We bought a new 2023 Coachmen Nova Class B from this dealer a few months ago. Very helpful and answered all our questions on the different models before we made our choice. No pressure sales, no added on hidden "fees". Todd was great to work with and a super nice guy. The entire process was smooth. Great prices on their inventory. Everyone was super nice to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend them!! Definitely worth the country drive!

Great people to do business with. We purchased a new motorhome and had a few issues with it on our first trip out. They worked it in to their shop and repaired the issues in 3 days. They are a keystone service company. I called them to get a claim started because the work couldn’t be done there at their service department but all they had to do was look at it, and send pictures to Keystone to get my claim going and they totally refused to even do that. That was Doug Schaffer who totally refused to do that. Good luck getting your RV service at this place. I would highly recommend looking somewhere else if you’re going to buy an RV.

We drove 1900 miles to purchase a Keystone Springdale travel trailer from here. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. Todd is a fantastic guy!! Bought a truck from these people, they said they checked it out and it was good. Fuel gauge did not work, ac did not work and it shut down on me due to the fact someone cleared the codes on it so it would run for a while. After getting it checked out the dpf filters were so bad there’s no way it just now was having problems. There are a few other suspect problems but the engine seems sound. Windshields had to be replaced so before I even ran my 1st load I’ve spent 4500.00

Although they have a nice selection of vehicles and the people who work here are nice, we had a mediocre experience with the vehicle we rented. I would encourage renters to ask and double ask about cleanliness, particularly in a COVID world. We found an old comb & kitchenware from a previous renter, jelly on the ceiling, and lots of dirt and hair in cracks on the floor. I have no idea if they disinfected the vehicle prior to renting it but I do know they didn't do a detailed cleaning. Also, and maybe this is obvious to more experienced RV renters, our 2006 rental had various things falling apart and not working. Among other things, the lock on the back outside storage compartment didn't work (I failed to check this before leaving) and the side view mirror bounced out of place quite often while driving down the road. Just know that they rent "as is" and it's up to you to figure out what that means for each particular vehicle. Finally, and this was the most disappointing, when I emailed about these items, no one followed up. We probably won't rent from here again...I'd like to support business that practice good customer service and offer high quality products.

If you are interested in a RV this is the place to go. Low overhead operation is reflected in the vehicle pricing. After sale service has been excellent. The dealership navigated all the necessary communication with Winnebago to our complete satisfaction.

No nonsense dealer. Lowest price in the country was quoted to me as the first price over the phone. Promised no BS fees added and I flew there and picked it up as promised. Had some issues w the dinnette table and they shipped me a new one on warranty. I can't recommend them enough. I have bought many dozens of vehicles in my life and I prefer not to buy new because I prefer to buy private due to the Bs games dealers play. Shafer's played no games. A++

I was quote a price for a 2019 Renegade Veracruz on a Monday and was told that was their best price. By Sat. it was listed on RVTrader for $7500 less than what i was quoted. Never received an email, a phone call, nothing. Not reputable in my opinion.

An excellent buying experience. No games, the lowest price we found nationwide, only $100 dealer prep fee (for the temporary license), high profit dealer add-ons were never offered, and the Winnebago Travato was delivered spotlessly clean with everything in working order. Paperwork took about 10 minutes. We were also impressed by the thorough pre-delivery inspection and orientation prior to taking delivery. HIGHLY recommended.Tom and LeAnnHurricane, UT

After checking some other RV sites we've found Shafer RV's prices to be better than those others. We met one of the owners (Todd). Even though we arrived nearly at closing time he was accomodating, even offering to let us drive the particular coach we had in mind as much after closing time as it was.Very knowledgeable, helpful and answered every question we had. We'll likely be back.

I purchased a used Winnebago from here in January and found the people ok to deal with but since buying the coach have found them to be very dishonest.They told us the coach was fully serviced , wrong first thing the alternator quit found out it was so rusty it broke to pieces cost $1500 to replace plus the air filter was rustedand had to be replaced the mechanic told me that the coach had been sitting for along time and rust was severe even had to replace all the hose clamps in his opinion it hadn't been serviced recently.They told too many lies to mention here I'll just say I would NOT recommend Shafer's. Buyer's be ware

Sure they have lower prices. However, they could care less about you after the sell. My mom bought a motorhome and no one will ever call her back. I'm sure they don't even do a pdi on their inventory. Spend the extra money and buy local. At least they will return your calls

I bought a fastway wieght distribution hitch and the shank that came with the kit was not a low enough drop for my stock 2500hd. I bought the kit from them. I called asking for a shank that would get me 4" lower I told them the one that came with the kit didn't work on my truck and the lady told me it would and I wish I was offered the kit without the shank that was cheaper and I could buy the one I needed for my truck. They immediately went on the defense saying I was doing it wrong didn't know what I was talking i should've told the lady I had a jacked up truck, ( I don't its factory Chevy sits higher up), and there is no kit without a shank. There's a part number on the box they sold me for a kit with NO shank. Anyway I went to Circle K in Pettisville and he had what I needed for cheaper. I give him 5 stars

Terry Shafer is a major crook. Beware. He Drastically misrepresented a Peterbilt and to top it off he don’t care. He knew we were driving it home 1000 miles, he failed to mention the engine don’t have any oil pressure. He failed to mention most of the lights don’t work. He failed to mention a lot of negative things about the truck. He also had it falsely advertised with a different engine, and way different miles than it actually has. Beware. Beware. Beware

If I could give no stars I would. Father inlaw had been communicating with a salesperson name's Terry about the purchase of a RV. Knowing we were driving all the way from Houghton Lake Mi never mentioned that the air conditioning does not work! Also the step was broke and he is elderly. He almost broke his neck trying to get out of the pos. So thank you shafers for wasting our time and having us drive a ridiculous amount of miles with a 9 month old, a 3 year, old and a senior citizen in 100 degree heat to a motor home with no a.c.!

Very misleading advertisement on the side of the road. I broke down in my Winnebago and saw their sign while being towed, said sales and service. They do not do any service to engines for rvs. Only interior work, which is absolutely useless.
