This is a relatively new store; approximately three to four years old. It was my first visit to this particular Dollar general, and I was pleasantly surprised by the uncluttered aisles that I see at other Dollar General stores. It was very clean and well organized. I was driving near and made a quick stop for just one item. I went to Wal-Mart for a few things, and I forgot to pick up some Benadryl for my sister. So I thought I would stop and run into Dollar General to get it for her. I looked in the area where it should have been and could not find it. I looked for several minutes and I noticed that there was no one in line to check-out. So I asked the young sales associate if he could help me. He was very nice and came over and got it for me (I had overlooked it several times). We talked for several minutes as I paid for the Benadryl (no one was in line behind me). He was a very nice young man with a pleasant demeanor, and I enjoyed our conversation. He was professional and knowledgeable concerning his job (he went right to where the Benadryl was, and even bent down to the bottom row and picked it up for me). I usually don't encounter excellent service (with a smile) from such a young person at other stores. He seemed to really like, and take pride in, his job. I was impressed with him and the service he provided me. I would hope that all of their associates are as good as this young man. I recommend this store based upon this one (my first) visit. I will return when I am in Eaton and need something quickly.

The last two times I have been in this store the cashier is on their phone while taking care of customers. I do not think either sounded like an emergency. This time I went to the register with it's light on. As the cashier standing at another register signals me over and says "I'm over here on this one" I proceed to make my way to the other register as he is still talking and chuckling on his cell phone. He points to me and motions for me to place my things on the counter. I nicely let him know that I will wait until he is off his phone. He did end his call... not immediately but he did end it.Guess its hard to get good help these days with some respectable work ethic.

I went there a few times, and they have a new person called Wade...he is extremely professional and goes above and beyond his duty in order to make his customers happy!Excellent customer service...Dollar General should be extremely proud of him....Very pleased...Helen Meyer

Manager was rude lied to me as I was in the day before for a item . Purchased said item the day before . Was told they never carried item and I was wrong. After showing her the receipt for her store and item just the day before she left register area and refused to apologize or speak with me . I will not go to this store again . Every one here is hateful and unhelpful . Store is always got items on the floor .

Dollar General in West Milton I would not recommend going to. there's several ladies that work at this store that are just mean to people and they're very rude and talk about people and make derogatory comments. Talk to the manager and the woman straight lied to my face. I wouldn't even give this place one star! I'm sure this goes on in a lot of businesses but not to the point where the general public gets to hear them making comments and talk and smack like I have heard in this store. They need to go in and fire the whole crew and hire a crew that isn't going to sit And talk about everybody else in the community! Granted it is a somewhat small community but that does not make it right or any better.

Would rather go to a dollar store insteave of Wal-Mart any day! The people here are so nice n happy n greet you. They know where things are. They also will help you go find the item you need or go get it and bring it back. I seen a cashier do this for an elderly lady

This store is nasty and empty box's thorwen everywhere. They will not let you use the bathroom. No matter how bad you have to go. This store went from one of the best to the worst in about a year. Needless to say I will not set foot in this one again. To nasty for me and I'm not that picky. When I say it's bad, it's really bad.

It's a shame. This is a newer store & has REALLY went down hill. This store is ALWAYS a mess. U boats are always on the sales floor not even being used by the employees, just sitting there. Empty shelves and yet merchandise is displayed on the floor. Customer service needs improvement

I was at the one in Eaton, Ohio on north barron st. Today. It used to be a great and clean store. 4 weeks in a row it's been dirty thing thrown every where. Almost every iale is blocked. Box piled up in front of, more than half of the merchandise. I go in 2 or 3x a week there. I have never seen this store like this. Clean it up or I'm going else where. Just that simple.

Decent clerk. Help customer infront of me after he gave him the wrong change. Clerk brought three different kinds if items for me to choose from after I inquired about then. Very curtious.

It's a nice store but they leave there carts and stuff of stock in the middle of the isles and in front of products, so you can't view the items or get to the items.

850 South Barron st is way better. Staff at this location is very overly rude for no reason. Especially the older manager guy

It's a reasonable priced store for the items they carry. Your not going to find any highest quality items in this store. However if you need to pick up snack items, milk, pop, coffee, papergoods, over the counter meds, gift cards, some clothing, and even kids toys this store is faster than going to big chain stores. They normally have plenty of help for the store size so if your looking for something in particular just ask the staff will help get you to the right isle. These small stores seem to be popping up in every small town accross the country. Check them out you may find what your looking for a little cheaper in this store over the large chain stores.

If this is the one by the railroad tracks not good for someone that is in a power chair couldn't get around very well couldn't get down the aisles too crowded it was just a disaster my opinion

The whole store is a mess. Hard to walk around in. Hard to get anything of shelfs and find anything that you would be looking for!!
