Absolutely worth the 1.5 hour drive from Columbus. The beer is so smooth and the staff is incredible. Even the people just there were so nice. They make great beer and it’s a lot of fun to visit!

What a cool and different brewery. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon in early November. It was unseasonably warm and the brewery was fairly busy. The beers were good the people working there seemed very friendly. I saw something at this brewery I had never even heard of so I had to try it. It’s an old German tradition of sticking a hot piece of metal into your beer. It caramelizes the sugars in the Bock beer and creates a large foamy head that tastes like a toasted marshmallow. Very cool and tasty. If you’re in the area this brewery is definitely worth a visit.

Enjoy my time here with the nice, laid-back feel of the place. Kinda like visiting a relative's house that brews some great beers. Definitely recommend the Rye Dunkel if they have it on or in the to go. A highlight for me outside of the beers was the three pups that are hanging around property made for a great relaxing afternoon.

Really unique venue with actual wooly pigs. Small facility but definitely makes up with tons of extra outdoors and enclosed seating. Great traditional German style beers with their own twist.

Great place to sample some brews. Lots to choose from and very tasty. We got a flight so we could try a handful. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers and the history of the place. They also offered pulled pork and brats with kraut that was provided by a food truck. The food trucks change every week. Have to check it out. We will be back.

Legit craft brewery on a wonderful old farm. Great day trip into Coshocton County... Pick up some cheese from Pearl Valley and make it an afternoon. This place is an Ohio Gem

This is my kind of place.Traditional German beers and a family that loves brewing beer.If you love craft beer, or beer in general this place is a must visit.Their beer is sourced from a natural spring on the property. Between the brewery and the old farmhouse there are 12 varieties of hops on the property They grow their own products and are completely self-sustain. They have been around for about 5 years.Their beers are unfiltered which gives you the best flavor. Helles, pilsner, dunkel, those are the true staple beers. They have a very nice rotation of beers. They also have seasonal beers and for those who like sours, and the fruity beers they carry those also. They do not have a kitchen on location, but during the warmer months there is always a food truck on the property. Anywhere from barbecue to tacos, to you name it. They are pet friendly if your pet is well behaved.A flight of beer runs roughly $10 depending on what you are tasting. They also bottle their own beer to take on the road. The actual bar itself is very unique. Everything is handcrafted on property by a back blacksmith and a carpenter. It is a very clean facility. Great for drinking alone or bringing a group of people and hanging out for the day.Stop on by and throw a few back.

Was on a road trip and passed this brewery. Had to turn around to check it out. 100% so glad we did. They have a very nice place. The outside has tons of room with a patio and a handful personal huts. The beer was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. If I am ever back that way I will be stopping back in for the brew and to see the wooly pigs.

We’ve been on the road for 11 days, I think. left Austin drove to Rhode Island, and back, we’re house hunting. I’m sick of Texas. We try to make it an adventure. We stop at the most random places during our travels. We travel for the local pub n grub. The pigs here, well, they get everyone’s attention. You have to stop. The beer was actually very good. I had to buy a tshirt. We got to talk to the gals mashing paw paw for the next beer. Thank you all for such kindness. Hope that quince grows some fabulous fruit. We just happened to be from Fresno California, just had to say, I ♥️ your Fresno more

Beers I tried were good but a little off per style. Beers are served in a beautiful glass and prices are fair. No food options but there was a food truck. I thought 8 $ for a empty howler was steep but fill prices were fair. Overall I enjoyed the scenery, beer, service, and atmosphere. I would recommend trying if your in the area and are a beer connoisseur

A beautiful farm brewery which provides the perfect place to spend a day with friends and family. We finally made it here for this year's May festival, which was lovely. My toddler enjoyed every moment. The beer was delicious (as it always is).

Hands down one of the best breweries we’ve ever been to. Solid beer selection, friendly people, and the atmosphere is relaxing and memorable. Can’t beat the massive wooly pigs, too!

I was surprised with the amount of taps they have for being such a small place. A lot of classic, rustic German lagers that are very well done, but there are some beers with a more modern spin to round out the selection (a couple fruited, a gose, an IPL).There's lots of outdoor space, long tables, a fire pit and some games. Would definitely be family friendly during the warmer seasons. The inside is quite small so kids would have to be very well behaved. The 4 packs bottles ($10.99) have the best aesthetic of anyone in Ohio. Such a great look. This tiny brewery has their style and personality nailed down.

Phenomenal! We visit alot of Ohio Breweries and this is in our top 2! Excellent beers! We tried all 12 and liked or loved every one! Bought a growler of Peaches and Cream & a pound of bacon (a delicacy in Hungry) for the road. Friendly knowledgeable owners. Almost everything is recycled from the farm to the brewery and visa versa. Brilliant concept!

We discovered Wooly Pig Farm Brewery on Harvest Hosts. We had a great start to our 2022 camping adventures at Wooly Pig Farm Brewery! HIGHLY recommend!! Easy in and out with plenty of room in the gravel lot for our 40’ rig.The beer is FANTASTIC. When we go to a brewery, I usually drink 2 of my 4 tasters in my flight. I loved all 4 and want to try more. They have food trucks some nights, so we went back Friday night for JD’s BBQ. They have a great set up for groups, especially with COVID, in the “oversized dog houses” per Wes…::aka micro cabins lol…,:for your group. And they even had heaters inside!Give them a try if you’re ever in the Coshocton, OH area.

This place was really enjoyable! My fiancé and I came here for a small afternoon getaway that included the Wooly Pig as the first stop. She had been here once previously, I had not.It really was a great place and a far different experience from most other breweries. Nestled right off the beaten path of SR36, this little hilltop brewery offers some really great brews! Seems like a mostly authentic German beer lineup, and man were they good!Having been to Germany once before, I’m always craving some authenticity when it comes to German beer styles. This was a delicious rendition! The grounds were cool and seemed like a great place to hang out and grab a few as well, with a nice little beer garden right out the front door. Can’t wait to make a trip back, Cheers!

Where to begin… very fortunate to be driving through and have the chance to enjoy The Wooly Pig. Not only is the atmosphere picturesque, rustic and laid back, but the beer doesn’t miss by any stretch.Whether you like sours, lagers, stouts, or traditional German beer - there is something for everyone here. The owners truly care and it shows in how they operate their business.Don’t miss this spot, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing road trip stop! A charming barn with a field of picnic tables next to a pig pen. The vibes are so country casual, and the service was excellent. The brewer and manager were happy to chat and consistently checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. I can’t wait to go back.
