I bought a watermelon at the strip yesterday for $8.99 but it was bad. I decided to return the watermelon at canal fulton location, since it's closer to my house. When I got there, nobody was at the customer service counter. The cashier kept yelling for Nathan, but he didn't show up. So the cashier stepped up and was very helpful. I get home and cut the new watermelon in half, and it also ended up being bad. (I guess I'm bad at picking watermelons) So I take it right back to the canal location, and Nathan was there. I explained to him what happened, and he was VERY RUDE. He told me to take it back to the strip, and that its not his problem. He also said the Store Manger Rick, had advised him to tell customers they can't take back store returns. Because they are an independent store. I literally had receipt of purchase and product in my hands. This guy should not be in customer service or in any form of management. You should never treat customers this way.
