Really cool basically antique A&A location. Walked inside and it was a very nice throwback. The lady at the counter was super nice and funny too. The food is hot and delicious. The bathroom was a little weird but still functional lol. The milkshake is delicious. I won’t be back here since I’m traveling through only, but it is still a very cool and genuine place to have a good lunch! Thank you!

When I was there, I got a Mushroom Swiss Burger with a fry and a root beer float. The fries were very crispy, the float, served in a chilled mug, was amazing, and the burger was pretty good as well. The staff member there took orders as well as brought my food out to me, and he was super friendly. I may not go to Delphos very often, but whenever I'm there, I make sure to eat at A&W.

Horrendous customer service and food. The girl kept trying to charge an extra $2.39 for a drink already included in the combo, after several minutes she finally got help from management. She told me she’d make the coffee fresh and bring it to me. There was only 1 couple in line behind us. 15 minutes later I finally went to the counter, and she said she’d been too busy to make it. By then the line had grown, but why wait on other people and never get the drink for someone 15 minutes earlier?! I waited another 15 minutes before going back up and was told, “I’ve been too busy to pour it.” Really? It’s been 30 minutes waiting for a cup of coffee! She slams down a half-filled cup of coffee, spilled coffee all over the cup and counter, so I asked her to please fill it. Slams it down again, more coffee all over the cup and counter. No apologies. Worst coffee ever, not surprised looking at the archaic coffee maker. I threw it away and got Rootbeer. We waited over 30 minutes for half-cooked hamburgers, tasteless fries…while others got their food and drinks. Never an apology. Waste of time and money. A “1” rating is too high.

Oh A&W, you are an original favorite. This location has been around a long time but the food quality has slipped. It's not bad and still better than McDonald's but it was much better years ago. The service was outstanding as well as the facility. I will continue to patronize this location but I wish you would increase the quality of the food.

The root beer is made fresh daily, and it is awesome. The food was good. The service was good. The place was clean. But that root beer was absolutely great.

Update 20231017Stopped by again and still as good as always. Went inside this time and was greeted as soon as I walked in with I was greeted with a friendly "hello sir how are you today?". Food cane out fast and was hot and fresh. Will continue to stop by here every time I come by this way!

Avoid this restaurant!The food was cold and subpar. The rootbeer float tasted salty and mediocre at best. The Rootbeer "on tap" was broken. My husband's order was wrong, he asked for a cheeseburger without mustard. The bread was falling apart like it was frozen and thawed.

Great classic Drive-In dinning feel, great food, decently priced and root beer float in frosted mug a must. Even though they don't have the carhops, can still see some of the architecture. And I've never had my order messed up, but of course I get my self out of my vehicle and talk with someone face to face, a lot can lost or misunderstood at the drive thru.

We came out from Defiance because we had errands to run. The food was delicious, and I believe it was the owner there today taking orders and picking up trash, delivering food, and following up on our satisfaction. We are small business owners also and this place will be our go to everytime we are in the area. It is such a gem and we are glad we found it today.

Coney dog w/ fry and root beer was $9. Coney default was with nacho cheese. If ordered again I’d just do mustard and onions (I think onions are additional cost btw). Coney was 7/10, maybe better without nacho cheese. Fries tasted like they were in ancient unchanged oil and had a slightly off putting taste. They were dark and soggy. Root beer was good.For the price I expect better.

Usually have a better experience but tonight was really upsetting. We got 4 lg rootbeers with our meals. They were handed out the window in a broken cup holder and went all over my son and vehicle. Then instead of a sorry anything we were just looked at with a blank stare and even had to ask to get fresh pops.. Which came with a snide comment from the manager about using 2 hands I told them we did the 1st time and didn't want another one of their cup holders. Came home and started getting everyone's meals too them and realized they forgot some of the food. Called them that was a very rude unprofessional phone call on their end. Still got the missing food before they closed but wow Never Again 💯

I just left here. There's no open sign. Had to drive to the window and wait until an employee showed up. All I wanted was a simple coney dog and 3 root beer floats. After several minutes I received a hot dog with some chili. No onions, no cheese. I was raised on this fun food and wanted to have a blast from the past. A waste of money and the chili is super salty. Won't be back. Extremely disappointed!

Worst food, we waited like the food wasn't ready, so thought fresh food, hot food! Nope, they were just standing around. Food was gross, cold, hamburger buns stale and hard. Hotdog for granddaughter didn't even look like a hot dog, she is 3 and wouldn't even eat it! And she loves hotdogs! Not sure what's going on, but maybe better supervision! It was just not a good experience at all!! Never going back! At least not to that location!!!
