This review is based on my experience and views:I will never again use their services and I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone and would not use them even if they were the last place on earth who offer the services they offer.My pet was boarded by them for 8 days and then treated for lethargy and dehydration less than 24 hrs after being picked up (treated by a vet ER due to them being closed and not answering their phone) after being boarded with them for 8 days.5 days after I picked my precious fur baby up she passed away.Prior to dropping off my fur baby she was healthy and active, the evening I picked her up she barely moved and I was worried sick.I asked for their management to call me after my fur baby passed away and all they could do was refer me to their insurance company and never heard from them again. I have spent almost 2 months dealing with their insurance company only to have my claim and appeals denied!!I never thought they would treat me in this manner and I am still in shock.I will never trust them with another fur baby.This entire review is my own opinion and based upon my personal experience with this business.Their brochure stated requirements and all kinds of nice wording, but they didn’t adhere to their own policies, and it was told to me by their insurance company that they didn’t adhere to their own safe guards and documented rules and policies in order to be accommodating to me,!!!!I would rather have been denied boarding,and had I known that my pet would be dehydrated (per the different pet ER that treated my fur baby less than 24 hrs after picking her up from them) I would have canceled my vacation plans, so this experience makes me question their ability to follow instructions (upon drop off I gave the attending employee who admitted and accepted my fur baby,they admitted they were new , I left with them my pets water fountain that I explicitly told and left instructions that my baby only drank from her water fountain and being previously told upon booking that they had plugs near the cages and it was perfect to bring her water fountain that I made clear upon booking and drop off that my baby only drank from her water fountain !so imagine my surprise and shock and disbelief upon pickup that the attending employee told me they didn’t use it , that they were afraid she would bite the cord,I know I’m not the only one who has power cords in their house around animals , all of this and the experience I had has left me shocked and changed my view and opinion of this business.If they had done the right thing my view of them would be different.In the end their insurance company offered me $1’000.00 and wanted me to sign forms and agree to not speak publicly, post comments or write reviews.My fur baby and her memory are worth more to me than $1000.00 and keeping my mouth shut so they can hide this experience and their admitted disregard adherence to their own company policies..This is my personal experience with them.

We contacted Oak Point in an emergency situation with our dog. The staff were able to get us in promptly and provided excellent care for our fur baby. The staff was kind and caring. We received comprehensive explanations and instructions his care. We couldn't have had a more positive experience.

Angela is the greatest blessing we could ever ask for. She's been involved with two separate appointments for our cat who has a significant amount of anxiety when it comes to his vet appointments and has been such an incredible resource making the process as easy on him as possible. The entire staff made us feel very comfortable and heard throughout an incredibly stressful process. We started bringing our pets into Oak Pointe entirely by chance during Covid and it's the best happy accident we could have asked for. I cannot recommend them enough.

I took my little starlight to one vet he walk in like another one so I took her here and everyone was so nice friendly and my starlight is very nervous around knew ppl she let them do what they need to do the first time and jus yesterday they saved her life with setting up appointment they took her then knowing it was getting worse today I came pick her up heard nothing but how she was so good with them I wanna thank them and I'll see them in 14 days for check up heres her sleeping happy next to her older brother they may be high in a bit but one thing I see and say it like this if ur fur baby's or kids would u have someone that loves their job and cares about if ur kids their health and lives or somone whos cheap on his prices but hates his job to me when it come to my fur baby's id rather pay someone more who's loves their job then some cheaper who hates it like i said say it again " THANK U SO MUCH U LADIES AND GENTLEMEN)

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Brothers is very informative and took time to make sure that we understood what was going on with our puppy and help us to be successful. I love the cleanliness of the office! This veterinary clinic is amazing! Although we have to drive an hour to have this experience, it is well worth it!

Dr. Brothers is great! Nice staff, very responsive and caring people here! Our cat has some health issues and is getting old, she is 16, and this place takes great care with her, we appreciate that. Awesome vet clinic.

I was a new patient, rather my cat was, he was having a severe eye issue. They got me in the same day. The facility was great. The doctor and, the staff were very attentive. They answered all my questions and showed me an easy way to apply the cream to my cats eye. It's been 4 days and his eye is definitely on the mend.

We have been boarding our dogs at Oak Pointe for more than a decade and they take such amazing care of them! When we pick them up, we’re greeted by happy, wagging tails who are ready to go home, but seem quite pleased about their stay. I highly recommend them!

Boarded our dog there for a week and they took good care of him. No issues. Was able to drop off on a Sunday and pick up on a Saturday. Convenient that they are open everyday at some point to pick up and/or drop off.

Our pup does not like her paws messed with, no matter much we try working with her, so we have regular nail appointments here. The staff are so kind, loving and patient with our girl. We plan to use them for other grooming needs in the future as well. Highly recommend!

You truly came through for us at our time of need when others turned us away, even my primary vet, which if u have room I would love to carry on our relationship. It was my first time vet visit bringing my dog. My dog is very skittish around other animals and people that she doesn't know. Dr Metzger was very understanding and gentle and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Oak Pointe. Prices are reasonable as well.

We were so pleased with the care our cat received. We were able to get a fast appointment, even as a new patient, and the doctor and staff were so knowledgeable and caring. We even got a call from the doctor the next day with detailed information regarding the blood work findings and the recommended next steps. We will be transferring all our cats to this office.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I had an emergency with Mr. Biggs, and they did an awesome job, so professional and so kind. Dr Abby was amazing and I ended up having to put him down 2 days later and they got me right in and were so compassionate.

My recent visit is why I'm leaving this review. I had to say goodbye to my pet hamster. This was so difficult for me and sad, but from the moment I called, to the time I left, the amount of care, compassion, and attentiveness was beyond anything I could have ever hoped for.First of all, they got me in the same day which was amazing. The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very kind and checked in on me and how I was doing. They also had a candle lit with a sign for people saying goodbye to their pets. The two wonderful ladies that were involved in my hamsters care were so great every step of the way. Explaining everything in detail, offering options throughout, as well as they were so very gentle and kind to my pet.They surprised me with a leatherbound framed pawprints stamp of my pet and I can't even express how much that meant to me, such a special gift that touched my heart and I'll cherish forever. They also offered and let me check out privately in the room, and even let me walk out a separate door from the front entrance.All of that is to say, there is a reason this veterinary practice is so highly regarded. If you go here, you WILL receive the utmost care for you and your pet. Your pet will be treated with so much respect and care no matter how big or small. Very thankful for this practice.Edit to add: I was also sent a card in the mail, these folks truly care and go above and beyond.

The Staff and Doctors are wonderful, super friendly, sensitive, and sincere. I have been through the process of having a dog put to sleep to having another dog taken care of with yearly treatment and it’s wonderful and welcoming here. I love this place!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a vet. I have a Rottweiler and they have no idea how to handle bigger/more aggressive dogs. Had to schedule him for sedation which did absolutely nothing so they couldn’t address any of the reasons I brought him there and still charged for it. When I asked to speak to the account manager she was “in a conference call”. Highly recommend to look for a different vet.

Was in search of a veterinary for my new Panther Chameleon that came with a problem in his eye. Oak Pointe was able to get us in the next day! Not only was the staff great the Vet was amazing and very understanding of our situation. He helped to make sure we were giving our pet the best care possible. They didnt try to push unnecessary procedures on us that would've cost hundreds more. The office visit and medication didn't break the bank which was so helpful!! Will definitely be returning when needed and will happily refer my friends!!

Thank you for taking such good care of our Warrior.His allergies are now less. The medication has taken hold.As you can see he is an AC hog-dog.Plus he loves to go on walks and spot deer...or other critters.
