MOTEL: On the outside, it doesn’t look like much but our room was very clean and nice.The walls are thin so you will hear other people talking. I wish I was able to leave more stars but it was very hard to get in contact with someone working at the hotel.I had very bad cell phone reception inside the room. I called and asked for wifi but no one was available. I kept going to the office to see if any assistance was available but like I mentioned earlier, it was hard to get in contact with management.Better communication would have been better.RESTAURANT: Food was good but it was a while so be prepared to wait. It was worth the wait though. Good restaurant with good food!

Went there today 08/20/21 after some time at the lake to get some lunch and ice cream with the family. Ordered our food then a about 6 other orders happened after us we got the ice cream pretty quick then waited 45 mins for food. We got a pizza sub and a kids chickens nuggets meal. The sub had 4 peices of pepperoni on the whole thing and the little size you would normally get on a pizza. The sub was Luke warm at best and had almost no cheese and what was there wasn't melted and looked like it was a quick oh well we need to put some on so it looks like we did job. All this waiting and all the other orders with hot food were served long before we got ours. And I never got my daughters drink. I just wanted out of there its ridiculous that I had to be the last to get our food though we were the first to order.

The food is really good here & ice cream too. They have soft serve & hand dipped ice cream. The last coiple of weeks they have been having trouble with the soft serve machine. That's why only 4 stars. Other than that the people are really nice & like I said earlier, the food is good too.

Waited 20 minutes for are order to be taken and another 15 for our ice cream to come out. Ice cream was half melted. Most common items were not available. One girl seemed to be doing all the work. Other workers were just standing around doing nothing.

Don't underestimate this place! It's so much more than an ice cream shop. They have a variety of food items including wraps, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc. They have quite the crew of young kids working there, but they appear to be well-trained, or at least in the process. They are always professional and courteous and quick with a smile. And let's not forget the ice cream. Yum! My favorite is the mint chocolate chip hand-dipped. They also have soft serve, slushes, frozen yogurt, door whip, shakes, sundaes and more. You're bound to find something you want to try! ☺️

Has the best, freshest homemade ice cream ever. My son who is extra picky loves it there. We are never disappointed with the quality of food or the prices. The prices are so cheap for the amazing food you get.

Stopped and got some ice cream at Dairy King after spending the day at the lake. It was delicious! I was a little disappointed that they couldn't do a waffle cone but they were super nice about it and took care of our whole order which was quite large for our group of 8!

Horrible. Horrible experience. Went to get ice cream and the boy gave me a small cup with the ice cream over flowing and I asked for a bowl to put half of the ice cream in. He gave me a bowl as I was holding the ice cream in my hand waiting for a bowl. He then laughed and shut the window as I was asking for a spoon. I then said to heck with it and started walking away and then jumped because one of the girls with dark, short, messy hair, blackish purple hair, screamed bloody murder because she had to mop the floor. The owner needs to be called. If I would’ve had my nephew there to see that, oh my goodness I would have been even more mad. Thank goodness no bodies kids were present. The maturity was extremely lacking.

This place is usually very good. We’ve had a couple rude employees but we chopped it off as maybe they was having a busy hour. Most of the time they’re very nice. We’ve rented the rental hall out a couple time and our guess loved it.

We had a terrible experience staying at this hotel due to bad smell and uncleanliness. There were random things in the drawers and under the beds including: food, medication, and crumbs. One of the comforters had ketchup on it. Two nights of our stay we returned and multiple rooms had a strong sulfur smell coming from the heating units. Our specific room did not have controls to adjust the heat and someone else we were staying with had multiple remotes, none of which controlled the television. We never would have stayed, had it not been our only option.

Ive been here several times and every time I've been here the service has not been very friendly, hamburger was nearly raw, large ice cream didn't look much bigger than the small, hotdog was like chewing on leather. A bit pricey for bad service and low quality food.

Excellent rooms with small older stove, full size fridge, kitchen sink, 2 double beds, tv, wifi, truck parking. Food is standard fare, didn't have time for the homemade icecream, would visit again. =D

The motel has recently been upgraded. Nice furnishings. Clean rooms. Very convenient to local businesses. Close to the American legion. Good rates. Nice staff.

I used the motel for a few months while starting a new job. The place was very clean and up to date. Cable TV and WIFI internet at least one of the rooms has a mini double burner on the counter for cooking if you looking for extended stay.The food from the dairy king was also very good the tenderloin is huuuge and ice cream is awesome. It's within walking distance from the bar and pizza place if you need things like that.

People working the day we were here are jerks, lady jerks, swore in front of little kids. Service was terrible, which is why someone :/ front of us told them their service is terrible, which sparked a short swearing match started by the most unprofessional staff you have ever seen.

In all honesty this place is way better than the Tasty Treat in Minster. Its worth the extra 5 minute drive because of all the extra stuff they offer and it all tastes better too!

Owner doesn't care about her establishments or her employees it is NO WONDER SHE IS ALWAYS HIRING!!!! dogs running around peeing and pooping through out the restaurant, if your considering it, just dont!

The ice cream seems overpriced for what you get. I got a small Buckeye Storm 66 and was expecting it to be in the small milkshake cups like most ice cream parlors. Instead, the small was in one of the clear plastic cups usually used for drinks by punch bowls.
