My experience was incredible. Scott was an online sales rep that reached out and walked me through the entire process. I knew what I was looking for and I knew I needed something pet friendly. He wasn’t pushy at all. He explained everything so well and he was really funny. I had the most pleasant experience purchasing furniture. My husband and I are very excited. He did a phenomenal job. 10 stars is deserved!

We bought new appliances from Big Sandy during their President’s Day sale. We were very excited to get our purchase, however a few days later they contacted us to say they couldn’t get the refrigerator we purchased. They offered to give us the floor model and take off $300. While we were disappointed, we went to the store to look at the front of the fridge and agreed it looked in good shape with no damage, so we agreed. Our appliances arrived a couple of weeks later and the delivery process was a disaster. They took out our previous stove and busted the glass door of it in the driveway. Scratched the door of the new one bringing it in, dented the back of it installing it and then after all that told me they couldn’t hook it up because there wasn’t a 110 plug behind the stove. The electric issue wasn’t a problem. That wasn’t Big Sandy’s fault, however they should’ve left the old one in place if it wasn’t able to be installed. Again, the other one was destroyed at that point, so that was no longer a possibility. The man who was the “lead,” the driver, stayed outside on his phone and refused to bring in the refrigerator despite me taking every door off of my house for them to get it in. He took a picture of the back door for his records to say it couldn’t come through the door, but the door they could’ve gotten it through was the front door and there was enough room for them to get it through there. They packed up and left stating, “it’s already on the truck. You’ll have to reschedule.” Well guy, it never came off the truck in the first place. We contacted big sandy to reschedule drop off and sent the pictures of the scratches stove. We got no response about the stove so we went into the store. The delivery manager was apologetic and stated the drivers are not employed by big sandy. She gave us $100 gift certificate to big sandy which was a slap in the face since there is nothing you can buy for $100 at big sandy’s. She also said she would do what she could to make sure we got a different team to bring the refrigerator back. The day the fridge arrived, it was the same team and when they opened the truck, we noticed two dents on the front of the fridge. They tried not to bring it into the house again and I immediately contacted the delivery manager who stated they would replace the panels on the fridge and to go ahead and bring it in. They installed the fridge and my husband noticed scratches on the other two panels of the doors. He contacted Big Sandy who stated they would come back to replace the oven door, repair the dent on the stove, and replace the four panels in the fridge. When THE SAME TEAM returned to our house for the third time, they said they didn’t have any repairs scheduled for the oven/stove at all and they only replaced one panel on the fridge, leaving plastic around the edge all the way around it. If it weren’t for the fact that they destroyed our other oven and took our other dishwasher already, I would’ve returned the entire purchase. The whole experience has been a nightmare and I still have damaged property. I will never return to big sandy for any future purchases. It’s disappointing too because the reason we were so excited to buy from them was because the store is employee owned. I do have $100 gift card for sale though if anyone wants to purchase it.

Kitchen appliances (GE fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher) were purchased online. Service I’d give 5 stars. Appliances I haven’t used yet, as just received today.I received great service from Scott , the ‘virtual assistant’, over multiple days. He was very patient, helping me compare different brands, pros/cons, answering questions, helping me to make a decision. The Big Sandy website was behaving a bit flaky (being nice, I would have bailed if not for Scott, who also helped with invoicing).Delivery was on time. Appreciated the updates so I knew when to expect them. The guys delivering it were pros- navigating a challenging location with ease. They were professional, polite, careful not to track mud, etc.

I am most impressed with the whole process. I ordered on line and everything went so smoothly. My refrigerator was delivered today by 2 very courteous gentleman. The refrigerator was dented on the bottom drawer and they have assured me that the whole drawer will be replaced as soon as possible. I highly recommend Big Sandy. I will definitely go there for my next purchase. And I will tell my friends. Thank you Big Sandy.

Great selection and great prices! I found a similar couch at another store for twice the price and a 3-week lead time. I didn’t hesitate to order, especially when they have the couch I want in stock and available for delivery within 3 days! Excellent experience. We will definitely be back!

Every part of my experience was awesome! I looked at the physical store in Heath, Ohio and was impressed with the amazing selection and price range. I found what I wanted and elected to order online, which was a very easy process. Less than 10 minutes later my order and delivery date were confirmed. I also was able to take advantage of a great sale which allowed me to get a free loveseat! Big Sandy is the place for furniture!

We ordered two Flexsteel loveseats online. Anthony was our on-line sales person. He went above and beyond answering our questions and helping us complete the order. We set the delivery date a week later. We were given updates via Jenny during the delivery time frame. We were number 3 in the delivery schedule. CUSTOMER SERVICE is TERRIBLE ... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ...I have spent thousands of dollars at big sandy and until my recent 14000 purchase I have been happy.But now I am so frustrated. I leave messages at the store and at corporate and calls are not returned. This have been going on for about 6 months.I didn't get the discounts that they said I would receive, which was about 500 dollars.I paid 170 dollars for a cheap set of sheets and flat pillows. I wanted to return them ... unused just open box ... they won't let me return them because it's bedding but Kohls and Walmart takes bedding back.I said that I wanted a warranty on my TV but they forgot to add it so I went back to store and they said that I could still get it but I wouldn't be able to get my in store credit if I didn't use it even though it wasn't my fault. Manager said she would call corporate to see if they would let me still do it. ... that was months ago and still no word.I bought a 2000 dollar couch and the lumbar was broke and the cushions are not lined up with the other side. About 2 inches different. They fixed the lumbar but said they couldn't do anything about cushions, although the other guy said that he was going to add stuffing and reupholster the couch.Service will have came out 5 times in which my husband has to take a day off work. One of which they canceled because they said it was a 2 man job and they only scheduled one but it was only a one man job.My almost 3000 kitchenaid microwave oven combo hasn't worked since I got installed the end of December. We are now in April. They fixed one problem and then there was another problem and they said that we were eligible for a replacement. We paid someone else to install the first broken unit and now big sandy said we have to pay them to install the new unit.I'm sure that none of them would want any of these problems especially an oven that didn't work for about 3 months (that's before the dilemma of who should pay for the new install)Just so disappointed at the lack of customer service and that no one cares.

I called the store closest to us to see if they have the sleeper sofa we are interested in stock. The rep that I spoke with said yes, his system shows it in stock. I said great because I am driving 30 minutes and wasn't sure if I should bring our truck if we want to purchase. He gave me store hours . Drove to the store and attempted to purchase from the rep that I spoke to on the phone and he let me know that it is in-stock in their distribution center and could be at their store by the following week. Had a conversation with him about what 'in-stock' means and he argued with me, stating that my view of in stock is not everyone's view, and that it is in fact in-stock, at their distribution center. Went rounds with him about that and ended up leaving the store because I no longer wished to deal with him. Now, a week later, I purchased the sleeper sofa online because it is still the one that I wanted to purchase. My email confirmation doesn't give a date for pickup and tells me that a rep will contact me to set up pick up. I'm not sure why that can't just be an email to let me know when it is expected to get there. What are the chances that it will be the same rude rep who was in the store that day?

Sammy within the Gallipolis store was great and helped me narrow down my decision and shown me what would be best for me. He seemed very knowledgeable. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because of him. I went in with “I want a washer” and he explained what I really needed depending on what I wanted to wash, pet friendly, etc.

Employees weren’t unfriendly but were not very personable. I bought a TV online and within an hour they were messaging me wanting to know when I could pick it up.. I said it will have to be later this week. When I ordered it it indicated that it would be shipped to my local store but appariently it was in stock there so they were hounding me to hurry up and get it. I wouldn’t have anyone to help me get it out of my car for several days and I didn’t see what the hurry was but I went and picked it up a couple days later and after it was loaded in my car the guys that loaded it ask if I had been informed of the return police to which I said no I hadn’t. He said you have 3 days to return it in the original box. Wait, WHAT!? 3 days!! I probably won’t even have anyone to help me unload it for more than 3 days, what the heck kind of return policy is that!? So several days later when my son could come help me set it up, well guess what..the tv is way to big for the stand it has to set on and I needed a smaller tv but it’s past the 3 day return so now I’m stuck with it and have nowhere to put it. I ordered a smaller one from Amazon which is perfect and I have 30 days to return it if need be. Bottom line is, I wanted to buy local and all you local businesses are wining about everyone buying Amazon and other company’s like that, but what choice do we have if you can’t be competitive with them. I won’t order from Big Sandy again. Also Amazon delivers right to my door for free but I had to drive 20 miles and pick up my TV from Big Sandy. It’s a no brainer for me from now on!

I ordered a washer and dryer online and paid the delivery/haul away.I never received any update on delivery, except for an email that wants me to measure the doorway for my new bedroom.. of which I never ordered.I've made 4 phone calls to delivery, who seems to know nothing.I'm very sceptical that it will even be delivered.I will never order anything online from Big Sandy again.

I came into the store today to pay for my Electric range the I found on line. The lady at the counter helped me and was so friendly and helpful. I asked her if I could go look at it since I had only seen it on line and she told me sure! I went over to the appliances and an older lady sales associate came over and asked me if she could help me, I told her no that I was just looking at the stove I purchased already. She continued to stand with me the entire time I was looking at it. It made me feel uncomfortable and like I was going to steal someting. All I wanted to do was look at in person the stove I just purchased for 1500.00. If I was looking to buy she may have cost Big Sandy a sale. I would have gave you a 5 for the sales man on the phone that helped me and the lady at the counter . I am a long time customer of Big Sandy.

We currently have two recliners broken after having them for only 4 weeks. Trying to get a hold of someone from the corporate office but they will not return my phone calls.

I contacted the Reynoldsburg store about a item I saw online. The salesman advised that it wasn't in stock there and it would have to come from the warehouse and I would have to pay for delivery. Needless to say I called the Lancaster store and they verified they had the item there. I purchased my dryer online and picked it up .I will definitely buy from the Lancaster store again.Thanks for a good experience at the Lancaster location.

Horrible customer service. I placed a $5,000 order online. Then I received a call the following day from the corporate office that they are canceling the order and refunding me. The caller could not answer why, which really shocked me. My credit card company confirmed the charges went through fine, so it was something Big Sandy did. Even the local store was confused and could not give me any answers. Totally bizarre and unprofessional.

The online help was amazing! Within about 15 minutes the person helping me on the chat on the website found the washer we were looking for and the store that had it in stock and ready for pickup. We get to the Montgomery Rd Location and they were rude, didn't talk to us, spoke at us and ignored me when I asked questions because they tried to get me to pay for the item a second time. I explained I the receipt in my email with transaction numbers and they ignored me. I was planning to purchase other items while there but the staff was this rude, so there was no reason to spend my money there.

I ordered online 12/27. Received an email that said they would call me within 1 day to schedule delivery. Never heard from them. I called their 888 number...got voicemail both times. After still not getting a response, I went to their store in person to find out what the problem was. After looking up the order, the salesman had no idea why I had not been contacted. Delivery is scheduled for 1/13. We'll see how it goes. I probably will not buy from here again.

My lovely grandmother is going on 2 months of no refrigerator. After Big Sandy Superstore has sent numerous of people out to her house to fix it and has failed time and time again. Not to mention the refrigerator isn’t even a year old and she purchased an extended warranty. DONT SHOP HERE!!! I sure won’t again. They’re also well aware she is 76 years old, lost all her thanksgiving food, and will be out yet another holiday. What a joke!

Everything was fine until the driver said that they couldn't hook up the washing machine because the drain was an old style drain in the middle of the basement. He acted like he had never seen anything like this in his life, and basically called me stupid for buying this house without addressing this.I had the house professionally inspected before purchase. There was no mention of the drain in the basement being a issue of any kind.When I purchased the washing machine, the only question I was asked was about the pigtail plug for the dryer. Nothing about drains at all.I always thought that Installed meant I could use it when the delivery is complete. Well, I had to run to Lowes to buy some extension hose to run to the drain. I can't believe that your drivers aren't equipped to add 8 ft of hose to a drain hose to run to a drain.Your representative that I texted with was no help at all, and she, nor the delivery crew, ever apologized for the inconvenience. They took a defensive tone with me.I am pleased with the machines themselves, but I will think twice about ordering from Big Sandy again after this experience

I ordered an air fryer rack specifically for my oven. After the transaction took place, I received a voicemail an hour later, stating you don’t ship to my area. This was supposed to be a Christmas present and now by the time I find one and get it, it will be too late for Christmas. Furthermore, after only an hour after I ordered it and receive this message, they told me that it would be 3 to 5 business days before I got my money back on my card. In short, I will never order from you get people again, and I will definitely discourage others from doing the same. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
