I had rented a water softener from Hempy water for 20,Years or more, however in the last several years their repair service has really gone down hill. I had called Hemp on a Wednesday morning for service on my water softener because it wasn’t softening the water. I was told it would be the next week before anyone could get here to look at it..and they couldn’t give me an exact day at that point and said someone would call me the day before they were supposed to here. Long story short is when the repair person got here he said he fixed it but it only lasted for about a week. Then I call again and ask for a different repair guy.. again it was the next week before anyone could come to look at it..This went on and on for several weeks of me calling them because the softener wasn’t working properly. And it was always approximately a week before someone could come look at it. I personally think since I rented the softener that they really wasn’t in a hurry to fix it because they wasn’t going to make any money off of the repair work. After a month or so of being treated poorly by Hempy water. I decided to go with another company. I called Hempy and told them that their softener was on my deck and they could come get it. And guess what someone came 2 hrs later to pick it up.. not a week later but 2 hrs later.. Imagine that! . so if you want timely good repair service then don’t go with Hempy!!!!

The delivery was the best we have ever had. The gentleman was so courteous and willing to put the water wherever you like. We ordered 10 cases and he was friendly and precise on time of delivery. This is the best move we have made, with moving to this company.

We usually have great service, but I'm glad I had them come when my husband was here. Sometimes the tech is quick to say nothing is wrong, or it gets miscommunicated from what I actually tell the person answering the phone. The problem was discovered with hubby's help and hopefully we're good to go.

Was so pleased with Mr. Cortad as we had several questions now that we are taking care of mom’s house. We were leary of the idea of “renting” however the unit including the salt delivery and installation is priceless PLUS the idea of a new replacement without even a service call makes all so worth it. Personally, we’ve purchased two water softeners for our home in Columbus during the time mom’s been signed up for your service and they are not cheap for how long they last. Highly recommend Hempy!

The delivery guys carry our salt and peroxide to our basement and fill if needed. Helps tremendously due to me having shoulder surgery and cannot do any heavy lifting. Great customer service.

Good company. Hempy has been providing our water softening services for over 20 years. About a year ago we had to upgrade to newer equipment, and it has been working great to soften our water and take care of our sulfur water problem.

Hempy’s staff go the extra mile. Whether it’s delivering peroxide and salt to your unit or changing out a duckbill they are prompt and kind. If you can’t fill your water softener they will take the extra minute to make sure your system is ready.

I have water in the tank, salt is not going down, dishes are greasy regardless of how hot the water is or the soap I use. When in the shower water smells like well water. And all they say is it's normal.

We've had Hempy Water in our last 2 houses. One had very hard water and was high in iron, the water softener did a wonderful job taking out the iron. The service guys were very knowledgeable and quick to service the system when needed. The office staff has been helpful anytime I have called with questions. It's been a great company to work with.
