An astonishing lack of customer service. I am not a Kroger shopper, but had to stop in today. I had to make a return and the person at the return desk refused to help me because she was vacuuming and told me to come back in two hours, talked to someone at the cash register they also refused to help. Ironically, passed several managers who looked like they were there observing the store and they were all laughing and talking to one another, but clearly not observing their own employees. It was somewhat ridiculous. Now I know why I go to Giant Eagle across the street.

I'm reviewing Kroger and how accessible it is for those with disabilities. This Kroger is very accessible, it is a one level building and there are no curbs when entering the building. The doorway is very wide with automatic doors. Kroger has automatic carts that people can use. These carts contain a basket on them, so people are able to hold all of their groceries. The aisles tend to have a lot of space for mobility, some have side shelves that stick out or poles, these could be barriers when moving through the aisle. Above each aisle is a board that states what is in each aisle for directions. Some items are higher up on the shelves which are not as accessible as those lower on the shelves. When checking out the space tends to be smaller and the aisles are more narrow. Self check out has even less space and would be hard to maneuver in an automatic cart. Overall this space is pretty accessible.

One of the worst experiences at Kroger. Not only people working there are disrespectful, they don't know what they are doing. They don't know where items are. They can't solve customer service issues. So they tell you you gotta call the customer service center.One of the employees told me to wait then told me not to stand there a second later. What a DF. I scolded her. Kept running her mouth over unnecessary stuff. The manager is not any better. Usually they are sensible.Not worth dealing with their attitude, rudeness, and constant interruptions while you are speaking.

This was my very first time at Avery Kroger location. Goldie, from the meat department… was more than a delight! She gave me and my son a small town, small meat market type of experience! I have never in my life been treated with so much respect by a chain grocery store staff member. They normally roll their eyes, let out a gust of air and act like you came in one minute to close. She gave me directions on cooking temps and time. Completely informative!! Down to adding seasonings to the salmon, which I may add are free! You just don’t hear that word in this day and time! Then checkout!!!! The 3 kids that bagged all my groceries, ran to bag the groceries by the way???? Whoever is running this store, hiring staff, training the staff and employees that are employed at this location… you guys are all doing an amazing job at life!!! Completely blown away with my experience this evening and commend you all! God bless you all and Happy Holidays!!!

Great Kroger & fairly easy layout to navigate. They have a Starbucks in the store & it’s big enough to get most of the items on the menu. Huge meat & fish section with an even bigger produce area. Lots of organic & gluten free options.

Shelly which is in customer service has to be the rudest individual at this location. The app was not working for the $15 off pick up order and I never got my $10 either for my flu shot and she was very condescending in her tone and lied to my face saying she can’t manually take my coupon off when I know she can and now it’s gone from my app. I spend at least 200.00 a week or more in Kroger a WEEK! I can easily take my prescriptions and business elsewhere if that is how customers are treated! I left there so upset because I speak in a kind manner to everyone and forSomeone to speak back in such a way is uncalled for! She needs a refresher course in customer service skills! I hope I can get in contact with Nicole because when I called after getting in the car she did not want to tell me when the store manager would be in. As she picked up the phone 5 mins after I walked out and called. So sad how people can be so nasty to each other.

The assistant store manager, Bill, is extremely rude. I’ve been trying to reach someone since Halloween after I originally spoke to one of the other managers. I eventually spoke with him and he blew me off and told me to call back. Spoke to him again today and when we were discussing things he got extremely condescending and even chuckled. Called back to get the store managers name and of course he answered and refused to give me her name. Told me she was there and that’d he’d just connect me. I ended up holding for several minutes and being repeatedly placed on hold without anyone checking in until a different employee answered and said that it was the store managers day off. This employee actually gave me the store managers name.It’s really no wonder that there are so many complaints about the customer service at this location when you have managers like him leading as examples for the rest of the staff. Extremely unprofessional coming from someone higher in the hierarchy of management and is a poor reflection of the management team.

Self check out is a joke. Issues with it every time. Then you have to wait and wait until the employee stops talking to someone or playing on their phone to get help.

Beware!! Deceptive practices!! Look close at the sign, which says 2 for $5 (Blueberries). No blueberries in the cooler, only strawberries. I asked one of the workers about it, and they were very closed lipped, and offered no explanation. Out of curiosity, I bought 2, and sure enough there was no discount. In fact, they were much more expensive that I had expected. Very shady indeed! If this kind of shade is out on display, I'd hate to imagine what goes on behind the scene!

Absolutely miserable and bitter employees make this store an unpleasant experience. If you must go then do yourself the favor of using the self-checkout and don’t buy any item that requires an ID check.There are a handful of friendly, helpful employees but as a rule they seem hate their jobs, their lives, and everyone who doesn’t share their misery.

Unpleasant customer experience 7/1- Tammi (front manager) was very rude when I tried to use a coupon as she stated they can’t scan from phone (nor punch in). Didn’t even try to accommodate. I had specialized baby formula OTC reward for Kroger. I then asked to speak to another manager and he advised they dont take the OTC as they get nothing for it…I let the manufacturer know this but regardless store obviously does not care for customers and I will be happy to take business elsewhere. Also to note price was more here anyways so worked out for the best.

NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY -- multiple attempts to have someone help check out. Front line and management have told me on different occasions to shop earlier in the day if I want help or if I want a full service line open. They also lock the doors where the carts are after a certain hour but don't supply any at the entrance they keep open. Fuel center hours vary and most of the time don't have lights on while the pumps are open. The claim is they lock the south doors for safety yet have you pump gas without lights or staff.

I been a Kroger customer all my life. I usually purchase 400 groceries a week and never pay that close of attention to my bill. I went in there this morning to purchase Father’s Day card, 25 dollar gift card and I grabbed bag of cherries and my bill was 46 dollars. My little bag of cherries are 15 dollars?! I was like how it’s possible?! So the lady at the store said that now I have to go in and upload the digital coupons. Using my Kroger card is not enough. If this is the case I will have to do going forward, Kroger lost my business. No one has a time for this stuff. If using my Kroger is not enough to get Kroger price, I’m out.

Several checkout clerks work above and below their duties. Efficient, pleasant, HELPFUL, and fast; these guys should make Kroger proud. One of the men is tall and young, always smiling. The other packer, is an Older guy, equally efficient. They both have escorted me to my car to empty my cart into my car. The manager (I think maybe his name was Dennis? Some overstuffed gym-bro with more ego than personality) left a very bad impression of me. With someone like that in charge it is no wonder there are so many issues in that location. How a company allows someone with such arrogance to ascend to the top of the totem in a customer service field is absolutely beyond me.

I called to order a small arrangement for next day pickup. I was on hold for 15 minutes trying to get through to the floral department. Once I got through I told the lady I would like to order an arrangement for pickup the next day to which she replied very rudely "Yeah that's not going to happen." I was a little taken back and said "Oh okay..." and she proceeded to again say it's not going to happen. I'm the only one here today and tomorrow there's only one girl here and she doesn't know how to do them.I'm more than understanding if someone is understaffed and can't get to it. But that's not a reason to be rude to someone. It's not my fault they're understaffed, I was polite despite being on hold for 15 minutes. If they couldn't accomodate me that's okay. Frankly I would have been fine with the girl who didnt have experience trying to put something together if that had been an option. I just needed a very small bouqet for a 6 year old, but I never even got an opportunity to go beyond saying I wanted to order something for the following day.The lady's name was Rose and said she had been there for 8 years. Perhaps Rose either needs a brush up on her people skills or to retire.

This Kroger is the most awful and unorganized piece of garbage. The Starbucks is awful. It’s so unclean. There’s flies hovering around the beverages. There were some gnats in the refreshers. They don’t rotate and refill their coffee like they should be doing. The workers there look miserable. Cashiers are in the uncanny valley. Certain interactions have been uncomfortable to say the least. One young man even flirted with me. I asked the workers about him, and apparently that’s a common thing he does with all the women. Even the workers. Workers barley wash their hands, and they’d touch their mouths before they touched my products. Cross contamination is at an all time high there. And the garbage in certain parts of the store don’t get taken care of. Overall, I don’t understand the positive reviews. This is the most disappointing Kroger I’ve been to. Very sad.

Rachel (the pharmacist) is AMAZING. She worked with my insurance and was able to expedite medications that had been delayed causing numerous issues. Her friendly demeanor and professional expertise literally improve my quality of life. Katie & Sohit diaplayed phenomenal customer service and have been so helpful!! I’m grateful for this team and their efforts. Thank you so much for your understanding & kindness. 5 Stars all around!!

Woman at customer service desk ranges from indifferent to downright rude. No greeting, no smile. In fact, I remember only one person who has ever given me a smile and was helpful - Sam. Everyone else seems like they hate working here, and would rather not have to deal with customers. I have avoided shopping here in the past, and have decided not to bother coming in anymore. The Goant Eagle Market District grocery store across the street is a much better experience.

BE AWARE - The pull-through pickup spots are very small and tight, not very convenient for pickup trucks or larger SUVsMedium-sized, convenient grocery store. Excellent customer service, and usually they got everything I need! I often use the pickup service, which is very convenient with me working nights. I can stop by after work and pick up my order!

I LOVE the cashiers here, Sam and the other young gentlemen are always so kind and helpful! As well as everyone in deli & bakery. However the management is not very helpful, there is rarely anyone to blow up balloons. The managers never offer to help, they just let you stand there for 20, 30, 40, 50 minutes. And when you approach the customer service desk for help, they avoid you if at all possible. If I was the manager I’d make sure I was capable of helping my customers with such a simple request. Lana, Jon and the other manager who works mornings at the desk, have all been unhelpful with this on multiple occasions. Would like to see some better customer service.

Great selection. I'm glad they started carrying specialty food to go along with their specialty prices. We buy our non-processed food at Aldi and anything that is hard to find with no added sugar or made of real ingredients, most processed foods, at Kroger.

Not the nicest nor the cleanest Kroger. Not the friendliest staff, either. But it will do in a pinch. Nice produce at least and most of the groceries you need on a monthly basis...I really hope they make upgrades to this location or another location between here and Plain City.

Today was the first negative interaction at this Pharmacy. My husband and I were greeted by pharmacy tech Lynn. Before we even got to the window. Lynn was rude to the gentleman in front of us. And lo and behold her tone and demeanor was rude towards us. She stated she couldn't find us in her system for vaccines. My husband stated he main an appointment for us both three weeks prior. All the time we are looking for our email of conformation, she is asking us could it be at a different store? We both stated no. My husband suffers with PTSD. Approaching him and speaking to him in the tone she used makes him instantly agitated. So he walked away to exit the store. She could have told us that possibly she could work us in. Signs outside say walk ins welcome. Please get with her about the way she speaks to people. People have battles you can't see.

Arguably a better selection then the Bridge St. Location, and I know people complain about all the self checkout at that one. But the service at this location is horrible. I'd rather check out myself on the bigger conveyor at bridge than have some dead-eyed cashier who doesn't know how to bag and puts a fresh pizza on its side in a pile at the end of the register. Really just horrible

Honestly, I enjoy shopping here. But, whoever created the toiletries section needs to think again. The lanes are barely wide enough for one person, let alone two people, or heaven forbid a cart. If you tried to take a cart down said section, you’d knock display items of the side of the shelf.Edit: They have fixed this issue. Thank you Kroger team.
