Great resource if you're anywhere in the Lima community. These folks had a list months ago if you wanted asparagus crowns, seed potatoes, many kinds of onion sets and shallots, so I added my name and my neighbor's. Got a call when each item arrived, and the quality was so much better than the big box stores. Their seeds sprout, the advice is great, they'll even pass on community info if they have it, like where's a good place to get something they don't have. Ask all your questions and you'll get really helpful answers. These folks really understand customer service--you can even call ahead and they'll have it ready to load into your vehicle in their drive-through area. Highly recommend.Don't forget to pick up fresh farm eggs before you go.

Very helpful and polite. I wasn't sure about the topsoil I received and questioned it. The young man I talked to was considerate, explained it and said if I want to return the purchase I could. I told him "I'll keep it and trust you that it is a good purchase". I read up on it and it was just like he explained. He was a true gentleman.

One of the few places to grab my dogs hypoallergenic food, and one of the cleanest feed stores I have ever been in! I did not think it was possible to keep floors clean when you have products like specialty dog food, fresh fruits and veggies, building materials, and hobby items! Their product variety and employee friendliness made me want to always make it my store for certain needs! Don't forget to wave to the store's heckin' good boy :)

The employees are always friendly and always very helpful and if you get anything and you need help loading it they help.I think that they have very reasonable prices and I will shop there for what I need and they are the ones with the best price on wood pellets for your pellet stove and in my opinion they have the best wood pellets.

Great service. They load heavy bags of salt in my car for me. The only store that sells white millet bird seed which my birds don't waste. Always a pleasure going to this store.

There is not a single employee that isn't willing to help you out, get you what you need, and have you on your way. There is indoor drive thru services, outdoor landscape products, tools, pet food, plants, propane, and sometime even some live chicks!My kids especially love their peaches, and I'm usually lucky to get one myself because the family loves eating them!Being able to get mulch, stone, pet food, fresh fruit & vegetables, garden tools, and much more in one place is very handy.There is a lot great things to say about Layman's, just not enough space here to tell about everything!-Kevin Brogee

The people and service here are 2nd to none. Great outdoor accessories for your house, lawn, and/or garden. A large variety of dog foods, toys, and bones. I always recommend the fresh produce, best in town. The Georgia Peaches are a must!
