I’ve been to this store multiple times and always had great service. He’s honest and won’t just try to sell you on fish or materials. He doesn’t treat a 3 gallon tank owner any different than a 200 gallon expert. I will always go here for anything I need or looking to upgrade.

My boyfriend and I went here to check out their fish tank and fish selection. We arrived about a half hour after they opened, but there weren't any lights turned on in the tank showroom lol This was kinda strange at first, however, a gentleman appeared, greeted us, and turned on some lights. As another reviewer stated, there are no prices on the items. Other than that, there are so many cool fish, coral, and reptiles here. Also, there's a literal small alligator (pictured). The store itself could use some deep cleaning such as dusting and wiping down the used tanks. I'm not sure if I'll visit here again, but it was a cool experience.

The guy working every-time we go is always super nice and answers any and all questions I have about keeping my aquarium and fish happy and healthy. He’s always super great with our kids and is kind to answer their 100 questions. Highly recommend this place! It is the only place we go to get our fish and other aquatic needs!

Best saltwater store in North West ohio.. great prices healthy fish and lot of corals.. vary knowledgeable and friendly staff!! This is a must stop if looking for saltwater in nw ohio and only 5 min from I-75. They are mainly a saltwater but they do carry some freshwater and willing to special order for customers. They also carry crickets and super worms and have some reptiles too. Frozen food and dry goods, used equipment and tanks for sale. All around great mom and pop fish store!

Very knowledgeable staff and friendly. We wanted to start our first saltwater reef tank and knew almost nothing about doing so until we talked to the staff at Changing Tide. They were extremely helpful at getting us the supplies we needed to get started and filled us in on important details. Great experience all together.

I just went here on saturday they had a large variety of salt water stuff. I was looking for fresh water fish, which they had. The fish i bought looked very healthy and lively. I put them in my tank with no issues. It was a nice local place.

This place is very “fishy”. They completely stink with customer service. They don’t care about customer loyalty and trying to appease repeating customers. They are there for pure profit. I offered them a cc payment over the phone for a axolotl I went to pick up but couldn’t make it. Left a message on their business voicemail that I would be there to pick him up next business day. I called next business day and they had already sold the animal. I bought three axolotl a from them already and had an existing relationship of responsible business. One had died after I originally purchased two. They did not provide any refunds from the one that died and my only choice was to buy another one. Therefore, I did and then experienced this terrible experience when trying to do business and communicate with them recently. When I offered to come down to the store to discuss in person, the owner stated threateningly that it would not be a friendly encounter. Would have been a long time loyal customer, but will not return due to their shady practices and how they treated me on my most recent transaction. All for money and don’t care about the customer. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We love Changing Tide Aquatics! We have a saltwater tank, and it's the only shop we go to. Good selection, good prices, and the folks there are super knowledgeable and very friendly! They also have tropical fish and supplies, as well as a lot of new and used equipment. We'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great place to find saltwater or freshwater fish and supplies in Findlay!

I recently made some purchases from changing tides. The staff was super friendly, seemed knowledgable about the questions I presented and even gave me some simple maintenance supplies they had on hand for free. There isn't much of a selection as far as products go (water care, nutrients, equipment, etc), but they did have most of what I was looking for that were not carried by any of the pet stores in Findlay. There was a good selection of salt water fish and inverts and everything I saw seemed to be in good health.I am giving 4 stars because the place could use a little love appearance/aesthetic wise, low selection of physical product (or at least variety), I had to find temporary hours on their social media rather than being posted on door, website or answering machine, prices are a little on the high side and the message I did leave on machine I never received a call back. However, the staff's pleasantness, knowledge, healthy selection of fish and inverts and knowing this is local small business rather than a giant chain well within travel time deserves the 4 stars and I will continue to support them as a customer. Changing Tides is a wonderful place for a great aquatic experience. Both were very knowledgeable,helpful and eager to answer any questions I had. Awesome and extremely clean tanks and store. They have wonderful ideas to aid anyone with a DIY setup also. Offering a superior quality of saltwater fish, coral, live rock, also freshwater fish varieties. Not to mention they also have everything you need to get things up and going or add to existing tanks. Highly recommend this place to anyone.A true diamond in the ruff!!!!!!!!!

Very friendly and helpful. They have lots of tanks at reasonable prices. They specialize in saltwater but also have freshwater fish and reptiles. If you own an aquarium of any size I recommend going here because you actually have local owners who have tons of knowledge and experience with anything going into a tank.
