I had a simple diy job on a pool pump, I went to 4 different establishments and talked to associates and not one person was able to help me the way Dan did. He even gave me a piece of pipe for free to complete my job. If you need pool services I guarantee this is the guy for you. Very helpful

Well we are winding down with our first season of having a pool and what a season it has been. In the end we have a spectacular pool from some really great people. Thank you Dan and Joe for seeing the job through to the first cannonball. My kids have had an incredible summer and family and friends have enjoyed out backyard like you could not believe.

I called all over to try to get an estimate for a pool heater for acouple months . Many places promised to get back to me, then didn’t. I tried 4 places and nobody had time to come over to give me an estimate. Then I called Sunburst, they sized my heater over the phone and said they could order it right away. I ordered it and they installed it within a week. It works great with my pool, very happy. They also are very helpful in solving water issues whenever we need help. Joe and Dan really know pools!

This company was very helpful when it came time to help my disabled friend and his pool that he loves so much. He has taught me how to do things to make it easier to understand how a system works and together with the help of this awesome company we are on the right path of making the system work like a new one. My previous company rushed through the training, gave no chemical training and wanted us to drive 25 miles every week to have our water tested. Long but informative review. We called this place when we took the cover off our pool and found our liner we just replaced summer of 21’ (installed by another company) was pulling out of the coping in a few spots. Initially they were responsive, came right out told me they could easily reset the liner and would be back the next day. Several days went by and they didn’t call or show up. I called and spoke to Dan who proceeded to promise they would be out “if not today worst case scenario tomorrow”. Again, several days went by and nothing. No call, nothing. Finally I called and spoke to the owner, Joe, who was very rude- however his crew did show up that day to start the repair. They were here for approximately 25 minutes before one of the crew was knocking on my door telling me Dan needed to speak to me. Dan proceeded to tell me that where my steel wall and vermiculite meet is leaking allowing ground water to come in and pull the liner out of the coping and it needs sealed with hydrostatic concrete as well as my liner needed replaced. Again, this liner was brand new in 21. Dan proceed to instruct me to drain the pool the rest of the way and they would be back “tomorrow” to do the repairs with the concrete and measure for the new liner. No one ever showed up, Dan eventually stopped taking my calls. So we called TWO other companies, who came out and advised that ground water can, does and is supposed to come in where the vermiculite and steel walls meet (when the pool is full the pressure of the water in the pool keeps ground water out forcing it into the gravel around the pool). And that you would never get it to seal. They also advised that my current liner was fine and could be reset (despite Sunburst advising me to drain it and not returning, allowing it to sit for weeks with little to no water, which usually ruins the elasticity of a liner). The company we chose to do the work came the next day, reset the liner and filled it. So long story short, we received poor response, inaccurate info and we’re almost charged for unnecessary work/materials. Dan at Sunburst advised me on May 25th to drain my pool the rest of the way, it is now June 19th and I’ve still heard NOTHING from Dan or anyone at Sunburst. As far as they know I’m still waiting on them to do the work and due to their lack of communication they are apparently OK with leaving customers waiting like that. 0/10 recommend.

Joe was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, we had a few bad experiences with getting help with our above ground pool and Joe put me in touch with a colleague of his. Brad was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable and his communication was great, he kept me abreast of everything he was going to do. He provided me with reassurance, knowing the past experiences that I've had, he put my mind at ease by writing up a contract, replaced my liner, winterized my pool and coming back next year to open it.Joe got a gorgeous liner for me. Very happy customer 😀

If you need pool service, I recommend Sunburst. The staff are friendly and responsive. I had some issues with my pool, they jumped right on it and had it resolved quickly. Couldn't have asked for better service! I needed some replacement parts for my older pool, and when I called, they had the parts available, and to save me a trip to the store (more than an hour away), he shipped the parts to my house. Consider me a very happy customer!

These people are sharks! I returned a pumped yesterday, they ran my debt card and said that my money would be refunded. I have yet to see the money post to my account. I contacted Chase and they said that it isn't even showing as pending. Run as far away from this business as you can. Horrible money hungry people!

Sunburst pools are the best.I'm with this company for 17 years, they did in the ground pool for me .And every year, they come to open and close the pool. This year, they did liner for me ,very professional, they did excellent work, I really recommend them for future.

Two days ago Dan "opened" our pool and discovered that our pump and flow valve needed to be replaced (water was leaking from multiple places).It was an older system and we knew it was coming at some point.Dan actually installed the pool in the deck of our home 30 years ago, long before we owned the home. It was just by the grace of God I happened to contact Dan at Sunburst Pools while calling multiple companies to open the pool. They have opened and closed our pool for the past 2 seasons.Dan immedieatly ordered the replacement peices we needed. He called me to let me know it would be cheeper to replace the entire filter system then just the 2 peices that were bad. How cool is that! He scheduled us for a Saturday installation. The price was more than realsonable. To our joyful surprise he had one of his crews out here TODAY, A DAY EARLY to get everything installed.It was POORING rain today. It was on the cool side and a miserable day to be working in the rain.The crew Dan sent was AMAZING! Not a single complaint about working the the weather. They were SO professional, thorough and KIND! They finished the job quickly and made certian everything was perfect before they left. My husband and I were so impressed!Sunburst pools has our 5 star recomendation again! Great hours and super helpful. I called one store and they said it would take 12 weeks to order a part. I called Sunburst and they had it in stock. The price was good and I walked out the door feeling confident about how to replace the part. Sunburst will become "the pool store" after this experience!

This is a small business which I love to support. The owner was professional, courteous and attentive. I needed pieces for my pool and was unsure of what exactly I needed. After a summer of swimming in a Sunburst pool, I can't imagine having a metal pool. Sunburst pools are solid. We love it! From our first visit with Joe to Lee, Brad and Chris installing the pool. Customer service has been top notch; They are a lot of fun to work with. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just had an above ground pool purchased and installed from Sunburst and love how everything has turned out. Joe was incredibly sweet and really worked with us and our budget to still allow us to get the pool of our dreams. Lee and his pool building crew got everything built and installed for us in a timely manner, and with any questions or concerns we had he was open and honest with us about everything. Joe is really a great guy.... we worked with his competitor across the street a few years ago, and long story short, the new liner we purchased just 3 years ago didn't last and we had to get another new liner this year. Joe is VERY knowledgeable about all things pool related. Although the spring was a very wet one, which makes it hard for them to do installations, Joe kept in contact with us the whole time and came out every nice weather day he could to keep the process moving. He even helped us with a separate water issue that was well outside his contract with us. Since switching to SUNBURST pools & spas (which is very separate from the one across the street!!), our pool costs have gone down tremendously, the maintenance has gone down, and we now have a beautiful properly installed liner! Thanks Joe and Team!

Then when Lee and Alex came out to dewinterize and install needed parts, they sealed the deal. We will continue to use and recommend sunburst pools to any and all! Contacted the store and spoke to Joe to inquire about purchasing pool chemicals. I asked him what the cost was and his response was "I didn't know chlorine could be so technical". Rudest person I've dealt with in a long time. I have no idea how this guy is still in business with such poor customer service skills. I'm sure this is something he turns off and on depending on whats in it for him. Sorry I wasted your time attempting to purchase from your store. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Owner Joe answered every question with a question. I asked about saltwater systems. He asked me if I would wash my car with salt water. I asked about concrete around an inground pool. He asked me how it would feel if I took off my shoes and walked around on the asphalt. I asked about fiberglass, and he asked me what happens to an ice cube in a tray. I asked him for quotes on paper 3 times. He showed me old pictures and threw out some general numbers... high teens for above ground and high 30s for inground. I asked about steps, and that was another 5k. I asked if he had a warranty on his pools. He said the wood was guaranteed from manufacturer for 50 years but he only offered a 1 yr warranty. At this point I was just irritated, but when he handed me his card and said everything was custom made in the United states.... then he added "no rice". No Thanks Joe! I'll take my high 30's elsewhere.
