First time in Doggie Daycare with our brand new addition. Bandit is almost 1 year old but weighs in at almost 90 pounds so the long open run areas were a relief to see available for our fur baby!The registration and check-in process was quick and painless. The gal at the front desk did NOT laugh, giggle, or make fun of my misting eyes when it was time for me to leave! Kudos for that! Have already set Bandit up for another session next week.The only area that I would suggest any possible changes would be maybe allowing a few quick min for the owner to share any helpful information about their pet on the first visit. But really, I cannot even call this a problem or Deal breaker. even I understand that it's probably best to remove the pet From the owner's care upon arrival to minimize. Stress and strain for both parties. So again.....5/5!!

This is the first time we ever boarded one of our pets so we were nervous. The people at Oakshadows were very patient and explained everything to us. We were very happy with the care and attention they gave our senior dog. We wouldn't hesitate to use their service again in the future.

Groomer Jill is the best! I never have had one complaint. Obedience and agility classes are get. Boarding is great huge runs. Cleanest kennel I have ever seen. Very well run. So happy to be a customer and trust them with our dogs

If I'm kenneling my dogs, they are coming here. They groom, kennel and have training classes. The place has always been clean. They have training classes for obedience, rally, and agility.

This is a great facility! It is very clean, organized & a great size. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful & kind. We started training classes for our 4 month old Great Dane & the results are awesome! Dog training is technically the art of training the owners how to be able to handle & how to be great parents to our fur babies.

We've taken our dogs here twice, our last for an extended stay as we were visiting Hawaii. My dogs always seem well cared for. We are currently also looking into their grooming services. The only thing I wish they had were cameras so you can see your dogs while your away

We are new to the area and so thankful Oakshadows is nearby. It is obvious how much everyone cares about your dogs! Both of ours have stayed and been groomed. We could not be more delighted with our experiences. It's reassuring to know that our fur-babies are being cared for so well. We LOVE Oakshadows!!

We love this place! Our furbabies love it even more! The staff takes excellent care of our furry loved ones. They follow our pet's routines. They offer outside run time, indoor play, extra snack times. They follow our directions for feeding, as to not disrupt our pet's bellies. When we call in to check on our dogs, they have clipboards to track what they ate and how they are, emotionally.The facility is beautiful and clean. If we use a kennel, we wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. We come from Massillon, the 40-minute drive is worth it. Our babies are happy and healthy when we pick them up, after being away!

They were wonderful and put me at ease with leaving my fur babies in a kennel for the first time. I even called and checked on my doggies, and they seemed more than happy to provide an update. Everything was great!

I was up here on vacation, and I needed a place for Camo to spend the day, thy were so nice to him, and he came back just as happy as could be, if your looking for a great kennel for the day or extended stay, thy are the one.....thank you so much for taking such great care of my little buddy...

What a great place! We dropped our Shepherd off for a two day stay while we were on vacation. They took great care of him and he even got groomed. We picked up a happy dog with a great grooming. The staff were all super nice and very obviously great with dogs. Oakshadows is amazing and the rates are just as amazing. We will definitely be back.

We took our dog and she was traumatized by the intake girl . Never had a problem in the past but we will never use this facility again! When I spoke to manager Kim she had defensive attitude and truly could have cared less about situation. Also, Angel developed kennel cough and she was only in facility for one afternoon . Very bad experience and won't be recommending this place to anyone!

Wouldnt trust this place with a stuffed animal. Let a dog lay on cold concrete with no blankets or bedding. Got sick and the arthritis got so bad the dog had to be put down. Id give zero stars if possible.

This place blew me away ! It is one of the cleanest and most tuned to catering to your dogs needs and your boarding needs.We took our 3 Akitas there for our vacation and I think they had a better vacation than we did .The staff was great at loving and caring for our pets. The dogs went right to them and you could see that they were going to be in great hands . They were exercised daily and they came home bathed and groomed and looked and smelled fantastic.This place and the handlers there are the best . You cannot take your pets to a better place.Thank you all so much !I highly recommend Oakshadows for your kennel needs . Your dogs Will be in the best hands possible!

I usually do not have any issues with Oak shadows. However, trying to get my dog to be boarded there has become more challenging. I even called a month in advance and was still turned away.Told it gets better in October??

Where do I begin with the good things I have to say about this place...We have two large dogs and one of them was a rescue dog that has special needs with pretty extreme anxiety which requires medication. When we decided to go out of state to surprise our family we were nervous about leaving our dogs, but we were so impressed with their facility and staff that once I dropped them off I felt better about their time away from us. I was so relieved that the dogs were able to room together because that would help with my one dog's anxiety plus it makes them feel more like home. They have these amazing 300 foot long fenced, grassy excercise lanes for the dogs to run in without the concern of how they get along with other dogs because they have the whole lane to themselves which they offer to take your dogs to up to 3 times a day. They also offer personalized playtime with a staff member. You can also have the dogs have snack time with very yummy lamb treats (I believe what they offer changes every so often). Then they also have cushioned run mats available for the dog's kennel.On top of what they offer, their customer service was amazing! I needed to bring my 9 month old daughter with me when I dropped the dogs off and I was nervous about how I was going to handle both dogs and my daughter while filling out paperwork etc. but once I walked into the lobby I was greeted with a smile and welcomed so warmly (even after one of the dogs pooped right on the floor as soon as we walked in. Of which they assured me was not a problem and they promptly cleaned up). In no time at all, one of their staff members introduced herself and took the dogs right back before I even had to fill out one form. Then we had some major issues with our flight back (we were the lucky ones stuck because of the Delta system outage) which forced us to have to call Oakshadows and add an extra day onto the dogs boarding. They were very understanding and accommodated us with no issue or argument. Once we made it back and I was able to come get the dogs, they offered to walk the dogs out to my car because I again had my daughter with me. Even with all the options (play time, snacks etc) that I added on to their stay there I felt that the price was very reasonable and well worth it for what they offer and the peace of mind we had while the dogs were in their care!I highly recommend Oakshadows and we will definitely use them again the next time we are in need of boarding for our dogs!

Wonderful experience!!! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, I called to get my two 1 year old (aka crazy) goldendoodles groomed (they were pretty matted), they got both dogs in right away (and at the same time which was so helpful!)! Their haircuts are so cute, I thought the prices were more than fair, and the facility was beautiful, very clean, open-if I were a dog, I'd love staying there 😉! A great experience! 😃 Highly recommended.

One of the greatest kennels around! Polite and kind staff and professional! We housed our family dog and cat and have no complaints. Even called half way through there stay checking on them and was pleased to find out daily notes are kept in there status and habits. Will absolutely use there services in the future and no other compares!

Great place to leave your dog for the day while you shop the touristy Amish areas nearby. And by nearby I mean as the crow flies. When we picked up the dog he was fine and looked great. No concerns.

We have used all of their services from boarding to grooming to taking classes. I cant say enough good about this place. THe people are fabulous, you can tell they are 'animal people'. They care about your pet like you do. The kennels are clean, they have huge outside runs for your dogs. Just a comfortable, pleasant place to trust your pets to. We don't go anywhere else.

It is a half an hour drive from my home to the kennel, but it is worth it. I hate to leave my kitty but when I do this is the only place I will take her. It is clean well run and I trust them to keep her safe and entertained.

Best kennel, thanks for taking care of my pet. NO WORRIES folks. Especialy if u have an escape artist like i do, i wont take my pets anywhere else. Take a drive and check them out. Air condition or heated floors, great runs for ye pets. CLEAN ,Awesome.

Called to get availability to get my dog in to be groomed the date was very far out and I didn’t wanna wait that long so I just let her know I was trying to get done sooner I thanked her and appreciated her help and told her to have a great day and she just hung up on me. Working for a business you should have more manners than that.
