Today is my first time visiting The Old Home Place. Miniature Amish store offering fresh baked goods, sweets, candles, cheese bar, a small deli, and other items for your home. It smells delicious as you walk in. The candies are near the entrance. Nicely, clean, and organized shelves. Clean store in general. Decent prices. Friendly and nice service from everyone. Parking in front of the store.

Busy place, but so friendly and helpful. Many pies, cookies, candy to choose from. Cooking utensils,spices, bulk foods, home decor, and candlemelts...fancy condiments, meat & cheese/deli counter.

Absolutely above & beyond what we where expecting. So clean! I've never been to a cleaner store than this all across the country, seriously impressed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Found lots of delicious goodies for snacks & later meals. Picked up a quick lunch of a turkey sandwich, a roast beef sandwich, macaroni salad, chips & drinks. 100% well worth! We will make a effort to stop by anytime we are in area. A+++ 110%

This was my second visit to The Old Home Place, and I'm still discovering new treats and staples. The in-house snack mixes are delicious and very affordable. The wide selection of different grains, such as different types of rice, is impressive. I'm not sure if there is anything here that I actually need, but this is really a fun place to explore and shop. The turnovers are SO GOOD!

The Lemon Meringue pie is blah; not sweet or tangy hardly at all. I make these. This one’s not close to mine at all. Puts me to sleep.The pepperoni rolls have delicious homemade rolls. The jam, chocolate peanut clusters, & some more are delicious.Busy site, fresh-looking foods. I’ll get more breads.

If you are traveling 35 from Washington CH to Chillicothe Ohio, plan to stop off at the exit for Co Rd 87, and the Old Home Place! This is a store owned by the local Mennonite Church community and the food, gifts and people are phenomenal!

We’ve lived in Ross County for about 6years now and I had no idea this was here until my husband and I were on our way home from WCH earlier this week and saw it from US-35. I don’t think I’ve ever filled a basket so quickly. There’s so many different (and yummy) goodies to choose from that I had to stop myself from buying everything I saw lol. The best find for me though was the pink and white mints my Grandfather use to give me every time he’d see me while he was alive. They instantly brought back a lot of memories and were something I haven’t seen in years. That find in itself made the trip 100% worth it.

Great selection of baked goods, cooking supplies, staple foods and bulk candy among other things. Also noticed a hemp and CBD oil display with various products. They also have frozen home made products that you can take and bake. Lastly they have a deli counter with a good selection of meats plus a cooler full of cold drinks. Very easy to get to from US 35, only a tenth of a mile from the highway.

Such incredible customer service. I called today inquiring about bulk flour. I spoke with Keith and he answered all of my questions. He is checking with his distributor to see if he can get in a specialty King Arthur flour for me. But he also took the time to check their regularly stocked flour and gave me the specifications to compare with those of King Arthur. He was very gracious and patient. I'm going to buy from The Old Home Place because what a wonderful local business to patron.

We went to get snacks for New Year's. The smoked bacon dip a d chicken salad are very good. Go early baked goods were gone when we got there. 2:00 pm. Love this place highly recommend checking it out.

Made a stop here to stretch our legs and give the baby a break from the car seat. Will remember this stop for future trips. Friendly staff and very clean. The store has great prices and a fairly large selection. The fresh pretzels are delicious!
