Super helpful people most the time when you can find them. The liquor store attendants are always kind and willing to help you find what you need. Mostly clean. Definitely better than it used to be. Overall not too shabby 👌🏼

Giant Eagle in Dover is always a great place to shop for all your grocery needs. I like how you can earn "Perks" to use for discounts on gas. They are having all kinds of specials right now on Christmas dinner staples, such as whole hams, rolls, and various fruits and vegetables. The reason I gave four stars instead of five is due to the fact that they did away with the 5-for-25 deal on fresh meats. The service is always great, so I'll keep coming back.

The man working at the deli did not care one bit that we were standing there waiting for him to help us. Instead he decided to stock the sandwich cooler across the aisle. He did not care one bit and he KNEW we were standing there so we decided that we will spend our money somewhere else.

Google says deli closes at 7pm on Friday but it really closes at 6pm. Second time we missed getting to the deli before it closed. Can't seem to update the deli hours on Google

This store is horrible the people who stock shelves clearly don't know how to do it correctly they have items under the gluten free stickers and the items are not gluten free also they had a whole area of trash bags under the 9.29 sticker and it wrung up at 21 something I asked to have the item at 9.29 and she refused she said she would give me a 5 dollar gift card and I said no I want those trash bags at 9.29 and she refused. I told her people need to learn how to stock shelves correctly. Her name was Cheryl she told me that she did not have the authority even though she had the authority to give me a 5 dollar gift card but couldn't change the price to what the sticker stated 🤔 giant eagle needs to get their act together

It was my very first visit. It was impressive, The liquor department was huge. The prices not so much. Got my gas at Getgo. Nice reduction in gas prices.

We were spending the night at a local hotel and stopped for deli food for dinner. We started to self check out and then were told we couldn't use self check out because we didn't have a membership card. Had to then go and stand in long line for our 6 products. I think this is stupid.

Place I frequent often for groceries. Love when they have sales happening. My daughter lost a blue butterfly necklace, and one of the staff helped me look for it when they didn't have to. I was extremely grateful. Sadly, though, we never found it

Just like all liquor stores they keep the rare bourbons behind the counter with a purchase limit of 1. However, they let you get back in line and keep purchasing 1 at a time. When I was there I witnessed 2 guys purchased approximately 10 combined bottles of Buffalo Trace. Disgusting.

Person in the wine center was very helpful. Another customer 's problem at the check out was handled smoothly. Waited at the deli counter several minutes two different times, but no one was there to wait on us, and another employee passed us several times without notifying anyone. Was disappointed with the bread and pastry we purchased. Not their usual quality.

This Dover store needs a lot of work still. Prices are so high they have to be throwing a lot of food away because it doesn't sell because the $ is too high. Should be a crime in today's world. People are struggling. Why not sell at a lower price and not have to waste food? All about profit, the bottom line. Produce used to be really bad especially in the winter time. Everyone else managed in the area. Friendliness doesn't cost anything either.

Terrible place. Had to wait about 10 minutes for them to open. After I had my stuff picked out, I asked the clerk for a courtesy card (so I could take advantage of the store sales). She said I had to go to the courtesy counter, which was closed for an hour yet. I told her I needed the sale price and she refused to help in any way. Apparently their clerks think so little of the store they don't even have a card themselves. I told her I was going to a competitor (Beuhlars) and she said "good". Terrible place!

This place is very clean. They have a good selection of produce they also have a state liquor store in the middle of the store.. I like the customer service and appreciation here I do believe Eric help me look for something in the store for 25 minutes once another employee had put it on the wrong shelf he took it upon himself to grab everything and move it back to where it was supposed to be great job Eric

I payed more than I liked, Giant Eagle is always higher than most,that's why I don't normally shop there but I was with someone else. Got lucky at guessing the phone no. that's associated with the card for a little bit of a discount. But I bought some 🍓 fruit and something for dinner,. Fruits looked really good. Got out of there for under 20.00 not bad at an experience store...

Deli was closed until noon due to staff issues, but I had two stock people that were very helpful in helping me find a couple of items. Checkout clerk (I believe her name was Brenda) was very friendly and did a great job of bagging my groceries correctly. In fact she did such a good job that I told her thank you for doing a great job.

Pricing does not always sync up in conjuction with the weekly adds. Receipt breakdown is always confusing, as well. Bakery seems lacking but has good stuff when they have it.

Very considerate and kind staff who is very helpful. Great selection of food, and fresh food from the deli. Butcher on staff, great deals on meat, which is something big these days. Massive selection of wine, beer and liquor. Good produce. They have many many things very recommended. Bakery is in demand and makes awesome bread. Deli is top notch. Butchers are pretty good, atm. Great selection of prepared foods, and the weekly meal deals are varied and worth it.

I hadn't visited this store in a couple months, was shocked and disappointed when I got to the deli, it was 2:30 or so and all the deli lights were out, a clerk was mopping, I asked if the lights were burned out. She said no & pointed to a handmade small sign on top of the deli saying it is closed after 2:30. When I asked why she said lack of help. I went on over to the Bakery and what another disappointment. There weren't any baked goods out on the floor stands! Again, no help. I don't understand why people don't work..... it's 😢 sad.

I had two employees working close by that asked me if I needed help. The first one was informative and went above and beyond looking for a product from me. Unfortunately they were out and that's when the second employee recommended a similar product. She took me over to where it was and it wasn't there, five minutes later she came running up to me with the product. Neither one gave up and I liked the replacement more than the original. It was nice to see that level of customer service.

Went to get some stuff for a BQQ with a friend and was met by the most rudest, sailor mouth lady in the entire place. I haven't entered the store and she was screaming profanities to its employees, especially the cart pusher that looked so young to be my cousin. The prices were outrages. Terrible service, and the employees were rude as heck! I couldn't even find my stuff and just left the place. The lady was still yelling at the exhausted young cart pusher. The poor boy was the only one working at the parking lot alone. and he looked miserable. I am NEVER setting foot in that store AGAIN! I don't stand employee abuse!!! Especially if is a teen trying to make a living.

I used to love coming here, but lately I can't get the things I want. The rotisserie is broken and I can bake a chicken at home. I can taste the difference. I keep asking asking when is it going to be done because I dont want to have to drive a long way to get what I want. I know people are short staffed but you need to do better. The higher up management needs to get off of thier bums and get things done.

Parking is usually not a problem. The prices are sometimes ridiculous unless you are buying something on sale with your advantage card then most times it is a very good deal. Checking out as usually never a problem as they offer self checkout as well as cashier's to help. Good variety of products and a lot of high-end items which probably explains the prices.

Nice clean store is well-stacked. Personnel are generally friendly and helpful. Prices seem reasonable for this area. I enjoy shopping here. Check out is usually quick even in the employee manned lines. I get some great fresh produce here.
