Anytime I go into aquatics galore the service is above and beyond. By far the BEST fish store in the area. I’ve not seen one better. The friendly staff is always patient with me even though I ask so many questions and it’s super awesome they are extremely knowledgeable in just about every way possible. Prices are also very fair for both fish and fish products. I hope they stay in business for a very long time. You don’t get service like this often. Go to aquatics galore for all your fish needs!

The staff is great and the prices affordable. They have a great selection of frags in all price ranges. Some of their holding tanks could use some TLC but the better of the Dayton fish stores they are.

We enjoyed our first visit here. Workers were knowledgeable and helpful. They have good selection of fresh water and salt water and more! We will definitely come back again.

Everyone was super helpful and was nice. I went in to start up my 10 gallon tank. They helped me pick all the fish out. Well after 6 hours of the fish being in the new tank we had a couple die and so we went back to get a replacement and test the water… water tested FINE. We came back and put them in and then some other ones died(long story short they ALL died) . We called back and they said to come back the next day to get replacement but when the next day came around we called and was told we wouldn’t receive over $150 dollars after listening to everything they told us to do. Also when selling us fish they sold us things that would have been to big for our tank. So don’t do what we did and listen to them or anyone and do your own research. Disappointed and won’t go back .. at least you have a pillow to lean back on if it’s at another store.

The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have an excellent stock of both fresh and salt water fish. The down side, I spent $70 on 4 female/2 male guppies, a cory and 3 mystery snails. The 2 males and a snail died within a week. So that's a fair bit of money for dead fish. I will go back, at least 2 more times and hope for a better outcome.

Great place to shop at I buy so many things from this store they are a great place to come and shop at if your just getting into saltwater or fresh water they can help you with any questions you have

Surprisingly huge inventory and selection. For fellow planted aquarium people, they have a ton of equipment I haven’t found readily available anywhere else in Ohio. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Between this place and Gerbers, us aquarists are absolutely spoiled here in Dayton.

Huge place with heart. They have a lot of selection, so many fish, with a wonderful (smaller) collection of reptiles. Ball pythons, boas, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, a lot of really great stuff. Employees are great and very helpful!

Aquatics Galore is a solid local fish store if you are looking for freshwater, marine, or coral livestock and also aquariums and dry goods. Just beware of the hours before you venture to the store especially if it’s on a weekend.

Aquatics Galore is a good place to find supplies for snakes and they have a good variety of snakes and reptiles available. I bought my Red Tail Boa from them, Ramses is as sweet as can be. 5/5 for service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good selection of pets and supplies.

This is definitely my go to LFS!! They always have what I need or are willing to get it for me. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. The aquariums are clean, the selection is great. Some of the best saltwater corals available locally. I highly recommend Aquatics Galore!!😊👍

These people are very kind! They care you are in their store. They have a large selection of goods. However, the fish aren't the healthiest. Last time I was there, there was potentially ich and flukes going around. And I saw dead fish being eaten. I want to give a better review, but I just can't.

Appalling reptile care here. I was shocked to see some baby snakes in less than 3 gallon sized tanks with a single hide, ball pythons with hides that were too small, and more. Most animals were on dirty paper towels, didn’t have water dishes, or any kind of clutter or hiding spots to make them feel safe. There was even a chameleon up front in an enclosure the size that would be fit for a crested gecko. Poor guy barely had enough room to turn around.

I get my live mice for my ball python here, they are so helpful, and are very insightful. For both reptiles and aquatics they are very helpful!

nice selection of healthy plants and fish. definitely have more saltwater species to select from than freshwater. one of my favorite places in the Dayton area.

No one helped us, we were interested in the reptiles. No one spoke to us. We asked a question and we got a sarcastic answer and then ignored.. I was going to buy a few items but no one wanted to check out and they were more interested in each other. 1 star for the cool animals and fish, but 0/10 for customer service.

Recently a family member purchased a 220 gallon tank. The tank top frame had hair line cracks on both braces. It was noticed at the time of purchases. However it was made out as not a big deal. As the tank was filling up the front started to bow. The tank was quickly drained and store contacted. Cody only suggestion was to get a metal brace. Which would not actually fix the problem. The tank maker is out of business and no replacement can be found. The owner offers no refund for product sold at store. Wasn't marked sold as is. Return policy is vague. No refund offer or at least a partial refund. Watch what you purchase at this store!!

I have had mixed encounters with this store. Sometimes things are fine, but I’ve gotten fish from them that had ick, live rock with aiptasia and majanos, and inverts that die within days of being transitioned to my tank. The employees are helpful, or at least try to be. They sound confident in what they say to fix tanks or care for fish but multiple times they’ve been wrong. Either they don’t know what they’re talking about or they are lying to sell products, neither of which is a good option. I can’t bring myself to come back here even with a few positive experiences because of these things.

Pro: Lots of accessories for fish and reptiles.Con: Reptiles aren't taken care of properly. The enclosures aren't properly attended to, and all of the snakes had mites! It is very concerning.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! It was like hanging out with friends. I've been to other aquarium stores and have waited 20 minutes before finding help from an employee but the two guys working this last Saturday (10/23/21) were very quick to say hello and offer assistance. I had lots of questions and they were very kind to answer all of them. The selection of fish, snails, and plants and everything are awesome! Everyone was happy and healthy, no dead fish hanging out at the bottom or floating at the top. I'm so happy with how our tank looks! Will definitely be back! Thank you guys! :)
