Great store, but your concern for customer safety in doing things is terrible. Customer service on the floor is terrible as well, why have so many employees and none want to help?They really shouldn't be operating a fork lift in an aisle with customers, especially when the employee really is not paying attention.Employees are in abundance, but usually not willing to help, they usually see the customer and go the other way. What happened to engaging with customers?Prices are much less than their competitors, even more so with the rebates.Handicap accessible doors, restrooms. The scooters are not always charged, or never to be found.

What a great place! Everyone I met was helpful and professional, and the selection of tile and bathroom fixtures was outrageous! Everything seems to be really clearly marked and laid out beautifully. One of the gentlemen told me that they pretty much have everything in stock, and if they don’t, they’ll get it. I just found it so easy to get around and a joy to search for what I needed. I will definitely go back to Menards.

2 times I've visited and both times they had no power scooters available for my wife who has a broken foot. They only have 2 available at any given time. Kroger, right next door manages to have around 10....2 power chairs for a store this size? Get real. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. Everywhere else seems to easily accommodate customers with mobility needs...

First thing, you never find anyone to help when you need it. Second thing prices are not always the best. Third, I have never received a rebate check for anything that I sent for rebate. I’d rather go to Lowe’s or Home Depot, and not worry about the prices, the help, or having to send in rebates.

I did have this set to 5 stars, however, we purchased a new bathroom vanity and upon installing it, we noticed a hole in the pipe which of course was causing it to leak. And after fixing that leak, we noticed there was ANOTHER hole in the pipe. I called customer service and they literally could not be bothered. Their suggestion was to "try to come in maybe and hopefully a manager will be there". Absolutely ridiculous. We have no way of taking it back to the store either since our vehicle is too small so even if we could fit it, why go through the hassle of "hoping" that a manager will be there to help? Just ridiculous. Really irritated. We've spent a small fortune at Menard's and I feel like our money would be better spent at Lowe's.

It opened a couple of months ago! This is neat and staff are friendly. Someone asked me if I needed help finding things, which is great! The store has a little section on food and grocery items, which by the way, are cheaper than other grocery stores around. I found the Christmas items I need 👍👍

Bought a shower door from them, and the tool broke. Went to the store and told them, and they made it right. Fantastic employee, I hope they are paying them real good they deserve it

We are remodeling are kitchen. We went here today, to create a kitchen floor plan. We gave the employee measurements . He didn't even use them he made up some sizes. He said, wèll this isn't Lowes & laughted. Are you kidding me. We took vacation days for this. It's the worst service and cost his company our business.I'm speechless & going to Lowes.

This is my favorite store for all household and outdoor items. It is well stocked and organized. Ailes are large and bright. There are always kind people willing to help find items. Above all, it is remarkably clean for a store of this kind.

Went in to spend over 1k on a new shower base and door and was told that the glass I wanted was out of stock so I asked if they could reduce the price on the next size up (roughly 60$ extra) GM said no way and refused to work any sale with me i left with my money and will be heading somewhere else

One of the best stores around. Tron is the absolute best customer service you could ever get. He always gets me out the door with everything I need, will help solve situations, he can recognize a stressed customer and make the experience enjoyable. No matter the situation tron always took my problem and made it his until a solution came to his mind and sent me home with what I need and a smile. H never fails to deliver, always makes me feel like family. Thanks to this company for having an employee like tron. Lifetime customer for as long as he is there. If you want the best customer service you could ever have, see Tron at menards!

Tried buying a half sheet of osb, they wanted 27$ I said wrong sticker was put on it they called manger over and he said that's what the sticker says, didn't want to help. DON'T Buy lumber here

I visited the Menards in Fairborn several times, and it consistently impressed me. This store is impeccably clean and neatly arranged, making shopping a breeze. It's spacious and offers a wide range of products at reasonable prices. The staff here is also exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, it's a top-notch shopping experience, and I wholeheartedly give it 5 stars!

Ordered counter tops paid over 1,000 dollar for them to make them wrong 2 times. Been out of a sink for 5 weeks and being 35 weeks pregnant. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They just lost my business forever I will not buy a single thing from them again.

I absolutely love this store and service we got Sunday. Our cashier Nikki was such an enjoyment, also super friendly. It makes a difference when the Customer feels valued!! I didn't catch the name of the other cashier but she was also so sweet and humble.

Terrible customer experience. After 3 trips having to get the measurements correct for my cabinets and counter tops with the cabinet folks the cabinets finally came in. They go to bring them out to me and they are all individual boards wrapped in separate boxes - not put together cabinets. We was never informed of this. I go back in and order another brand of cabinets that are put together.These cabinets come in a few weeks later and I pick them up. They are all in boxes except one. I asked the guy why is this one was not in a box and he said it’s most likely a custom cabinet and I said I ordered no custom cabinets. I told the guy I’ve had a terrible experience with Menards so far and he looks at me with this completely blank stare and says, ‘ok’ as if he cares more about what he’s having going to have for lunch a month from now than how my experience is with their store.I get the cabinets home and the one that was unboxed was used and had prior drill holes all through it and the color was way off from the cabinets next to it. The utility cabinet I bought both doors on it are a lighter alloy gray than all of my other cabinets. And the cabinet with the most space also comes with zero shelves that I had to order later. So all other cabinets come with shelves but not the larger cabinet in your kitchen (something you expect usually when you’re buying a cabinet to store food in, crazy I know)So I return this used cabinet, and another cabinet that was just the wrong size and I told them about the utility cabinet door mismatch. They re-order the two cabinets and the utility cabinet door. One of the two managers of the cabinet division calls me last Tuesday and leaves a voicemail. I call back and speak to a non-manager who I asked to have someone call me back after 4 pm. No call back from them for an entire week. I call back after a week and spoke to the same guy as before that said no manager was in and would have them call me back after 4. No call through Thursday and I go in to pick up my 2 cabinets and ask what’s up with the utility door re order and no call back.Spoke with the same guy who I spoke with previously who said no manager was available. The 2 re-ordered cabinets come to find out are used AGAIN!! I asked again for him to have one of their managers call me back after 4 to tell me what’s going on with the utility cabinet door ordeal and get those other cabinets re-ordered again that were used. The manager calls me at 11 am the next day…….. unbelievable. This same manager tells me they can’t ship this stuff to me for free because Menards would have to pay for it. I kid you not.I get home today and a door to the utility cabinet was delivered to my house. I get it out and put it up next to the other door and it’s the exact same light color that doesn’t match the other cabinets. My oh my.I’ve had to explain this entire story to at least 5 different people 4 of them in management at Menards. After 8 total trips to this location which is roughly 25 minutes from me one way (nearly 7 hours) and probably 15 hours ordering and dealing with the problems from there needless to say I’m beyond frustrated. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this location and go to Lowe’s or Home Depot that have to know what they are doing better than these guys.The store manager Andrew is supposed to follow up with me and have the rest of my items shipped to me for free. I will post back and let you know how that goes and how that communication channel is. Also, hoping I don’t get the same milk toast response everyone else has received here and something really gets addressed with this location.

Over a month long project of fixing up an old house I bought. Spent tons of money here and should save big with the rebates. Have to watch the young sales reps they generally have no idea what you're telling them you want. Look it up yourself online place in cart and give them the item number.

Every single time we visit the Fairborn store we are greeted by the friendliest staff. We have never had to search for anything as we have always been asked if we can be helped ( by now we got that part down pretty good) . Staff members have offered us advice or similar items with a better review . We had paint mixed and the fabulous ladies talked us through the painting process with a metallic paint ( that turned out gorgeous). Just wanted to give a shout out for super customer service . And yes Don we mentioned you for you wonderful personality and helpful nature 🙂

As the saying goes. One bad apple ruins the whole bushel. That's my experience. Everyone has always been so nice and helpful accept one rude b*&#h at the returns desk. It was clear I was in a hurry I was standing there for an extremely long time without being acknowledged. I had a simple question that could have been answered in a second but the woman working the counter just stood there and ignored me while her supervisor helped the customer she couldn't help. The supervisor finished and walked away then the customer informed her that she had asked the supervisor to do the wrong thing. She yelled across the store for the supervisor to come back and fix it again the right way while she stood there ignoring me again. I would understand if she was actively working on something but she was standing there looking at her nails while the supervisor did all the work. I finally gave up and left the store very irritated without getting my question answered. I took my business to Home Depot.

Gosh I wish I'd given this place a chance sooner and skipped BOTH the crowded nightmare that is Dayton Yellow Springs Kroger and pet stores. Mernards almost literally has everything you need and is so spacious and clean. I never feel crowded. My fiance has Hodgkin's lymphoma so we still mask, but I never feel like I'm right up against anyone or fighting to go down an aisle. The staff has always been SO NICE to me and not in a fake forced way, in a genuine way like they're happy to be there. I won't go into Kroger or PetSmart again unless I'm somehow forced to.

Sale item drop, go that morning, already out, have similar and won't match; two workers just chit chatting the day away, walked away twice when coming to ask a question; no price on clearance 4x8 wood sheet, guy came and could hear him just throw out a number which was very high for the condition of the boards. Left quite unhappy for wasting the gas and time. Should have gone to Lowes.

I definitely prefer Menards over Home Depot or Lowes. I feel like Menards has a better selection, more my style and taste, than what I typically find at HD or Lowes. Employees have always been very helpful and friendly.
