Chief's is a great place to shop. It's a little pricey to make it my full-time grocery store. I do watch the ads and go for specials because they carry quality brands discount stores do not. The deli and specialty cheese department is great for special occasions or a treat. The meat department far exceeds the other stores in quality and the ability to buy a large amount or just enough for one or two people. It's nice to have an individual bag your groceries and help you out to your car if you like. Sign up for the savings plan to save extra money. Enjoy the store for what it is a great specialty store.

Good store to have in delphos. You never know how the employees will treat you. Guess if they are having a bad day or not. So i just get in and out. Some items are cheaper than the dollar stores and some not. It's convenient

Hard to rate when it is the only grocery in town.The prices can be hefty but it is great to have a local grocery.They will never have the complete lines of ethnic choices and fresh seafoods that the Meijers and Walmarts have.

They are normally out of stock of a lot of items, we bought lemons from there and two in the bag were moldy already. Their website never tells you if they are out of stock on items. Hands down worst chief I’ve personally been to, on the other hand their staff is OUTSTANDING with customer service.

Store was nicely lain out, clean, and the staff was friendly. Was really only passing through to pick up some items for a camping trip, which included some beers from local Ohio breweries. Found out at the register that they don't accept out-of-state IDs, cited as company policy. Just wanted to make sure people are aware, as I don't recall seeing any notice in the beer or wine aisles.

Make sure you check the expiration dates on everything you buy. Purchased apple juice today and it was expired two years ago. Quality checks needs to happen. This also isn’t the first time we have purchased expired food from this location.

Extremely little selection in produce.. overpriced for the quality..fair meat selection. Pricing definitely isn't the greatest. It's absolutely just a convenience thing. Not saying it's bad products or bad workers but just a lot of small negatives add up. Really look up (Lowe's foods Summerville) South Carolina. Even (Neighborhood Walmart) yeah it's a thing then you'll understand what a shopping experience is, there's actually a cup holder in the cart because you can walk around with an open local micro brew on tap or a major brand or go over to the actual bar section and sit with your drink. THIS is just another local place that people don't like change and it makes money so it is what it is.

Chief Supermarket is always well stocked with anything you need from food to party supplies and a great deli department. The custom cut meats at the deli department are always fresh and tasty. Their pre-packaged goods, like chocolate covered pretzels and mini buckeyes are always a good choice for the sweet tooth. If you live locally you receive a mailer that gives you special deals on various items every week.

Great staff, amazing service. The butcher shop, Deli and bakery do amazing work on their products and orders, from hand cut steaks, custom cakes and specialty salads Chief Supermarkets is a great store.

They have the poorest service, been here for years and it never gets any better.They have long lines with one register open, and the cashier has to bag also, or you have to bag your own.... which wouldn't be bad if the prices were reasonable, but they are higher than other places, makes me want to just drive to Meijer's and pay al little more for gas and a lot less for groceries. They are lucky they are the only store in Delphos.... with service like that .... they would be a store of the past......

Rather expensive, can drive 15 minutes east on 309 to the Meijer store and get better prices for groceries. They do have good baked goods though and produce is good quality.

The prices here are getting outrageous. .. I asked a simple question regarding their egg prices.... cashier said..she doesn't buy many so dhe don't know??? Wow... great answer. .. my trips at chiefs is becoming increasingly less!

Being the only grocery that's close, we are forced to go here every now and then. Freezer items are usually freezer burnt or very close to expiration. Poor selection of produce and meat. Employees are always rude. The prices are outrageous compared to other grocery stores. Save yourself some money and sanity and go to Meijer in Lima.

It's Chiefs. In a small town so expect unreasonably high prices. Baggers are polite and helpful, cashiers and a couple office staff are unfriendly. Most employees are unhelpful and rude and ignore you when you pass them in the isles.. This is one of my least favorite places. Sorry Chiefs, I give you 1/4 th of a star and that's only because you're open 24 hrs. Much customer service training needed desperately, including management.

I had a 9 hour drive and stopped in Delphos overnight. I thought that i could pop into Cheif Market and grab some snacks and beer to wind down in my roadside hotel before taking on another 9 hour drive the next day. I cameinto the market and asked where I could find a few things, including beer, and one cashier hesitantly pointed me towards the isle and said “it should always be near the produce, of course.” Which I thought was an odd response. Then when I went to check out, the cashier refused to sell me beer because “Ohio doesn’t accept out-of-state licenses for alcohol sales” said the cashier. I thought that was super weird so I left and went to get gas, and the gas station had no problem accepting my license. What I thought would had been an easy-going night where I could get everything I needed in one place (i.e. a grocery store) led to me going to a few places and made me feel like my business wasn’t appreciated. Hard pass on this wishy-washy market.
