After installation we had a concern with a spot on the carpet, called Rick, and he immediately came straight out and easily resolved the issue. We decided to get another room done after they finished this room because everything exceeds expectations.

Rick made us a priority by coming to the house to measure promptly, and guiding us to perfect carpet choices based on our desires when we stopped in the office. He also scheduled installation quickly and around our busy lives. The guys who removed the old carpet and laid the new padding and carpet are seasoned and it shows in their work. They were diligent and efficient, and very friendly 😊 Highly recommend Carpets Direct.

We had Carpets Direct install new carpet in our upstairs bedrooms and new flooring in our bathroom. The carpet looked great, and the installation was on schedule, and they even worked with our contractor on pushing our back a few days due to some contractor delays. When they were in the middle of installing the LVP in the bathroom we realized it was a lot more multi-tonal than we expected from what we saw at the store, but they made it more consistent tones for us even though it meant a little bit of rework and their having use more flooring to remove the darker planks that were just too much contrast for a smaller bathroom, and it looks good now.

We installed vinyl plank flooring. The selection and quality of materials are Carpets Direct was much better than at the big box stores. Furthermore, they did a top notch job on the installation too!I'll be back if I need any flooring or tile work in the future.UPDATE 11/20/23 - We have had issues with the vinyl plank product/materials, not related to the installation. Carpets Direct made several service calls, at no cost, to make repairs since the original install.The issues continued to persist. The owner, Rick Riggs, concluded that the right thing to do was to replace the flooring. He had us come to his shop to pick out the pattern/product and installed within a couple of weeks. The most impressive part was that Rick covered the cost out-of-pocket, didn't ask us to pay for any of it, and didn't wait to see if the manufacturer was going to cover it as a warranty claim.Carpets Direct exhibited old-fashion customer service, would not have gotten that level of response from a big-box retailer.

Rick was great to work with in the purchase of our flooring. I'll be honest, I had a good enough experience talking to him that I didn't even shop around. The prices seemed reasonable to me. As far as the installation went, I'm sure that all of Rick's guys are great, but I can't speak highly enough about the three that did ours. Luke, Dan, and Paul did a fantastic job. Super attentive to detail, cleaned up after themselves, and anytime there was any sort of question or something that popped up they tracked me down and asked before proceeding.I will definitely request the three of them when we come back to replace carpet down the road! I recommend coming here for your flooring needs!

We've been using Carpets Direct since moving to Findlay in 2011 on multiple jobs (3 so far). Every time, we are pleased to work with Rick. He is a personable guy who fully explains the products offered. Rick is truthful and honest within his expertise, and we are happy to work with him for all flooring needs. He remains in communication through phone calls/text as needed to move through a job. Rick personally comes out to measure your rooms and discuss needs within the spaces needing addressed.His installation crew (Steve) has been with him for 30 years, and wow, are they workhorses! They arrive on time and knock out the work. If there are any questions, he is happy to share throughout the installation. My son found it very entertaining to observe their skills and offer casual chatter regarding what they were working on. Carpet is laid down tightly and seams perfectly concealed. When applying carpet to a room with baseboard already down, extra care was taken not to mar up the surface.Don't hesitate to work with Rick at Carpets Direct! He operates a personable local business that comes highly recommended by our family to yours.

Another very positive experience.I have had very positive experiences with Carpets Direct over the last few years after having some significant challenges with some of the large carpet stores out of Toledo and Perrysburg. But last week they continued to display their professionalism and integrity. I called Rick looking for a small amount of flooring for a project I was doing at Basic Truth Church in Cygnet, Ohio.
