I believe the associates name was Conner. He was so helpful and took time to take me around the store and show me items that would be a good fit for my new puppy. It was very refreshing to encounter such good customer service. This location is not the closet to my home, but I will be back knowing the level of service provided.

I went in to look for a harness for my new puppy. We was greeted as soon as we walked in, asked if we needed help finding anything. We were showed where the harness's were. Every employee was very friendly and helpful.We will definitely be returning for more items and food for our new puppy

We stopped in to get a fish for my son’s little starter aquarium. I feel like I was asked more questions, almost being interrogated, than I would have been asked to adopt a dog. Every fish he chose- basically knocked down. Then, he settled on some Mollys. But 3 get 1 free. She explained how they’re community fish and do better with 4’s. I asked for two, and a snail in which she replied “I can let you do that”. Train your pet lovers that work there to care without being condescending towards younger pet lovers. 12/30/23All in all, we left the store and went to Petland where they were worlds more helpful.

Horrible! The Groomers does not follows directions! I most certainly will not be coming back fees on top of fees when it’s the groomer job to do what is supposed to be done. What is a groomer? I asked my my puppy to be cut low even on her head because I do not want her to be looking like a traditional poodle. Why I receive my baby and they leave hair on her head when that isn’t what I asked. I EVEN SHOWED A PHOTO. Very unprofessional. She clearly sat through her first appointment very good for them to have her for 3 hrs. And at that the haircut is uneven they didn’t shape her face or anything! Left longs stands of hair on her face and all that was never cut. I WILL NEVER SCHEDULE HERE AGAIN. Lack of following directions but want charged for someone you did not do? Should’ve known young people can never get the job done! TRASH SERVICE!! I want what I asked for and a traditional poodle look is not what I was going for for my baby! She isn’t a traditional poodle! I hate her whole haircut and it was $70 for you not to listen? Only came here because she needed a cut bad! But I shall not make that mistake again! Take your animals to professional groomers who pride themselves on doing everything right.

No one came to help even though I asked.cashier’s arguing at register. Line had 5 or more people with 3 cashiers.only one cashier actually helped people. Not a good look. I left with out getting what I came for.

Trinity bathed and cut my yorkie and did an amazing job. He was so happy after his appointment and begged to see her again next time. Best groomer he has ever seen.

They finally have ferrets!!! They were not able to get ferrets for a long time and now they finally have some! They are absolutely adorable too! They are all female right now. If you love animals and were thinking about a ferret, go check out the Petco in Englewood!

So I should have never took my puppy here for grooming! I only took her here because I was in a bind and they only required up to date rabies shot. Initially her grooming fee was 43.10 but when we discussed the details I agreed to their “spa package” ($66). This place claimed my puppy was biting the groomer as they attempted to brush her. My puppy doesn’t bite first. Second she loves to play. And third she loves belly rubs. They apparently bathed her while she was matted and then blow dried and attempted to brush. You can’t expect to brush mats after all of that. She has always gone to PETSUITES BY THE DAYTON MALL without any issue. This place washed and blow dried my dog and called me but did not leave a message. I figured after two hours which is normal for her she must have been ready. I had my cousin pick her up for me and they told her we didn’t have to pay because my puppy would not let her brush her. My cousin said my puppy started out of there so fast. She was sad the entire day tail between her legs. She could not see because of the blow out. I’m sharing three pictures of what petco did and one photo of what she normally looks like. Do not go there. Go see professionals. And on another note they have like no clothes to choose from. The staff there don’t speak. They all have flat affects no expression never anywhere to be found when u need something. I did not call or go in to address my concern because I was so pissed and it was my birthday. Thanks but no thanks!!!

Petco has staff that are very helpful. They assisted me with finding the right bird food for my son's bird feeder. She was nice and knowledgeable about the different feeding options. She allowed me to pick the best one for my pockets. Kindness is hard to come by these days. Thank you

We adopted a kitten on the 4th of October brought him home bathed him and he had quite a few fleas so waited until a few days ago still had fleas he wasn't acting right yesterday took him to the vet today he died. He had a parasite so if anyone who gets a kitten there check for fleas. I will never get another cat from them again. So very disappointed.

My husband took our dog to get her nails trimmed many times before here at this location and today they sent her home with a bleeding paw. when he called to notify them of the problem he was told "what are we supposed to do about that" horrible customer. service, wouldn't offer any type of reimbursement or anything to make up for their terrible job they did on my dogs nail trim

Just overall bad experience. Very difficult to find what you're looking for as store is not organized well. Very pricey. Took a while to get any help. And when I did finally get what I was looking for I waited for atleast 5 minutes for someone to show up at the register. Noone else in line. They have a bell... This has happened twice now. Idk. They seemed alittle busy with training stuff but there were alot of employees just doing nothing. Probably won't go back. Sucks there aren't many pet stores around this area. Hoping they improve at some point.

This is the 2nd time I've been to this location and had to wait in line because the cashier was on the phone. I stood in line for 4 minutes (with no one in front of me) and watched a lady chit chat on her cell phone. It was the same associate both times. I suspect she is racist and refuses to deal with people of different ethnicities. A coworker from the back eventually came up to help Me. She needs to find a job where she doesn't have to deal with different people. I am totally disgusted by her.

Called this Petco this morning after being told they do accept turtles. I explained to TJ, after asking if he's a manager, I wanted to get the RIGHT info if driving that far! Told him the type, SIZE, ALL the details he would need to rather or not they could take the turtle. He didn't hesitate, said yes, would take it! He said they'd treat it, make sure it was healthy, quarantine it for amount of time & would only sell to trusted turtle owners. I said I would be down either soon or sometime today, 08/17/23. I also explained the distance, 40 minutes ONE WAY! Got there, the young lady cashier came over, she went to get TJ, he was feeding snakes, be out in 5 minutes, no problem. It gave me a chance to see if the place would reassure me about leaving it there. I did mention my concern about the turtle tank, the water was very forceful due to the filter, it would suck this baby turtle right up. Still waiting, a GM lady came in, the girl talked to her about it, since I was on hold with TJ (I was very patient). Young lady walks back over, said they canNOT take it, GM told her that. I had been very optimistic but sad driving down...got attached to it, but being older & some health issues that came up, I felt I needed to surrender it. I said to her, I drove all the way here, was VERY specific on the phone with TJ, etc. She said it's too small, I told him on the phone the SIZE of it!!! Neither TJ nor the GM either one offered to come to me, they made the young lady handle it! Shame on them both! I've worked retail, TJ should've showed face & gave a sincere apology! Better yet, offer my GAS MONEY back I spent!!!!!!!! I said I'd do a review, here it is. YES, everyone makes mistakes, there was NO excuse for this one! I was told by Petco in Troy even ahead of time, that Englewood would take, but TO call, I DID!! Thanks to the young lady, I know at least she felt bad! She was very sweet! She should be the manager!
