My vital care has been messed up for a long time, and we paid a year in full a month ago and it wasn't showing. I can never get it to work and cust service never really helps. TRINITY was amazing and got it all worked out with the help line for us, changed my email and got it taken care of. She worked on it for a long while for us, kept a great attitude and was so helpful. I will stay coming to this location because of her.Give that girl a raise!

Do not buy fish from this petco. The freshwater tanks are covered in algae. Also I went there and was told Oscar fish can be with African cichlids (which is not true) and a couple of days I went back to see the Oscar was killed by the African ciclids. The workers DO NOT give good advice. The saltwater tanks have Cyanobacteria and the fish are constantly under observation. I bought two clownfish from here and one of the fish that they sold me had a parasite and ended up dying. The fish weren’t under observation at this time and I even asked if the fish were ok to sell; they said yes. I was also told that it’s ok to get an urchin in an 1 month cycled tank and that isn’t true. They have anemones that look sad and I suspect they may be using city water for their saltwater tanks and not rodi water. This store needs someone else to manage the fish or just don’t sell them at all.

I brought my two dogs in to get vaccinated for rabies as they were overdue and needed to get their shots in order to be groomed and have surgery. I made it clear I was only interested in the rabies vaccination as their groomer required it prior to getting services and the pet hospital required it prior to their surgery which was scheduled after their grooming appointments. They could get their other vaccines and heart medications at the pet hospital which is cheaper. I was rudely lectured by the doctor at the clinic today trying to force me into buying extra products and then trying to shame me when I refused by stating “other pet owners come in once a month to get their pets needs.” I just rescued my two dogs from a bad situation and I’m doing the best I can to get them up to date. I don’t need to be harassed and made to feel incompetent because I refuse services I can get cheaper elsewhere. I have had other dogs services at this location with another doctor and it went well. I have had positive experiences with their staff and managers who went out of their way to help me but the treatment I got today was disgusting. Even the vet tech understood my explanation and advised it made sense whereas the doctor just wanted to continue to be snarky. I definitely will be taking my services for my pets somewhere else. There was no need for the nasty treatment I got.

I've always appreciated the customer service provided to me by the associates at the Fairfield Petco.Unfortunately, when I recently shopped online to obtain a dog calming vest (XL), I was unable to locate the "exact" same brand/type of calming vest I actually held in my hands at that store.

They were very nice ,but we're not knowledgeable about products they have in store. I told the girl that I checked on line and they said they had it in store at this location and she said she didn't think so. Ofcorse she looked it up for herself and found that it was in store at this location.

The delivery person needs to stop putting the bag of dog food in front of the door so it can’t be opened. I am disabled and I have to have someone come from across town to move it so I can get it in the house. I have complained about this numerous times so now you will get a negative review.

I went in to get my baby some food and asked if he could get a nail trim while I was there. They took him right in. Jessica was thorough and quick and was very loving to my baby. I told her he loves being carried like a baby so she picked him up and carried him like that. He was comfortable going with her since she did this.

Took my dog here for a cut. When arrived they were friendly as always when I go. I go to the grooming area and they advised me that a cut is not usually done on my breed and suggested a bath and brush and teeth and nail. The bath and brush was 30 the teeth and nails were 10 equaling a total of 40. When I go to pick her up I was told she did very well. However when I went to pay it ended up being over 90 dollars. i get my dog is a large dog so if because of that it's going to be more then make sure you quote the correct price. For this reason I will most likely not be back. As far as them being friendly and all that I give them a 5 star

Got my corgi puppy a first time bath and grooming service and we picked this place cuz of the cleanliness, friendly staffs and very good variety items selection. BUT ! last night when we got home our puppy seem very sad and down. So we checked and observed him then we found out that there’s some blood on his paw. When we looked at it then we found this (in the picture) , so we looked further more and also found this (in the picture) too. We were very upset and felt bad for our puppy, but there’s nothing we can do about it. So yea just be careful for those who’s looking for a really nice bath and grooming service. Not here for sure !!!

I went in last week to get some stuff for a leopard gecko and was helped by a girl with a beanie and ripped pants, but it didn’t feel like she was helping me at all, she sounded condescending the entire time and it really felt like she was acting as if everything I had picked out what completely wrong. I told her I didn’t have enough for the tank she wanted me to get and told her it was a very young baby and still she was so rude about it. I’ve been helped by other people like andy and trinity and they’ve always been so helpful and suggestive, I don’t know how there can be such a difference.

Not what you expect from a chain pet store- they truly care and put in the extra effort! As an aquarium hobbyist, I can say most stores treat fish as cheap and expendable, but this Petco treats them as well as any specialty store I’ve ever seen. Lots of information available as to different fish requirements, and a surprisingly good selection too. Clean tanks, decent plants, and healthy fish. Very grateful to see this, and will happily return here in the future for my aquarium needs!

I love taking my dog to the groomer here! They are very patient & great at getting the dogs to become comfortable. My 60lb shepherd mix is a little timid and looks terrified every time she comes in for the walk in $20 "makerover" but the experience goes by quick and painless for her because of the staff. There's one lady I particular who is younger and almost always is working. Snickers loves her the best! The staff in the store are always very awesome and welcoming too. 10/10 recommend.

My dog hair wasn’t cut the way we asked and when i picked my dog up the groomer said next time bring a picture! So I decided to reach out to customer service they had the general manager call back and she was just as rude and commented I shouldn’t return! Extremely disappointed with how they handled the situation and how I was talked to I wouldn’t dare spent another penny there if that’s how they treat paying customers! They need to realize it’s because of customers they have a job! If they talked to me that way I could imagine how they treat your pet! Customers beware.. I’ve been going to Petco for years and never complained about anything.

Went shopping at Petco to find a dog food to help keep my senior dog healthy. Andy was working and stopped what he was doing to show me the different options and helped me compare them. He was so friendly and helpful, I’ll be purchasing all my pet needs there in the future.

Petco doesn't actually train any of their "fish experts" because of this for months at a time I was receiving fish with chlorine and ammonia poisoning. I fish with a 5 year life span didn't even live for 1 full year. This is ridiculous and if I didn't know better this could have ruined the hobby for me as with many other people. Tired of chain establishments ruling everything they obviously don't care about anything but the dollar signs

First time in the store. Staff was nice, shelves were well stocked. I found exactly what I was looking for. I browsed a bit and was happy with what I saw. Nice variety of things throughout the fish section. Prices are a tad high, but not unreasonable. Ill be back for sure.Edit: I've been back to this location multiple times. I primarily only shop for fish supplies. Selection can be slim at times, BUT other than that the staff and store itself have been great. I just think corporate doesn't send some of their stock to smaller stores. Certain tanks listed within the app aren't available here, but it appears they are in Troy? Its an odd deal, I'm sure its out of this locations control. Regardless, I really enjoy stopping by.

I had a 5 Star rating on this store for the past 5 year's until Today I change it to a 1 Star. This store accused me & my 15 year old daughter trying to breed a Guinea Pig. The Manger even made the comment that I could create babies and sell them. My heart broken daughter has to hear this bullcrap. I've never been treated this way before at any place of business, im a hard working honest person who was treated like a lieing dishonest person in front of my daughter.
