My 95lb German Shorthaired Pointer/ Rottweiler mix Hank first time ever at the groomers! He did just fine and they treated him so well! He looks amazing and well cared for. The price was reasonable only $40 for bath, drying, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Thank you for taking great care of my pup! Since he has hip dysplasia I was a little nervous but I will definitely be back! Highly recommend checking this place out if you have time on your hands and can freely pick up your dog whenever they are ready!

I was very disappointed as a new customer. I have two male Doodles. I called this groomer for a consultation and quote before scheduling an appointment. My groomer was Breezy. She observed both dogs and ask me how I wanted them cut. I actually gave her comb and clipper sizes from my previous groomer as a guide. My previous groomer recently retired from doing big dogs, reason being why I needed a new groomer. I comb my dogs out at least twice a week. I also invested in a professional grooming table. All to avoid matting. Breezy quoted me a price of $150.00. When she called me to pick up my boys, she told me the credit card machine wasn't working and I had to pay by check or cash. I was planning to use my charge card. Also when I got there, I didn't recognize my guys. They were cut so close. Normally their body is close but their legs are full. She told me they had a little matting behind their ears, otherwise they were combed out well. At our consultation, I told her I wanted their faces to stay curly like a doodle, but she cut their faces slick like a poodle. She also cut the hair between their pads so close that two days after their visit, they had licked their pads so much that they were fiery red and irritated. I had to get professional help to get them some relief. Breezy then complained that my boy Blue peed on the floor and that he was cage aggressive when she tried to put a noose on him to bring him out of the kennel. She said she would give him another chance on his next appointment to bond with her. She said she doesn't work with dogs that don't. First of all, every dog's temperament is not the same. Blue is nervous when it comes to strangers. But if you're patient and take a moment to let him settle down, he's fine. Try making friends or offer him a treat. After all, this is his first visit. On the other hand, Boss, my year old is very sociable and loves everyone. Therefore, Breezy didn't complain about him. In addition to my bad experience, Breezy told me that she couldn't schedule my next appointment for 12 weeks and my cost would increase because their coats will be longer. My guys are groomed every 5 weeks. So, she's penalizing me because she doesn't have anything sooner. I took the appointment but knew I'd keep looking for another groomer. I shared my experience with my old friend and groomer. She was heartbroken that we had such a bad experience and told me to cancel my next appointment with Coats and Tails and bring the boys back to her. I'm grateful for my old groomer's love and compassion for Blue and Boss. All groomers should have compassion and a love for dogs. You never know a dogs past experience with people. Some just need a little extra TLC. Breezy did not possess that quality. I felt unwelcomed from the start. I was happy to cancel my appointment and I can't recommend Coats and Tails to anyone with a doodle.

Today, I took our 9 month old puppy Kelly to Coats & Tails for the first time. We've taken our mature dog Max there several times and have always been happy with the grooming. As previously with Max, the groomer did an excellent job for a good price. I will definitely take both back here for grooming.

My goldendoodle was extremely matted and terrified of going back to the groomer since we had a bad experience elsewhere. Breezy did a great job without having to shave her completely. I'm very happy with the shop. She offered some good advice on caring for her coat. Great pricing too. I'll be taking my other dog there as well ❤

We've been using coats and Tails. For over 10years Kathy her mom and the gang that work there. Are truly awesome. First they truly care about the well-being of your pet. On top of that they Do a wonderful job. Of Grooming shampooing nail clipping And taking care of your pet. We used to live close To their store and now we're over 20 miles away. Why the variating pricing on cutting nails? Used to 5$ then another visit it was 7$, I questioned it and was told there was a price increase. Ok,I can understand that but my next visit its 6$. Just today- a half hour ago, had his his nails done, expecting it to be 6$ and she came out with my dog and said it was 7$?? So while she is getting me change I look at his paws and she didn’t trim the hair around his paws and nails, so she had to take him back in and finish the job. Not a big deal and not about the money. Just need some consistency.

Wouldn't ever take my dog any place else. Been taking my dog there for just over 20 years now, 3rd dog now. They never knick the dogs nipples. Love the whole crew. 5 stars.
