Not such a nice store. One might think a grocery store center of a big city would be amazing, but No! Tasteless fruits n vegetables. Grungy vegetables stations. Grouchy employees. They try in the meat counter area but not so great selection. And mostly too not willing to assist ☹️

Awesome place to go for grocery shopping. Really friendly staff and great and fresh products. Not a too large store so can find anything you want in a very short time. Really happy to have this store in the neighborhood. All of the staff from the fresh meat section to the checkout are super friendly and you feel so go to shop therex

Completely unstaffed checkout is a really awful idea. Everyone is constantly upset at checkout at this location, and for good reason. This Kroger is bizarre.

UPDATE I SPEND WAY TOO MUCH MONEY WITH KROGER ON A WEEKLY BASIS TO BE OVER CHARGED REGULARLY . Charging me $42 for $21 pack of salmon TWICE IN THE SAME MONTH IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE.**APPRECIATION POST*** Lanai and Jim are two awesome human beings. Very friendly and we’re a pleasure to work with in assisting me today. Thank you both

The change to self-service checkout has been awesome. It has added more lanes for checkout rather than the 2 cashiers they used to have. I am in and out of the store in half the time that it used to take me. Ignore the Karens and Kens who demand to be waited on hand and foot because they're too simple-minded and lazy to use the checkout machines efficiently. They're probably crying about having to pump their own gas and having to use an ATM machine too. Sorry, Karen, no manager to cry to in this Kroger! This is the future. Stop crying and learn basic skills or don't eat.Even better is the food-stamp crowd don't shop here because, again, too lazy and dumb to work the machines. Nobody is begging me for cash with a sob story while holding a 40 oz. I don't have to see them buying steak and shrimp with MY tax money. No Karens and welfare folks here! The location isn't the greatest. The parking lot is jam-packed because they built too many stores in a small area. The idiot Dublin drivers don't bother looking so you're always in danger of getting smashed into.

2 stars because this one actually had everything I wanted. But it's pulled down by the fact that this Kroger, like many others, have gone to self checkout ONLY.The general public is not trained for this. Not only is it frustrating as hell, it's a slow, painful process when you get behind someone who has no clue what to do. If you have anything that needs assistance from the "attendant", hopefully they're not deeply involved in gossip time. Thanks Kroger for making quick trips to the grocery store a thing of the past!

I really don’t like this kroger store. Every time I go there there are some items missing, also their staff don’t have a clue where to find certain products and they are very slow by the checkout. The one on hospital drive is much better.

I used to love this Kroger. Things were easy to find and customer service was helpful. I wish I knew how much the store was being renovated before coming in. The store should have closed to finish this process. I was not able to find several items and there was no staff available for me to ask where they were. I did not find them. The self checkout was frustrating because I had to call an attendant 4 times and each time I had to wait 5-8 minutes. There is not enough staff. I also worry about people with special needs or older adults that need help. I would think having at least one normal check out with a staff member is needed. Unless I am getting a few items I will not be coming back to this Kroger. I was very disappointed with my experience. I plan to go to Giant Eagle. It’s just as close to my house and the staff members are welcoming and helpful.

I come here out of convenience on my lunch breaks or sometimes after work. The store overall is fine. The staff are always really great. There’s a young lady who runs carts and she’s one of my favorite people. She’s absolutely delightful and I’m always happy to hear about her latest adventures or accomplishments. The shopping experience though, is pretty dismal. The aisles are almost always full of carts, pallets or stacks of product. It’s hard enough to navigate around all the stuff on the floor when the store is slow. If it’s busy, forget about it. I’ve felt this way for a couple of years but always assume it’ll get better. No such luck just yet.

Your ability to have checkout lanes open the last few months has been getting worse and worse. It starting to feel like Walmart. Fix it, please. Feb 1. This place still hasn't fixed the problem. Worse than Walmart

Kroger has gone downhill for years. This store is a prime example. I won't get into the rampant price gouging, but the 'bag-it-yourself' model is a disaster. Totally forgetting there are no clerks or would have gone somewhere else, I found a line to scan myself out and after finishing, i find the bags scattered all over the floor and off the rack. So now i have to pull those bags apart one at a time and find a way to get my groceries bagged in less than 15 minutes. Of course understandably, other customers are getting annoyed, and worst of all, the few kids they employ are on their cell phones watching the whole disaster unfold. This probably isn't the worst trip i've had to Kroger, the other locations are hardly any better

The worst experience ever! I shopped for over 400. Worth of food and if the self checkout wasn't stressful enough... An older woman (employe) confronted me about my service dog and threatened me of

Ordered cupcakes for pick up because it was close to venue. Completely wrong. The order was repeated back to me correctly multiple times, I'm not sure how the breakdown then happened, but the order we were given was not what I placed with the lady over the phone. Now no time to get new.

So I'm going to be critical. This location is totally fine as a grocery store. They usually have what you're looking for and fair prices galore. However, they just decided to have only self checkout meaning that all the older people or even myself who sometimes pick up a lot of things now have to become good at checking out. This is hard for people with families when they have kids and it feels unnecessary when people who work at a grocery store scan two to three times faster, probably than your average consumer. Super disappointed by this choice. I hope this isn't a company-wide decision

The few staff that are there are friendly and helpful, but ever since all the cashiers got replaced with machines, checkout takes 2 to 3 times as long. Kroger corporate knew this would happen and went through with it anyway. Anything to save a buck, right?

First this location moves to ALL self checkout, no more cashiers, then they move to tall shelves, and now they've shuffled around the products. How many more ways can Kroger tell its customers to shop elsewhere?I'll tell you: have fewer staff on the floor, none of which seem to have any actual store knowledge, or at all interested in helping. Blank stares. Responses such as "I don't know, over that way I think?" while they walk away.Customer service is dead. And so is any loyalty I had to Kroger.

I’ve been putting this off because I was hoping things would change but given the likelihood of Kroger buying up Albertsons(another grocery chain) in a $24.6 billion deal we can expect all Kroger’s to probably end up like this one. Like most people who have gone to this Kroger(at 299 W Bridge St, Dublin, OH 43017), it used to be a great place to shop because of their location, product selection, prices, and customer service. Fast forward to now, since the inception of the 100% self help model, it’s all gone now. You’d think this would save you a few pennies when it comes to deals. Well you’d be wrong, prices have continued to go up even though they seem to be saving money by not having people behind the deli counter, meat counter, or at the cash registers. Oh Joy! The selection for alterative foods have all but disappeared. Oh, and for customer service, well now, let’s just say it’s a shadow of it’s former Kroger self(Pre-2000s for those youngins). If you attempt to use their 100% self-checkout system be prepared for random issues (the occasional scanner/belt issue, if you make error while scanning be prepared to wait for someone to come over and fix the issue which can lead to another person being called over, etc). Other hidden gems you can expect to find on this wonderous experience is instead of items to purchase in the aisle you will sometimes find large empty sections, the fresh baked goods in the case are not fresh at times(Not joking I’ve gotten moldy sourdough bread, saw it once I cut into it), if you choose to wait to have someone bring your food to your car be prepared to wait a bit longer than you’d think (especially if there’s no one else waiting in the designated sections), and enjoy the glorious long checkout lines because now you have to scan a few items pause to bag said items and repeat until your cart is empty. My suggestion is to stop going this Kroger, or any Kroger in general given my first sentence. For the sake of every other person alive use the choices given to you as others don't have the ability to shop at an Aldi, Meijer, Giant Eagle, GFS, or Walmart/Sam's Club

I come here more often for shopping. I really like the new Self Checkout Lanes. It adds more lanes for checkout. Sale prices are usually very good. I love the Amish Farms chicken thighs and breasts. I get them every week.

This afternoon I was a bit disappointed with my grocery pick-up experience. I had placed an order with a total of about $50. When I arrived to pick-up I was notified that there was an item on my list that was out of stock at the store and not come in on my list of substitutions through the app. My order total was brought down under the $35 dollar minimum and then I was told that was going to be charged a $4.95 service fee for the pick up.This is unfair. It is not my fault that the store did not have an item in stock, and I should not be charged a service fee because the items that were available for order but were not at the store or on my substitution list. The manager was able to remove the service charge for us today, but informed us that they would not be able to do so again. However, I wonder why Kroger would charge for something that is not the customer’s doing? I feel that policy needs to be looked over again in regards to orders where items are out of stock.

This used to be a nice store that I would shop at on my eat home from work. Then they decided to make all the lanes self check-out. Now I would rather go to a store where I run the risk of being shanked. The area has a very large elderly population and making the entire store all self check-out shows a general lack of understanding of their own clientele. I watched a poor elderly man struggle for 5 minutes to purchase peppers before someone finally stepped in to help. Poor decision Kroger...

Went to pickup some lunch meat out of the deli at 12:15 on Monday and no one was around. Asked an employee and they said the bakery and deli were both closed for the day?? Service seems to get worse every time I stop. No one around, nothing in stock, and no one can help. Wasted trip once again. Couldn’t get what I needed. May have to switch my main grocery store.

There's a fine line between "please pardon our mess as we renovate" and "this store shouldn't be open"It's such a mess as of 4/24 and the employees are grumpy and mean. Empty shelves, empty refrigerators, product thrown on the aisle floors, a total maze.At self checkout, the employee took my ID (I was buying beer and wine, with my bbq feast ingredients) and she literally grabbed the bottle of wine I was holding - saying "not now! Too early!!"Lady - DO NOT touch me. I dunno who you are, but do not touch me. You may *ask* me politely for the bottle of wine. But do not touch me.

Absolute disaster. My first and last time here. They only have self checkout. No one knows what’s going on or can help. I’m not blaming employees but who ever was this Genius who thought not having a one cashier on staff should be fired.

Nice, cordial and attentive staff to customers. The male bathroom needs service and requires structural attention. The latrine was dirty and smelly. A stall did not have toilet paper and the paper towel dispenser was out of hand towels. The grocery isles were well maintained and nicely stocked. Each isle’s designation is clearly marked.

Store is mostly self maintained. If you want a guaranteed experience to be a shopper, cashier and bagger all in the same visit without a discount then you will be delighted with the experience. Great strategic move!

Please reconsider your shopping. Or at least don’t bother customer service. They get very annoyed if you want to buy lottery tickets. Also watch the prices when you are checking out. I find at least one item that rang up more than it should. Even the cashier yesterday said the Halloween candy wasn’t ringing up on sale. I have been a Kroger’s customer for years. So out of habit I would stop at this location. I will be changing my habits after today.

Agree with another reviewer about insufficient cashier staffing. We have been loyal patrons of this store for 15 years and the past 6 months the check out lane staffing has been horrible. As early as 8pm there are no human cashier lanes open and you have to use the self check-out. Very annoying when you have a cart full of groceries. I was there last Saturday afternoon and only 2 cashier lanes were open and the self-checkout line was very long. Whatever is going on at this store needs to be fixed or we will have to shop at a different Kroger.

Pretty nice store. They do have a Starbucks, so that was nice. I only came to this one too pick up my medicine at the pharmacy. But when I was there every month I would shop. They probably have the best little clearance section. You won't find it unless you need to use the restroom bc its just a shelf with baskets that sits in the hallway that you take to get the bathrooms. I've found some great deals back there, so if you're there don't pass it up ☺️

Used to be 5 stars until you switched to all self checkout. Horrible idea. Slow and painful.
