This is hands down my favorite new bird shop. I used to drive an hour out to Sugarcreek but now I am thrilled to find an excellent place to get birdfood, toys and supplies for by flock.I also found the most adorable dark headed Caique who said she needed to come home with me. So after being invited to sit and hold her and play with her about an hour I went ahead and took my sweet bird home.They are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful at The Bird Shoppe and Vern was so helpful and patient with my questions. The owner Anne took extra time to get to know me and we are going to be seeing more of each other frequently. They even sent my Caique home with some food and toys to help make her transition easier.

We have been bringing our bird here for years for his general grooming care. We have saved hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars on our pet's care by not having to take him to the vet for this basic service. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring. And the owner, Anne, is very nice.

Good store for your bird needs. They didn't have many on the floor though. They told me it was because of the season though. The lady behind the counter was friendly and gave me good information. I plan to come back more for my birds needs.

We visited from Columbus, unfortunately we have to drive to Cleveland area for our bird needs but found this store and wanted to give it a shot. The staff was very sweet and friendly, I could tell they have a passion for birds. Their toy selection was great for our 4 macaws, I haven’t been able to come along on so many beefy Macaw ready toys in stores; so I feel our flock will definitely take a decent time to chew through all we purchased. They had a good selection of feed as well. Enjoyed visiting all the birds, the Hyacinth they have there is a stunner. Never had the pleasure of seeing on in person but this one was an absolute sweetheart. Will definitely keep this store in our rotation for our next toy stock up.

Always a good experience coming in after work. I bout 2 Birds from here and they have been perfectly health since the day I took them home. They have a good selection of food, treats, and toys for birds. Really do love this place

Had a lot of fun visiting. Beautiful well taken care of birds. Large selection of bird toys and feed. All the birds besides the small little type (finch, parakeets) were very interested in human interaction (talking to them, etc). Decent prices on cages and feeds and little birds. The Guinea pigs and rabbits were even very friendly. Will return.

I love this place. Staff are so very friendly and helpful. Dropped my baby Cockatiel off for boarding today, and they went way above and beyond making room for her large cage! Such sweet ladies. Yuki was already singing away time I left, I could tell she felt safe and at home. Thanks so much! See you Thursday. P.s.,next time, I promise to bring a smaller cage!

Love stopping in and seeing the bird's. Nice variety of bird food. A bit pricey but mine love it. I do like they let you mix it up if it's the same $. Most of the bird's seem to be on vacation and not for sale. I believe you can but not for sure pay a deposit for a baby bird. Just more familiar with there process of Sugar Creek than here on this. Most have a waiting list. Very nice staff.

Bulk food selection was the best I have ever seen in a parrot shop. They have a Hyacinth that is super interactive and fun. Employees and owner were super nice and knowledgeable!They have a ton of room in the store but sadly they have so little actual product to buy and I would like to see them improve this at least. Maybe having a wall a toy making parts would be easy and a huge money maker for them!Will be going back for the bulk mixes when my husband and I are in the area.

This place is a treasure. Not only do they have EVERYTHING you need to take care of a parrot, but they offer invaluable services at insanely low cost. I seriously would be very lost without this place because my parrot will only eat food from here, has boarded here several times when I go on trips, and gets wing and nail trims here. They also have really good, safe toys and perches. I hope this place lasts for a very, very long time.

We've been taking our two lovebirds here for boarding every time we've traveled for the past 10 years. They also get their pedicure here. I trust that the stuff is taking good care of them and find them healthy and in good spirits when we return, every time. Excellent service!

This is the best place to go if you're into feathered friends! We spent over an hour just looking but we will be back! They provide grooming, boarding and great conversations about all the talkers and non talkers. We also saw a few furries, bunnies, a chinchilla and a cute little hairless guinea pig lol This is where we will get our next bird when we are ready. Thanks o much to the staff for taking their time with my 11 year old and answering all of her questions, you were great.

They have a great selection of toys, treats and more. They even had the same swing that my Senegal parrot is in love with but i hadn't been able to find another. I enjoyed my experience and I think my birds will love the things we got them.

I’ve only been to the store twice, but I really like it. I purchased two cockatiels the first time and two finches the second time. Both times the attendants were very nice and engaging. I’m also not at all bothered by the fact that they seem to not have a huge selection of available birds at once because I really think what they do offer are very healthy and well cared for. Also, the prices of the birds are actually pretty good. Companion birds, especially quality ones, aren’t cheap, but I saw prices that we actually better than I’ve seen elsewhere. I hope to visit this store in the future! Also there’s a cool lady there with purple hair. She rocks!

We have been customers for 19 years because everyone at the Bird Shop are kind, caring and knowledgeable. When one of our birds was ill and we could not afford the care he needed, they stepped up to groom his abnormally fast growing beak for little to no cost. We are forever grateful to Ann and her staff for this. They make certain that the bird you get is best breed for you, and they must be good at it, because we have taken home at least 5 or 6 birds!

Upon walking into The Bird Shoppe, I was greeted by many large parrots saying "Hello!" Which was adorable and instantly made me smile. I went to see what sort of bird supplies I could find for a good deal (I have a flock at home) but ended up bringing a budgie home as well! She interacted with me through the cage and I could tell she wanted to sit on my finger. I spent a good deal of time with her, walked around, came back to her to see if she was sure about wanting to interact with me. Every time I came back around she came right to me and gave my finger kisses and tried to perch on me. I wanted to call up there and thank them for the budgie, the others were quite fearful so I wasn't sure why this particular one was so nice, but I decided to write a review instead. Hopefully Anne sees this. My husband is the one who called up there about Button Quail. Anne was so nice on the phone that I decided "I should give her some business" Now here I am, writing a review. Since my new budgie has been home she has been such a treat. Me and her really have a connection as silly as that sounds. She's kind natured and will sit with my husband for a few moments but she genuinely prefers me, even flies to me from across the room, gives kisses, then carries on with playing. I've named her Kiwi. Thanks again, Anne. And to the woman who checked me out, thanks for the cuttlebones!

Love this shop! I'm currently waiting for my new Sulphur Crested Cockatoo to be old enough to come home for good! The store owner, Ann, always has the birds' interests at heart. The election of bird-safe toys is great! Lots of choices for seed, perches, accessories... you name it!
