The strawberry shortcake that I ordered was horrible the shortcake was dry stale tasting and hard!!!! Down through the years I have always ordered their strawberry shortcake and it has always been delicious but this year when I ordered it, it was awful the shortcake tasted like it had been left over from last year needless to say I will not be ordering strawberry shortcake from JD's custard ever again!!!!!

Dr. J and missy recommended this ice cream parlor and we made the trip! My wife and I shared a large hot fudge sundae with vanilla ice cream. It was creamy and delicious like grandpa s ice cream of old. My grandson got a "trash can" and he loved it! My next trip i would love to try there lemon ice cream:)

I have gone here about 15 times now and I order a large s’mores sundae each time. I would say about 13/15 times that I have come, the shake has been the exact same. I would go a lot more if they had a drive thru but you have to walk up and order and most times they have a long line. I went with my bf this time and he ordered the Hershey Dark chocolate shake and I got a large s’mores sundae for 5.25. His complaint was that the chocolate was not “dark” or very bitter. I am not a fan of dark chocolate and finished his shake for him. It was sweet and not bitter or anything, it tasted like milk chocolate.

Seasonal, LONG lines and wait but worth it in the summer especially for kids. Great location across from Centennial Park. Great custard and menu options! Parking is crowded and small, and it is very crowded outside almost at all times. There are a few picnic tables outside and small bar/tables to sit indoor.

Fun cow decorations and excellent custard make JD's worth a visit!In addition to great flavor the custard had a thick silky texture, unlike some others that start to get soupy quickly. The waffle cones have a less dense texture and more egg forward flavor than many, similar to a pizzelle.

First time here and omg! Srove all the way from Winchester, IN to try it..hour drive. Gotta say...id have driven 2 hours for the Buckeye Delight! Phenomenal service, out of this world flavor. Only thing that disgusted me was I was 51 before I discovered this gem!😆 YOU GOTTA GO FOLKS!

I was wowed by how good the plain vanilla and chocolate are!! I normally only eat vanilla with toppings, but not even needed here!!I had JD Custand’s cater my wedding and oh what a hit it was!!! They conveniently had each flavor in separate cups with lids. No fuss, no mess!The owner are so kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend them for getting your frozen dessert cravings satisfied or catering your next event!

JD's was great. As it is closed during the winter months, my hubby & I await its opening (usually around May?) like the dawning of Spring. We especially like the LEMON CUSTARD!! Cant get LESS than 2 scoops! We got that yesterday--1st visit of the opening season. Our daughter & granddaughter got something different. The varieties seem endless! The pineapples on my banana split tasted, and smelled like the most acidic baby puke that ever graced my tongue. The smell of puke lingered on my boat shaped cup, as I finished my banana split. Idk how I made it through all that I did. Don’t order their banana splits

Their frozen custard treats are delicious and reasonably priced. It's a nice environment to eat and spend time with family, couples, and children. It's even across the street from a park if you want to have more fun before or after to cool off in this heat
