Came to possibly purchase some supplies for a small project I’m doing at home. Rarely ever come to Menards but usually not a bad experience actually last time (a year or so ago) I needed a wire outlet for my washing machine some worker helped me out I thought she did great but this time I’d thought to just look around and see if what I really needed was there I did not ask for help as I love to just walk around I walked near the registers and saw some cleaning supplies but not the cleaning supplies that I didn’t need and went down the aisles while that was happening a old lady kept eyeing me. I had no idea why she was eyeing me so i kept to myself and I walked past her to look at more aisles. I then went to the shelf aisle to see what they had as I am in need of one in my bathroom but due to them being made out of a material I didn’t want I thought perhaps not. Mean while the same old lady kinda walks around me and stays pretty close and then I knew what was going on and I just laughed to myself. She literally put her self in front of the garden section doors like she was guarding the merchandise with her life HAHAHA I was like this is crazyyy. I left the aisle to go ask for help for some more supplies two other associates help me they were very nice to point me in the direction and assist me with the items. When it came to checking out I was putting my bags into the cart mean while the cashier (different lady) held on to my cart. She did not let go until I paid for my items. I do not know what else to say about this experience. On another note earlier I picked up a bucket near the cat section because I did not think I needed a cart for the visit. Went to lift up the bucket on a shelf and it so slashed on me I’m assuming it was being used for a leaky ceiling. No warning no label that it was being used.

Great selection offering huge selection in all price ranges and quality levels. Knowledgable sales representatives on the floor - especially Bob in plumbing! Wonky aisle numbering system, but ask an associate and they will walk you to where you need to be. Front registers are very responsive to customers waiting in line. Menards puts Lowes to shame.

This Menards is pretty good! Selection is great. The prices are fair. (As fair as I suppose they could be in the current market…. Yeesh). The 11% cash back program keeps me coming back! Checkout and returns are always smooth and pleasant. The restrooms are always clean! There’s one thing, and this actually seems to be a thing at all the Menards stores I’ve been to, they are so big, it’s sometimes a challenge to find someone who can show you where something is if you’re not sure where to look. But, I might also just be an impatient a-hole who’s in too much of a hurry… 🤣 🤷🏽‍♂️

Terrible customer service. I bought $8000 worth of siding, trim, and supplies and what was in-stock in the barn the teller said half was not. Got the special order siding some boxes was wrong color which had to reorder set my contractor back another month. Wasted countless time and money with 7 trips on 1 order. Managers couldn't help with compensation on anything. Worse project experience with menards I've ever had. I will definitely be canceling my credit card and start going to lowes!

Return method for lumber yard items is a convoluted mess at best. First you have to take you sales receipts inside to clerk, someone has to come out to your vehicle to verify what you are returning. Then you get a pink return slip, which you take with you along with the items. Then you stop at gate and attendant has to check your receipt and returns again. Then you drive to location to unload your returns. Then back to the gate attendant to verify your vehicle is empty and the return slip is signed again. Then you have to go park and go back inside so the clerk can give you refund. Total trip is 30 to 45 minutes of walking, driving and waiting.

Never again. As a contractor having to walk through the store then back out then drive around the back is a complete waste of my time. Finally they tell me I can order with the app then drive through the gate. Problem solved..... oh no, now I can only bring one truck through at a time. What a completely useless system

am an owner operator delivering nursery plants. They had five people on the operation. One guy was counting the plants I was in and out of there after 290 plants off my trailer in less than 40 minutes. Thanks guys I went next-door and had a beer and some chicken wings and watch the basketball game, get some rest and do it all over again tomorrow. Thanks again Matt is the manager and his great staff. The long haired football player in high school I don't know what he was thinking about though lol I was gonna ask him if he misses assignments when he's playing football, and if he gets yelled at, he did look off into the distance outside of the truck standing in the doorway and wait for us to bring more plants lol thanks again guys had a good time.Thanks Sean I accidentally put this on defiant store. Wow store manager came out did not even speak to me after all the plants were unloading in defiance she blamed me for all the stuff that was in the back of the truck.

Favorite big box style hardware store. Only complaint rented a rug doctor. Still had a little dirty water in it when we got it. Not a big deal. Finished using it rinsed everything out took it back and was charged 20 bucks for a cleaning fee because the dirty water tank looked dirty.

I was told my cabinets would be delivered after 1 week. After that 1st week, I was told they wouldn't deliver anything until all items came in (counter,sink,cabinets). It has now been 3 weeks, everything is sitting at the store and they STILL haven't delivered because they have it set up as store pick up. Waste of time and very annoying, especially when I ordered and set up the DELIVERY in store. Never once was it set up to be a pick up.

I've spent way to much time in this store.. not gonna lie though, everyone has beem helpful.Especially cabinet area.Check outs are fast.Outside garden is cheaper then the blur store.Sometimes the lay out is a tad bit off compared to other stores, but once you get used to it, it's easy to follow.Findlay ohio location is the place I shop.

Lady at front desk yelled at me and my boy for a receipt as soon as I entered with a cart to change out carts with the cart that has the race car on it for my son to ride in it I had two small boxes of trash bags in my cart And I said no I don’t have a receipt I just got here changing carts and need to pay on my cart she continued to insist I needed a receipt or pay for the trash bags. I once again I said I need to pay on my card And continue shopping and she took my payment and then once again insisted I need to pay for the garage bags I can’t just take them! I literally had to ask her why are you accusing me of stealing ? I’m here paying on my card and shopping why can’t I continue to shop! She still wanted to insist that I was trying to steal garage bags! I’ve never been treated like that in any store especially one I’m in weekly if not more ! I guess Menards doesn’t want my business !

Definitely don’t come on a Wednesday. Had to return a tub that was damaged out of the box and they weren’t happy with it at all. Had to argue with them because they didn’t believe that it was damaged out of the box. Finally got them to exchange the bad one for a good one. Went to get loaded and the guy out back was very rude and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon. First bad experience I’ve had here and definitely disappointed in the customer service. Looks like I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great prices, great selection. Very knowledgeable staff per my experience. Won't say which is better between home Depot, Lowe's, or Menards. They all do well so for me it's a matter of who's closer. If you are doing a large project they do give an 11% discount.

Sales rep David was great. Had to track down the yard help. Once he gave us his attention things were fine. Witnessed several yard employees standing around but no one came to help us. Finally I did get Marcus's attention and he helped finish out loading.

Was in here 3 weeks ago and Jackie T was my cashier and had an absolute amazing interaction with them, very upbeat very friendly and the movie section was so organized when they fixed it, I’ve been in a couple times before and the movies were a mess and I always see Jackie fixing them up ! Definitely will come back

Rude customer service people. Ordered online, got email notification that my order was ready for pickup, get to store and nobody knows where order is. Finally tell me it's sold out! Ask for refund and was told no refund, you have to wait for more product and pick it up. So basically, I paid for an order and received NOTHING!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Love coming here to shop, but was not impressed today at all. Spent well over 2k in materials for a fence, came to pick up some of the Materials today, my husband loaded all 75 pine rails and 18 posts all by himself while there were four workers out in the lumber yard, not one offered to help load. Very disappointed

Bought a Whirlpool microwave. Was rang up for the correct black microwave but was given a white instead. I didn't realize it until I had it home and partially unboxed. When I went to exchange it for the correct color and asking for some sort compensation for having to drive 30 minutes each way, I was answered with "corporate doesn't let us do that ". I ended up just returning the microwave and will be ordering online. I understand corporate limitations but that's no excuse for not being able to take care of the customer, especially when a contractor can come in and buy the same microwave for a discounted price.

The pickup service here is terrible. If you want to deal with a bunch of petty attitudes and completely unnecessary damage to your car, then this will be right up your alley! Kyle in particular is the worst...

I went out to pick up the lumber for a friend's 20 x 24 deck. I have a way to haul it and they do not. Menard told them someone would help me load it. 133 deck boards 30 2x6s and some other lumber is what there was. Not one yard person offered to help. I did see a couple just driving around though. They all had good hiding spots I guess. The gate person great though. She actually new how to do her job. The yard guys not so much.

Completely done doing business with them. I spent $80 on products there, $30 of it was with rebate money. The next day I returned $40 worth of products with my receipt and they said they could only give it to me with another rebate. Even though I spent $50 in cash. I feel robbed. They literally stole my money. If I would have known that is how they do business I would have made two separate purchases. 1 with rebate money and 1 with cash. I will stick with Lowe's from now on. At least Lowe's respects the military enough to offer discounts to them. Menards rebate is nothing but a scam. I can not even begin to explain how horrible and violated I feel after this experience.

Store is fine, but cashier very rude; I totally understand mask policy, but when explained why friend and I were standing clear away from other shoppers with mask off for a few, she was totally out of line insisting we put back on. Mind you, we both have medical condition but she only said " if that bad, shouldn't be in store"...Really, we just wanted to take a moment to get fresh air and we made sure in a isle all alone...Maybe she shouldn't have a job!!

This is my first place to go for anything they sell in comparison to their competitors. Their rebates save us a lot of money. I appreciate that their employees walk you to where a product is if you can’t find it and you ask for help. That is important to me.However, It is dangerous that they do not rope off an aisle while they re stocking or retrieving items on high shelves with a lift and you can walk right beside them and they don’t always stop what they are doing. Safety is definitely not one of their high points.

A great place to shop and save money. You do have to be careful with some items they sell. I find that most of the staff is friendly. They have a good return policy. I also like the 11 percent discount they offer. I have gotten a lot of free items by using the rebates. I have also done a little grocery shopping here as well.
