This is our favorite local spot for ice cream !! Even the food is amazing!! We ordered burgers, coney dogs,fries, shakes and a Banana Split in a Cup. I love that I can get a smaller Banana Split just for me! The prices can't be beat either. Family of four fed for just under $40. With Shakes instead of cola. Absolutely love this place!! They have a drive up window and outdoor seating under a carport type build. Highly recommend!!❤️❤️❤️Parking: There are about 20 spots surrounding the building but there is street parking as well.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly! Kid size cones and food available.Wheelchair accessibility: There are booths designed for wheelchair use.

September 1st Edon Dairy Treat is our splurge & get out of the house place to go! Tried the Raspberry & Pineapple shakes today ! Very good ! THAT'S WHY WE KEEP GOING BACK!!UPDATE 4-1-2023 MY Wife's birthday is today & she wanted to go to Edon Dairy Treat to celebrate! The FOOD, STAFF/SERVICE WERE EXCELLENT!!!! THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR FOOD & SERVED US!!! YOU ALL MADE HER BIRTHDAY AWESOME!!!We took a Sunday drive, just to get out of the house & town for a bit. No place in mind to go, just go. Never been through most of the little towns we encountered today. It was around noon & we were hungry & thirsty, just happened to see the Edon Dairy Treat. We prefer mom & pop businesses over chain stores. You always get better tasting food & great service. That is EXACTLY what we received at this wonderful place! The place was busy & the wait for our order was definitely worth it ! Very impressed with the friendly service & the tasty food & how cozy the place was. Outdoor seating was nice, plentiful. The folks around the business, waiting for their orders were warm & welcoming, striking up a conversation with everyone, felt like being in our home town. We live about an hour away from Edon. My wife says they have the best onion rings she had ever had! We had burgers, very nicely made & tasty, breaded mushrooms & a float & shake. Ice cream was delicious in them, flavored to perfection !! My wife & I will making this our Sunday afternoon getaway place of choice, at least one time a month!!! They have something Great & Special with this shop, We hope they don't change a thing with what they do!

If you’re looking for some good fried food, ice cream, and service with a smile- then come here! Everything is freshly prepared and the ice cream products are amazing. The prices are more than fair for what you receive (even in today’s economy where everything is inflated). The employees must enjoy their jobs because I have yet to receive bad service or a non-smiling employee. If you have questions about their products, the employees are knowledgeable about them and will accommodate most requests (like topping variations for food and ice cream). Even with a wait, the food and atmosphere are well worth it!

This is the best burger and ice cream place in our area. The owners are very good people and hire the local kids to help. Very friendly atmosphere.

We were in the area recently, passing through while returning from New York and searching for places to eat. Google didn't even bring up this choice when we looked, so we were pleasantly surprised to see this unassuming place. The staff was friendly, the prices great, the food was good and it is made to order, so there is a slight wait, but nothing more than a few minutes. There is an outside seating area with a handful of tables and it's fun to take in the ambience of small town life. If you're in the area, stop, you won't be disappointed.

Great ice cream, good burgers, sauces and condiments are on top, and it makes the perfect job for 14-15 year olds. My son wanted to apply, but he is a year too young. Great service and on schedule servings, and overall it’s just a great place to work and eat. It also has some local JH and High School students that are smart and especially kind and content. Definitely recommended

Super friendly staff, even when super busy! Love the pizza burger with pickles added. I enjoy the lemon ice cream with whatever flavor of the week. I always ask for a face of candies to be added :0) They also have other great snacks if you want more to eat like the mozzarella sticks. A wonderful gem of NW Ohio.

Edon Dairy Treat is the best ice cream place in the tri-county area. I go there at least once a week. They have great flavors of ice cream and their food is the best. You definitely get your money's worth here. Highly recommend it.

I work construction and was hoping for a good ice cream and I was very disappointed. I ordered the brownie sunday and it only came with 8 pieces of hard brownie and vanilla ice cream. What kind of brownie Sunday is that! Worst $4.25 I've ever spent
