I have never had a problem with the pharmacy at CVS, however I have had a problem with management. I came in buying flu medication and from the start I noticed the manager following me and keeping a eye on me. As someone who works in retail I understand being vigilant of shoplifters but this was excessive. I went to check out using the self checkout when she came up behind me asking if I needed any help, I said no and when I finished scanning I needed my ID checked because I was buying flu medication. She quickly told me she couldn't sell it to me because im underage before looking at my drivers license/ID which I quickly corrected her and showed her my ID. She then refused to accept my ID, despite acknowledging that I am old enough. When I had to go back to the car to get the person I was with to come in with her ID, I told the lady I would be right back, but when I came back all my items were placed behind the register and my order was cancelled. She yelled across the store at us that someone will be right with us despite a employee being right there to check us out. The male employee has always been great when I come in, and he was apologetic for what happened and quickly checked us out. It is ridiculous that she refused my ID, and I have filed a complaint with corporate.

CVS needs more employees, especially at check out. As well as in the Pharmacy. Because it's closest to me, I prefer to go there.

Incredibly under staffed. They never have anything for kids and won't call you if they don't have the prescription. Try Drug Mart, Giant Eagle, Walmart, or anyone else. This place is terrible.

I had used this CVS for years because my old insurance made me. From 2017-2019 not one problem or complaint. The last 4 years this place has become an absolute train wreck! Only positives are Shawn and Brian!! I have one script I still have filled there are it's a controlled substance.... in the last year they have 'lost' or said there is no script on file for it, several times, when I know it was sent to them. I have waited well over an hour on hold trying to speak to someone in the pharmacy to be told they don't have my script on file, even though the CVS site showed it was filled days earlier. The women in the pharmacy really need to take a course on working with the public! Rude, condescending and just bad attitudes!! I will be switching to a different pharmacy! Maybe there system is screwed up, but I doubt it since any other med I have had filled there has never been lost , but something that is a controlled substance with apparent street value goes missing or gets "lost" regularly..... Makes me wonder what is really going on there!

CVS had a good inventory. The store employees were readily available to hep. They were competent and personable. We also applaud CVS for not taking sides in the abortion controversy as Walgreen's has done. We used to shop at Walgreen's half the time. No more! We are 100% CVS customers now.

The service at this location has went downhill over the past year! I called to check on the status of my prescription, and they tell me that it will be ready in 3 hours (12:00pm) so I stop by after work (4:45pm) and go through the drive thru, for the lady to tell me it's not ready and I will need to wait 15 more minutes. So I park and go inside, wait 30 more minutes in line. Once it was my turn, the lady tells me that it won't be ready until the following day! The pharmacist comes over and doesn't even apologize. I told her that I wasted an hour of my day, when all they had to do was tell me from the beginning. The last few visits have been this way. It's unfortunate, but will have to take my insurance and business elsewhere. I understand that some places are short staffed, but an apology would have been nice!

CVS was my pharmacy and I never had a complaint other than the workers weren’t the friendliest. I now have worked in a place with a pharmacy for the past year and for both convenience and loyalty I switched my prescriptions there.When new prescriptions were accidentally sent to CVS my pharmacy contacted them three times before they transferred only one. On the fourth call they told my pharmacy there were no “refills” available for my other prescription so therefore nothing to send.The point is this was not a refill but a new prescription.I feel like this is CVS’s attempt to strong arm me or inconvenience me to the point I must come to their store. Shame on them, definitely not acting in a professional manner.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy in the area. I’ve had several bad experiences at CVS over the years. Yesterday I arrived at the drive thru to pick up a prescription at 7:50 pm. There was one car in front of me and the pharmacy assistant looked out the window to see how many cars were in line. I was the only one. When I got to the window she threw up the cardboard window cover and left. I understand it was 1 minute past 8:00 pm but rather rude and unprofessional. I have transferred all of my family’s and my prescriptions elsewhere.

The only thing good about the pharmacy is Shawn. I give him a 5 star rating. However, the rest of the pharmacy and staff I am giving a 1 star. Pick-up in the drive thru only. The drive thru line does not move. Why bother opening the pharmacy windows inside if you cannot provide service. Plus this place does have a lot of rude women techs working there as well as a few female pharmacists. There needs to be training on how to effectively provide the services offered or close the business.

Doctor called in my Rx yesterday and went to pick it up and the pharmacy was closed at 4:00pm! Just a handwritten note on the window that said, "closed due to staffing". I received a txt stating that my Rx was filled and would be ready at 3:50. Manager I spoke to was apologetic, but a pharmacy that shuts down at 4:00 in the afternoon is not acceptable. Many angry customers were inside complaining. Will be switching pharmacies.

Id give this place a 0 star if I could. Rudest employees and they don’t seem to know what’s going on at any point in time. Prescription will be on back order and they cannot call to inform or have any types of communications.staff shouting personal information across the pharmacy. Beyond unprofessional and unfriendly.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Total incompetence, they struggle to have a pharmacist on staff so closing the pharmacy so you can’t get your prescriptions. Tried to transfer them & new pharmacy said they’ve suspended transfers from them because they can’t get through to them. Currently sitting in drive through for past 1/2 hour. Absolutely ridiculous.

This place is literally a joke. I wouldn't have my dogs script sent here. Wait all day to find to be told that 2 of 3 where on backorder throughout the whole country, but somehow drug mart magically has it. The red haired lady is rude, mean and yells at customers. The service at Dover CVS sucks and my family will never be back.

Extortion.Now the cvs phone system which was already bad has become worse.It’s nothing to wait 45 minutes on a pharmacy call if they even bother to pick up. Don’t show up at lunch time, you will be looked at and ignored.

Terrible pharmacy. Chronically understaffed, overwhelmed and unable to deal with daily prescription backlogs that result in 4 hour wait times. Always call b4 you go; receiving a text that your script is ready is No Indication that it is actually filled and ready. Go somewhere else if you can.

I was in there today and three female workers were rude to two older gentlemen because of there not being a pharmacist. And they all kept yelling at the gentlemen saying they didn’t know when they were going to be in. Very unimpressed with how the staff treats customers.

What staff they do have are nice.. Gravely understaffed, takes a few days to get prescriptions filled, never answers the phone, had the drive through closed but no sign so I just sat there, their system for medication transfer is ancient, just an all around cluster F. If my insurance didn't require me to go there I wouldn't!!!

Worst pharmacy EVER. Your prescriptions take almost 4 hours or more. The staff is extremely rude. When you try and call your on hold forever. Switching from CVS for sure

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Disorganized, slow, and even one of the techs seems to have some sort of nervous trouble where she talks non-stop, doesn't listen to questions, interrupts and in general makes me crazy when all I want to do is ask ONE question. After a 20 minute hold to talk to these people, that's the last thing I want to get stuck with. Worse pharmacy EVER and I've lived alot of places in the world. Would change if my insurance would let me; am considering changing my insurance just to be able to use another pharmacy. They are THAT bad.

Went in to print 2 photos. After figuring out the Kiosk, we sent the order, got our receipt, and waited for the prints to come out. Several minutes pass and the printers don't seem to be doing anything, so we asked an employee to check if they were working. He did a cursory inspection of them, said that everything looked normal and that "they were in there," (our pictures, I assume) it just took a while. After a few more minutes of nothing happening, we figured maybe we did something wrong at the terminal, or maybe the station we used wasn't working, so we tried again on a different computer. This time, I noticed a small "warning" icon at the top of the screen during the ordering process, so I clicked on it and got a message that the "print ribbon cartridge needed replaced" or something to that effect, and to contact an employee. Called the same employee back and showed him the message, but instead of actually changing anything resembling a printing cartridge at the actual printers, he just fiddled around at the computer terminal for a bit, ultimately rebooting the system and then telling us "it would just take a few minutes, they're in there, they just need to print." Well DUH! But they're not going to print until the machines have ink! I'm normally not one to walk out, but we did. We had food in the car that needed refrigerated, and this guy clearly didn't know how to fix the problem at hand. Oh, and the photos we were trying to print? Were of me and my dad at my wedding, to be used at a display for his funeral tomorrow. :-( So yeah, pretty big fail on customer service here.

We have had a difficult time with this location and receiving vaccinations. They would tell us that we did not have insurance coverage for a vaccine when we did.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST pharmacy I have ever been to in my ENTIRE life—avoid at all costs! They are always short staffed and completely unorganized. I bring my prescription in days before I need it so that if they are out I can take it elsewhere—then they won’t tell me until I go to pick it up that they are out and can’t get my medication in for weeks. And then I’m scrambling last minute driving all over trying to find a pharmacy to fill it that dayMeanwhile, when I drop it off they always claim that they have plenty in stock and that it will be ready when I pick it up.Save yourself the stress and go to giant eagle or drug mart, where they are professional, organized, and timely.

Store always has at least a 20 minute wait in line. I've been told a prescription was ready only to have to wait another 15 mins in line after getting to the pharmacy. Just all around bad experiences with this pharmacy.

I worked here and I enjoyed every minute of it (for the most part haha)and management always does their best to keep their customers happy. The Pharmacy wait can be a bit much but they are trying their best back there with how much staff is allocated to them. I would recommend this place as a great place of convenience but prices can be high, luckily there are really great deals some weeks where other places can't beat so shop with a plan and coupons.
