We did the beginner training with Todd and absolutely loved it!! You can tell Todd truly cares about your dog and wants them to succeed. He goes above and beyond and I would 10/10 recommend him! We also love the cashiers and this location the best!

I visit this location and often just never done a review. The store is always clean and staffed with friendly and helpful employees. Plus, they bring the kitties in from the cat cottage, and you can maybe find a new friend. There is also a pet hotel inside the store. I got into an argument with the little man who is the manager of this store because some cat litter was mispriced or mis-stocked. The shelf price said $4.99 but it rang up $14.99. Most stores will adjust the price and move on. Apparently this manager missed the memo about customer acquisition and service. He basically told me to buy it at $14.99 or not. Won't be going there again. Watch what you're buying there. Prices may be wrong on other products

The ladies were so nice, but to spend $150 after up charges on a groom just to have my dog’s paws looking like raggedy grinch feet is disconcerting. What’s the additional fee for non-grinch paws?? Their nice attitudes saved them from a 1 star…

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Let’s start off by saying I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this place.We took our dog for his first grooming visit as a puppy. We were told it would take 2 hours and then we could pick him up. An hour after dropping him off my mother received a phone call from a VERY unprofessional young employee, stating there had been an accident and that our dog had FALLEN off the table and they “THINK” he broke his leg. OH WAIT IT GETS BETTER!!!Without our permission or knowledge they pick up our dog (who is in terrible pain mind you), put him in their PERSONAL CAR, and drove him to the vet of their choice. Which was FURTHER away than his own vet. You would think someone would have been very apologetic and sympathetic during this experience but NOPE not PetSmart.This incident occurred over 7 months ago and anytime we call to discuss the settlement they REFUSE to comply or are out on “vacation”. I am beyond upset with PetSmart’s management and corporation. Definitely don’t live up to the standard of “anything for pets” that they proclaim.If you’re reading this please save yourself the headache and go to a local groomer or a TRULY TRAINED professional. Our dog still has limping issues and can’t function like a normal dog to this day. Definitely a traumatic experience for us first time pet owners.

Recently sent my 3-month-old puppy in for his first trim. He was naturally scared and anxious, and PetSmart sent him back to us without a trim, saying they could not control him. What made matters worse was the trainer telling my wife afterwards that he was a bad dog and that we needed help training him (he's a 3-month-old puppy, but that seemingly did not occur to him). Ironically enough, due to our busy schedules, we already sought help and had been sending him to puppy school for weeks. They sent us a video the next day of him responding well to grooming training, and we have been working with him every day since without incident. Our vet also worked with him that week with no issue. Not sure that these guys are equipped to handle puppies. His grooming appointment a week later with another groomer could not have gone better! At a minimum, I'd say watch out for a trainer trying to sell training services by saying you have a "bad dog."

I am blown away how wonderful all the volunteers and employees were. The place was very friendly and it's just something about it that the dogs that felt easy to choose from. I met Buddy but then I clicked with Marvin. Now five hours later, he's sleeping on my foot after his shopping spree at pet smart.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and I feel so comfortable asking their advice. We bought a fish tank there that was on sale on a whim, and the employee who was in charge of the fish department advised us on everything: on some beginner guppies to start out with, what other species they got along with, what to feed them, what they like in their tank, everything! I really appreciated her assistance and experience. They also have free water testing which is a pretty awesome perk.

I really wanted to give five stars but after my last two experiences at the PetsHotel I just can't do that.Thank you to the first set of PetsHotel team members who were patient with my girl. You are very much appreciated.First visit was relatively smooth, got my dog all checked in and dropped off. She's an older dog and can be a bit timid around new people and environments. The PetsHotel associate who checked us in that time was very patient with her and allowed me to walk at least to the door to where they take the dogs back (fully understand that I am not allowed back there completely). When I dropped off I had asked if I could have one of my friends come to check on my dog during her stay and I was told that would be no problem. I gave the name of my friend and her phone number and that I authorized her as an agent for my dog.My friend shows up to check on her and she was told that she was not allowed to check on my dog or be given any information when I had authorized her as a person who could be given information.Fast forward to pickup, my fiancé goes to pick up our girl and when he arrives home he notices that we did not receive our first night free for being a new client (I had booked during a promotion that was going on at the time and we wanted to take advantage of the free night). Also we had sent our dog with some of her toys to make her stay more comfortable and found that one of her favorites had gotten torn and destroyed but shoved in the bottom of the bag as if we may not notice that hAd happened (didn't sit well with me).We were willing to give PetsHotel one more try so we brought her back to try again and I should have rethought my decision during this check in time. My girl was nervous yet again and really was timid going to the back. The PetsHotel associate tried to pull my dog on her harness and leash to get her to go back and was not being patient with her (not the same one from our first drop off).I had forgotten to send two bags of food for my dogs meals and they did call and let me know and asked if I wanted to do the house food for those two meals. I said yes at the time but I was able to return to the store that same night with the two forgotten bags of food and I informed the associate that those bags were her two missing meals and that I did not want the house food fed.When my fiancé went to pick our dog up at end of stay, he was told at the front desk that our dog had gone pee in her kennel and needed a bath. We weren't told that it would be charged as an exit bath and were a little confused as to how she peed in her kennel if she had been taken out before we picked up. We didn't see the charge for the exit bath until we got home. They did grant our free night from the previous stay thankfully . But they ended up still charging for house food and sent back the two bags that I sent for the two meals I had forgotten after I asked them to remove the charge.Needless to say my girl is more nervous now than before. We are going to be going elsewhere for boarding. Very disappointing.

This store is my favorite to go to. The store staff is always friendly and welcoming. Very clean! Any review that says otherwise might not be giving them the benefit of the doubt that COVID-19 is a very stressful time to work through. Every time I go in to get my cat’s food I never have an issue finding it. I am glad it’s my local PetSmart!

Was able to get everything I needed for my Hermit Crabs and was also able to get a couple more Hermit crabs so they can be a happy little colony since they thrive in groups. I had a hard time finding Hermit crabs, most stores do not have them so this made me very happy. Also saved my one Hermit crab from depression from being lonely. Thanks again to the staff for their help.

I’m only giving 1 star because i got a call this morning that they need to cancel my dog haircut appointment a hour before i was suppose to go in. They did not apologize for canceling or even tried to better the situation. Very unprofessional.

This review is only for the grooming service here. it was a Very bad and heartbreaking experience for me and my husband. My dog is just like my son. I cant imagine how hurt and scared and panic he was when I was not with him .I normally dont write negative reviews at all, but this time I think I really should stand-up and let more people know how the service really is! Be careful for what you choose and where you go with your baby!!!!This is not the first time my dog get hurt after grooming here. Last time he came here was this March, he got some cuts on his leg and they gave us 15% discount as apology. I thought it might be my dog's fault because he might be a lil scared of grooming sometimes. So we let it go and this time we think he will do great and be sweet like he always was. But it was not a little cut this time that I might just ignore, it is a huge bruise that you can clearly tell from the picture, which shape is just like the collar they use for grooming!!! I cant imagine how harsh and not gentle she was to my baby!!! I almost cried when i see his bruise!!! Really speechless and heartbreaking right now.Just, dont come here for grooming. Unless you dont care how they treat your baby.

Usually good service. Their fish wall is unlit and ALL feeder fish dead in a pile in the corner of the tank. Small selection of toys and all treats I try to order online, they're always out of. I had my dog groomed a few months ago, and the bather and her service was EXCELLENT. However, the cashier and manager gave me a really hard time about using a coupon at the register, even though I had called the store a couple weeks prior and got the OK from the store manager to use the coupon.

I always have a wonderful experience at this location! I love to shop here for my pets and my dog loves staying at the petshotel. He gets so excited to go and is all smiles when we arrive and the staff greets him. The staff are always so cheerful to see my dog and make a big deal whenever we stop by, it makes us feel so special! My dog has made many friends with the regulars at doggie day camp, it is wonderful to drop him off before work and know that he's having a great day of fun. They also have themed parties for the dogs, the pictures are so adorable!!!

The best stocked and most well organized store in Columbus. I was blown away but the cleanliness and variety of items within this location. The staff was also extremely helpful and offered resources for our new puppy.

This was my first time using the pet hotel. The staff were great! For the entire long weekend my dogs were there, I was so anxious. After picking them up, I was relieved. The staff there were so sweet to my boy. They seemed to love him like their own and he seemed very happy with his care. My little lady always is friendly and social, so of course she was content. They were both groomed, and they looked and felt great when they were picked up. In was so impressed! You can really tell the staff love their jobs and take pride in getting to know your pets. They work hard to keep them all calm and comfortable, even when your pets are timid. Long shot- I know everywhere is shorter staffed anymore, but I do feel like it might help tension if owners if there were an app or something where you could get at least a daily update of your pets.... so you know they are ok? (Maybe just me and my anxious self.) Just a suggestion I guess... can't complain about my experience!

My dog has come home with Kennel cough on one occasion and this past time has Post-Grooming Furunculosis. I have told the location about how my dog comes home fearful of the leash. I have had it. I am so upset! Do not take your pets to this grooming facility.

This store has definitely set the bar for others to follow. The staff is incredibly helpful & located an item for me that I had been searching to find for over 2 weeks. The store is very clean and the fish department is probably one of the best looking & well cared for that I have ever seen in a big store front, mad props to all of you! Keep doing what you're doing as you are killing it. 👏
