As a šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ tourist, I had a ball looking around all the different products. These guys are big on Soda & Chips (crisps).Had to try some candy and cakes.

I am beyond angry at this place. Scott Bell is zero help. They hide bad produce and refuse to make things right. I have been disappointed w/ the selection ,quality and lack of consistency in their stock and produce. If I could rate them less than a star I could.

Kroger brand products are just as good as the "national name brands" and at far better prices. This Kroger is small compared to some others, but the store carries everything that you need. It is a very clean, well-organized store that went a "renovation" about a year ago. I like the layout; the different departments are well-stocked; the staff are friendly (most of them know you as a regular); it is the best place to shop for groceries in Eaton. Walmart may, on occasion, have a certain item or two on sale that are lower than Kroger by a few pennies, but on your overall grocery bill you will save A LOT of money by shopping at Kroger. Plus, in my opinion, Kroger brand items are far superior to Walmart's "Great Value" brand.I also like the Kroger mobile app more than Walmart's. It allows you to add coupons to your card even while in the store, which can be of great convenience. Then during checkout, all the coupons that you have on your card are automatically taken off. Based upon your shopping history Kroger will send coupons to you in the mail. They will include some free items that you buy a lot of, and savings on other items that really add up. When combined with their regular sale prices you can really save quite a bit of money. I have shopped at Kroger for about ten years and I am a customer for life. This store (although it is not that large) is a great place to shop. As I stated earlier, it is clean, well-stocked, and staffed with friendly employees. I do wish that the meat department was a little larger, but that will not keep me from giving five stars. The store has a "down home" feel about it, and I like that quite a bit. I will always shop here; locally; instead of driving some distance to a larger Kroger "Market Place." I do recommend this Kroger for fast and friendly service. And for being stocked well enough to cover all your grocery shopping needs.

Very small store, however the selection hit 90% of what I was looking for. It wad also appreciated that the door doesn't have any self checkouts and the staff were personable and willing to help me find things and willingly checked me out with my purchase.

All in all, this isn't a bad store but it is very small and outdated. Unless Kroger steps up their game & renovates and expands this store, it's probably not going to survive much longer, especially with rumors of an Aldi coming to town.

The employees are all amazing!!! I love the store better than other Krogers that are oversized. Also all those complaining about prices not being right learn to properly download coupons, guarantee itā€™s operator error and not Kroger. I never see this issue with pricing unless I donā€™t load my coupon. We live in a world with digital coupons and if you havenā€™t learned that by now donā€™t blame the store. Also I call bull on most the negative reviews, the store is clean, the staff is amazing, canā€™t have employees if people wonā€™t work today and this is everywhere, very quick to get long lines down and stock goes by population and same reason Walmart is always low on stock. This is why we couldnā€™t keep things at Kmart because it went by population and they donā€™t consider surrounding towns. Bagging your own groceries? Are you serious? Entitled much šŸ˜‚. Stock is regularly gone through daily and very rare you will get molded items. Most stores if any do not hold items. Guarantee these are people who got panties in a twist and wanted to try to hurt them with a bad review. Definitely not an avoid at all cost store.

This is one of the worst Krogers I have been to in terms of customer service experience. My wife went for groceries this morning and the cashier joked with another customer about the amount of groceries she had. Then my wife whose pregnant bagged her own groceries while the cashier provided minimal help. While putting away the produce we found mold on half of the items. Will not be back and will tell others to stay away. We would rather use a self checkout than have these awful experiences. Much cheaper for company too

I like Kroger a lot better than Walmart .the employee's are not afraid to help you.walmart employees act that they are mad because they are helping people

they treat their employees awful and thereā€™s usually only one or two registers open with a very long line. in the picture there were four employees standing in an all just talking about random stuff. people would try to get through and they wounding even move.

Let's see...no u- scans in store (only 2 cashiers with 8 people in each line), store is severely outdated (looks like it was last updatedin 1983), red vest MIA('out to lunch - back in 30 minutes at 6 PM'???), NO turkey in store. Just wanted a turkey breast. This place needs SERIOUS help from corporate.

11/2022 EDIT: I like to shop the ad, but so often lately they don't have sale items. By this, I don't mean they're sold out. I mean the distribution center doesn't even send the items or only sends a couple (an employee confirmed this to me). This feels like bait-and-switch to me... Or a way to get you in the store and then not have what you came for.Meat selection has become poor. And most is not available upon request due to no longer processing meat that I can tell.Store itself often stinks/smells weird.Really seems like corporate has neglected this store BIG TIME.OLD Original Review:I shop here weekly. Affordable if you shop the ad. Friendly staff usually and good meat and produce departments. It would be nice if the store was more updated/larger, but otherwise it's a lovely little place to get your groceries.

Tried to buy Big Red pop. They hardly ever have it & refuse to hold it for me. Once the service desk gal chided me for 5 min about why they couldn't hold pop for customers. I used to merchandise for Pepsi at that store and know she lied. Only soda my picky spouse will drink. Only fluid he drinks. They had 1 12pk. He took it to the register. The sticker said 3 for $12. Cashier asked him if he had more he said that was all they had on the shelf. Instead of explaining he might go back and get 2 add 12pks to receive a better price she charged him 7.99 plus tax! I have had a deli boy refuse to wait on me after listening to him complain to a prior cust about the "mess" he just walked into. He was in the back very slowly boxing up fried chicken, peeking at us. Taking his time. My very pregnant daughter was getting tired so we left without a purchase. There are only 2 grocery stores in a pop of 14,000 with another community of 4,000 homes 4 miles away. 22 miles away from another nearest one. I SPEND LESS WHEN GIVEN POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Was great at one time, but now this is the saddest Kroger you'll see today. Very small and limited. Ooh, I'll get that one Kroger Deluxe ice cream there! Nope, they probably don't even have half of them. Bulk foods? Nope. Baked desserts from their bakery...? Not much to pick from.In the nearby city of Oxford, it's the exact opposite. Oxford isn't really a huge amount bigger than Eaton and their store competes easily with Krogers in the Cincinnati area. (Yes, there's a popular college there, but still a huge difference for the stores to share the same name)It's disappointing to see this one left behind. I pass by it daily, but almost always go to any other Kroger or just go to Walmart (ugh).

Update:. Can't remember last time I came here and they weren't out of something that I needed officially won't shop at the store anymoreReally nice people working here. However, the store is too small for surrounding population. As a result, they have very limited selection and tend to run out if sale items quickly. Really disappointed Kroger Corp seems to be not concerned as there is plenty of opportunity to expand.

So short staffed they couldn't keep up. And the service desk didn't say closed but the check out lady informed me that they won't be in until later. The line was so long and unorganized. 0/5 would recommend. They are completely a mess

My experience is always Awesome! Store is clean, food is fresh and they have the most awesome employees that I have ever had take care of my needs ! I have lived in 10 states and no other Kroger bigger or smaller compares to my Eaton Store! Kudos to all my friends at Kroger!

I understand this is a small store and they do not carry everything the larger stores would carry, however they are always out of a lot of the items they do carry. Itā€™s very hard to get produce here, especially when they are constantly out. We recently bought a bag of potatoes and had to dig through the whole section to find a bag that looked decent. We get them home and cut them open to see they are almost all brown and black in the centers. They run out of sale items extremely quick and the managers tend to make ā€œdealsā€ with couponers and hold things in the back for them. The store is never prepared for holidays or times of the month when the store would be busy like when people get their food stamps or social security. The bakery has been less than satisfactory and has told us that they do not just ice cupcakes without an order like all the other Kroger stores around us do, and when we did place a large order for a birthday party it was messed up and iced wrong.

Forget it! I almost vomited AGAIN from the stench! That is definitely a biohazard of some sort. I thought this was cleaned up...guess I was wrong.

This small Kroger definitely needs an upgrade. Very small aisles and selections. You cannot social distance. The checkout belts are even warn and coming apart. Staff is friendly however that city would benefit with a Kroger Marketplace!

It's not the greatest Kroger's in the chain. It's a small store so there's a lot of things they don't carry. I get Kroger coupons for things this store doesn't even carry. They don't even have the whole line of their Private Select or Simple Truth brands. There's no pharmacy, very limited bakery, very limited gluten free, no gas station so getting points here doesn't do much good. It's not the quality of store I expect from Kroger's. I shop here but I usually expect to be disappointed.

People are nice. That being said they run out or have few variety of sale items especially 2 and 4 day sales. We usually end up driving to a bigger store in Richmond or Hamilton.

Employees are very friendly. The deli leaves a bit to be desiredSome items are swimming in mayonnaise /dressings which obscure the actual taste of the food, especially the chicken salad. I used Marsh/Needlers delI before, which was excellent. I hope more customers come forward with constructive comments so that I don't have to drive to Richmond for deli items. (I refuse to support Walmart.)

Worst thanksgiving experience weā€™ve ever had. Ordered a meal to be made and no one told us that they just send the ingredients and recipes and you do it on your own. We ordered it so we didnā€™t have to have the stress of cooking it and worrying over it. Then to go pick it up the day of our meal and see a loaf of bread for stuffing??? Weā€™ll be taking our business across the road to bob Evans. Your customer service sucks and we tried to get info and let me tell you your deli and cashiers need a refresher course on customer service.

I get ripped off every time I go here. The prices are never right. They advertise one price and charge you a much higher price, especially on sale items. This is why I hardly ever shop here anymore.

Small floor-plan so can't social distance inside. Most employees have either no mask on, or have nose outside mask. half of customers inside have no mask on (& you can't social distance inside). If these concern you, i suggest shopping somewhere else.

One of the smallest Kroger locations and starting to show is wear for being over 20 years old. Customers have asked for a new store for years. The customer service is always great and produce and meat stay fresh.

Had a question about the foil pans and the lady at Eaton Ohio act like you interrupted her day. Joyce had to come out of office get in a mobile device and go check out the deal . I thought it was buy one get one free and it was buy 2 get one free.so instead of bringing the pan up she made me go get another. Wouldn't complain but I have a serious back injury and I was in serious pain. Not to mention she is rude. Thanks for your time. Judy Holt 92 Wagers Drive, Camden, Ohio 45311

Extremely limited selection. 4/5 times you go in for something, they are out of stock. I like Krogers, shop there in Hamilton, but this little store needs to shut down and give it up to Walmart across the street.Sorry little guy, you just can't hang...

The only place within 20 miles that had ice melt last winter. Very nice, smaller, hometown feel when compared to other Kroger locations.
